Farkur wouldn't head off to the Coster on his own, since he feels like he has everything he needs. He will most likely follow Ally, unless she shows some reticence to him accompanying her. If she decides to go to the Coster, he'll pick up a handaxe. If not, he'll not even miss it.
Stepping into Barthen's Provisions behind Sappho and Ally, Farkur smiles at the shelves full of wares. He walks around, touching and picking up many things on the low shelves to look at them more closely.
Sappho furrows her brow at Rawley. "That's pretty pessimistic of you. I know in my case, I had some coin already that I used. Also being alive to receive the second half is the primary goal of buying supplies." She gives a slight frown in Rawley's direction and turn to Farkur, "I'm sure we'll be fine! Like i said, silly rumors blow things out of proportion. Besides, we seem like a capable bunch."
to Farkur "Don't listen to Rawley, I think what you bought at the store was very clever. I have no doubt that it will help us catch...whatever it is we are catching." She give him a smile and wrinkles her nose at Rawley.

Farkur gives Ally a weak smile, then, at seeing the approaching creature, breaks into a huge grin.

"Look at that elephant!" the gnome trumpets. "Oh, wow! I've never seen one outside of books. It's huge!" He can't help himself; Farkur hurries toward the procession to look at the creature more closely, totally ignoring all the humanoids, including those tied up.
A petite human woman in several layers of brown and grey fabric walks next to the enormous elephant, one hand stretched out holding his trunk as if holding hands. The other hand grips a staff and swings it forward with each step. Across her torso from shoulder to opposite flank is a thick leather strap, an indication of a pack slung across her back. She turns her head over her shoulder and speaks to one of her companions, a lock of lank, mousy hair falling from behind her ear.
"Maive?" she calls, a pitch in her voice conveying concern and then tilts her head to the group ahead. Then she half-smiles in despite of herself, "The last few days must be getting to me, even simple travelers are causing my stomach to drop and the words to incantations to form on my tongue without thought." The women furrows her brow slightly and continues to approach with the elephant and her companions at the same, unhurried pace.
As she gets closer, the dirt, sweat, and evidence of battle are evident on her dingy and torn clothing, smudges of dirt of her face and hands, the healing wound just visible on her shoulder and especially in the weary look of pale young woman.
A young human man walks up beside the woman, his green cloak flapping as he goes. The tip of a lute can be seen over his shoulder, and a rapier hangs at his hip.
"Were just a bit on edge." He says to the woman, "And considering the circumstances, It's probably a good thing."
Farkur blinks at Sildar, realizing his presence for the first time, though it doesn't seem to surprise him. "Indlovu," the gnome repeats. "Hello, Indlovu!" he calls to the elephant, almost laughing.

"We have some great news," Farkur says to Rawley with false excitement. "Where we're headed are untold horrors. Exciting, right?"
Rawley considers him for a moment and says, "And we have already spent some of the reward money.. great start."
Sappho furrows her brow at Rawley. "That's pretty pessimistic of you. I know in my case, I had some coin already that I used. Would Rawley know of a good spot to camp at on the road to Triboar? If so, he would set a suitable pace for the group to get there by nightfall.
Farkur wilts at Rawley's words. He looks down at the chain hanging out of his pocket and slowly stuffs the end into the pocket and out of sight.

(I love it. It's like one of those easter eggs in a Pixar movie)
