(Might as well make the most of it. On the bright side, if Bastille dies, I have another back-up. This one's a Conquest Paladin
Death Flail with dagger: 10 Dmg: 4
Death Save: 8
Bastille screams as the blade sinks deep into her back. Surprisingly, she still stands staggering. The other one tries to kill her with his own attack. She says, "If I die, I'm taking you with me." and lunges with her own dagger. Then she falls and begins to bleed out.
(This is going to be bad for me but I thought I should mention it just for fairness sake. Because of how the rules are written, Bastille should take 2 failures from the attack. Unconscious creatures get auto-critted from melee attacks and getting critted while rolling death saves equals 2 failures. Of course, that would also mean the the attacker still has to get through the targets AC, rolling with advantage so there is that. But Bastille's AC is 13 so it's likely it would hit still)
(I mean, if it did double Bastille would be dead right now so I'm not going argue to have it do double damage. Personally I think it's more fair to have it do 1 failure too. I was just saying what that the rules say.)
Vimak has, I think, one DAoO against 4 (Attack21, for 11 damage) and one against 5 (Attack 22, for 14).
He also needs to make a Dex save against a 12DC to avoid falling: 22. If he does fall, he takes 9 points of damage.
Finally, I roll a 1d6 to see the effects of the double max attack: 6. Six means he has been hit in the leg, so two 1d4 rolls 1 and 2.
So, Vimak's left leg is crippled, halving his movement. He has, I think, 2 HP left, but he has not fallen.
Does that seen correct, Raiketsu?
He will take Second Wind as his bonus action, adding 7 to his remaining HP. He is torn over stabilizing Bastille or attacking B3, but decides to stabilize though he is not very good a Medicine: 19.
(Based on the order: Left leg, Can't jump anymore, but no movement penalty - but you should have 5 HP. Cirrus has 2.)
Vimak, despite his recent injury, manages to quite deftly avoid falling down the now collapsed bridge and cliffs-edge. Vimak manages to touch just the right places on Bastille, being so perfect in his handling of Bastilles body that they jerk up, regaining consciousness with 1 HP.
((Will need to continue updating later. Bastille may take an action))
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.

Just as Vimak gets Bastille up, Cirrus begins to realize the danger of his situation. Raising his crossbow in a desperate attempt, he fires, but the crossbow is knocked aside this time just as the bolt is tensed, firing into the crevasse. A wicked grin crosses the thugs features, seeing the desperation in Cirrus' eyes.

Somehow, the redbrand saws down every insect as it appears, insect guts and limbs flying everywhere.
So.... the redbrand who had just shown the finest display of swordsmanship Bastille had ever laid eyes on. Looks like you're all on your last leg. Gonna keep up this pointless fight? Or will ya surrender all nice like? Give up and we might just spare you. Combat is paused, but all redbrands and bugbears prepare an action. Raising their respective weapons to be at the ready.
Cirrus does not look at the party, he does not say anything, he just gets on his knees, and puts his hands over his head.

Bastille growls. She doesn't want to but she sees that she's been bested. It wounds her pride but she slowly gets on her knees. The redbrands will be sorry. When she is rested and able to cast spells and shapeshift, they will pay.
Vimak looks at Cirrus and he looks at Bastille. Obviously, he thinks, they are planning to lull these thugs and Bugbears into a false sense of security before renewing the fight. Not his favorite strategy, not his favorite move, but he will do it.
He will play along.
Vimak sets his bloody ax down, covers it with his shield, and kneels.
Attaboys. Attaboys. Good, you saw reason. Glasstaff will give credit, where credit is due. You three poked your noses where they didn't belong, and forced the boss to move on with the next phase of his plan. So be proud, you were almost a hindrance to the boss! He instructed us to not kill you all... for questioning later. Glad you were all so keen on obliging. Would have been a shame if we had had to kill you. Now, Come along then....
Those who were still alive in the crevasse, climbed out, some of them bloody, and disfigured from their falls. The remaining bugbears grabbing Cirrus and Vimak and walking them towads the area they had busted out of. The one who had deflected her spell so deftly, taking Bastille, and walking her the same direction. Vimak, and Cirrus being patted down for any other weapons they might have had on them, and removing them. Some of the remaining redbrands, gathering the weapons, and shield that were dropped down, and carried the entire 'stock' the opposite direction. The group was led to the same room Vimak had been in moments before the ambush, walking them through the now busted secret door, through a small hallway. At the end of the hallway, the group was turned through a door that led int what looked like a crypt. Three large stone sarcophagi stand within this dusty crypt, and propped up against each sarcophagus is a human skeleton clad in bits of rusty mail. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The double doors in the southeast corner are sheathed in tarnished copper plate.
The party was then led into another room not too far to the east,
This long room is partitioned into three areas, with iron bars walling off the north and south. Filthy straw lines the floors of those cells, the hinged doors of which are secured by chains and padlocks. A pair of disheveled human women are held in the cell to the south, while a two human boys is confined to the north. All are dressed in plain gray tunics and have iron collars fitted around their necks.
A heap of discarded clothing is piled carelessly against the far wall.
The party is split. With Vimak being put in the cell with the women, and Bastille along with Cirrus, being put in the cell with the boys. The same collars placed around their necks, before the redbrands left the cell, locking it behind them. Surprisingly though, the redbrands left and the sound of a lock clicking on the door, signifying that it was locked as well, but the party was left to it's own devices. Likely, the beatup redbrands were seeking the solace of rest, to recover their injuries.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
When the bugbear suddenly grabs Cirrus, he can't help but start shaking and breathing shallowly. Seeing the two boys in the cell gives Cirrus hope that the boy they were told was being held here might not actually be dead, as Glastaff had led them to believe. Is there any kind of check I can make to see if I can tell if there's anything special about the collars? Maybe a Perception check? (22) Or an Investigation check? (11) Or an Arcana check to see if they are enchanted in some way? (18). After the sound of the locking door, Cirrus whispers to Bastille, "they may have taken my weapons, but they didn't take this." He holds up his pan pipes, which he uses to cast his spells. "What about you? Did they take your arcane focus?" (He listens to her response) "As a fellow spell caster, I'm sure we can agree that what we need is time to regain our spell casting ability, and also to recover from our wounds." he says, referring to the near death state the two of them are. In a slightly less quiet voice, he addresses the boys. "Hello, are the two of you unharmed? Were there always only two kids your age here, or were there more?"

@DM: Did they take away Bastille's staff? (The one with the druidic focus attached to it?)
Bastille answers in a whisper, <Positive/Negative based on DM response>. She says, "Once I regain my strength they shall pay for this mistreatment." Bastille seems surprisingly calm given their current situation. Bastille seems to have an unshakable confidence in her own abilities, even to a fault.

Might ZulkRS’s aConquest Paladin arrive with the villagers?

My AC is 13. 6 + 5 + 9 = 20. My Max HP is 19. Therefore, I am unconscious.
I get an AoO on 6 for his one hit that missed. 5 to hit; 5 damage.

(Cirrus.... Those rolls are incorrect. I kept track of HP rolls and damage, you have 2 HP.)

(Oh. Excellent!)
(Boy, I sure have put myself in a terrible situation. If I shoot, I have disadvantage, if I leave, 6 gets a AoO. If I miss my shot, he gets an AoO...)
(... I'm going to die.)
CIrrus is trying to shoot: 6 to hit; 5

(Is 4 still standing on top of Bastille?)
(Also Bastille is still confident in being able to survive this. I am not though)
(Nope, 4 is dead)

(Well since I'm out of spell slots and wild shapes...)
Bastille gets up and immediately throws a swarm of insects at 5. Casting Infestation.
CON save DC14 or take: 3 Poison damage.
On failure, you must move (1) north unless that direction is blocked.
(Damn. Was hoping he'd move east and fall off the cliff again)
