(That's good to know. Communication is super important between a DM and their players. I'm sure you understand this, but we all really like our characters, and we don't want them to die. So we aren't the sort to jump blindly into a situation, consequences be damned (if we were a party of all barbarians, however...). We want to be sure that we have a well thought out plan before taking actions. Which honestly feels more realistic. Real people don't go into a potentially life-threatening situation thinking, "Well if I die, I'll just make a new character.")
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
(I'm pretty sure people who believe in reincarnation don't want to die either. For all they know, they'll be reborn as an ant so that's not exactly a very ideal situation.)
Bastille says, "I still believe we can over power them. Last time, I was careless. I had spent all my spells and my transformations. We also became surrounded. That being said, I know of a way I can bring us the weapons undetected. I will change form into a spider once again and crawl into the weapon room. Then I will gather all our weapons since they didn't take my backpack away and drink a potion of invisibility. Then I will sneak back into this room and give your weapons back. However, If I do it now, I won't be able to change back into any other creature so we must do it only when we are ready to act. The thugs stand no chance against me at my full power. "
(OOC: I want to remind all the players so that I don't get blamed for it later; Bastille is over-confident in her own abilities. So whenever she says stuff like "they stand no chance against me", it might be a good idea to NOT take that at face value.)
"How many do we think are left? Four and then two bugbears? But that assumes no reinforcements," Vimak says. "And they are likely to be healthy. Or at least rested." He thinks for a moment. "This basement is too small and there is no place to hide for long. If we tried taking them in small groups in the town instead . . . but they are very willing to slay the innocent as the body the town rallied around proves." He exhales and runs a hand over his bare head. "It is safest for the town if we go room by room here. It seems," he says.
“It does seem as though that might be our best course of action. I hope our many encounters don’t make so much noise that the entire base hunts us down all at once from the start.”

Bastille nods, "I see this as the best course of action as well. So what do you propose? After an hour, I change into a spider and retrieve our weapons?"
“Do you need an hour to regain the ability to change shape?”

Bastille says, "Yes. I can still change shape now if I want but I can only do it twice before I need to recharge. If I change shape now, I will be left without the ability to change into any other animals, effectively lowering my defensive and offensive capabilities. This form of magic is normally only possessed by Druids by channeling the power of nature. However, my master taught me how to bend nature to my will by using special spells and incantations. This is the power of a witch."
Cirrus nods, "That sounds perfectly logical. Alright, one more hour, and then we make our escape." Cirrus then pulls out one of his rations boxes, and begins eating during this short rest.

"Would you like me to try and break your bonds after I break mine?" Vimak asks the two women. "It is a complicated question. You may be risking your lives if you are found unbound. You're most certainly risking your freedom by staying bound, but they will not kill you if they have buyers. It is up to you, but I would rather risk death than be sold. Think and talk about it, if you'd like."
The woman looked up, while the girl continued to rest. Well... I'd rather you break our bindings, and ... we'll try to escape when the time is right.... or... if you'd prefer.. we can wait for you to come back.. you can snap the collars but we can pretend they aren't damaged? so they won't notice? As for eturning it... well.. if I make it out of here... I live in the Mill. My husband was a carpenter... I'll.. even reward you, and I won't take no for an answer... so long as I survive.
We will Miss... These people seem confident and capable.... We've been lucky that the ******** who put us in here haven't came back in so long... perhaps these folks thrashed them harder than they expected. The girl said. By this point, both the boys had fallen asleep, one of them with a tear-stained face, and a migraine.
(The dice say no one is coming during this hour, so you can all decide when the hour is up. Dice have been very favorable to you these last 5 secret rolls, lol)
(Awesome. That’s what I’ve been afraid of this entire time)
Cirrus will place a box of rations between the two kids.
“If we get the chance once we leave, I would like to visit the armory Bastille saw our weapons in. If there are some weapons in there that I could equip myself with to make myself even more capable in combat, I wouldn’t want to pass up that opportunity.”

"The Mill," Vimak says. "I'll remember."
When everyone seems rested, Vimak puts a hand on each side of his collar. He tires to break it off (STR Athletics): 10.
If he succeeds, he will start working on the door. Vimak takes the bar of the door closest to the frame in both hands. He then plants one foot against the bar of the cell wall closest to the frame and, while pulling, hefts the other foot up about shoulder width from the first foot. His spine is parallel to the ground. Holding the door and the cell wall, he stands, which should pull the door open (STR Athletics): 14
If he fails to pull the collar off, he will try it again before working on the door (STR Athletics): 21, 11.
After that, he tugs on the collars of the two women, assuming both are willing (STR Athletics):24, 24.

Cirrus will use the pins Vimak gave him to try to pick the lock of his collar: 10
If he succeeds then he will attempt to pick the lock of Bastille's collar so she doesn't have to burn a wild shape to get out of it: 6
Then he will try to pick the lock of the door: 13

Vimak's first attempt leaves deep gouges in his hands that are likely to welt over later, however his next attempt tears it off with little more pain to his fingers, but they will remain sore for a few minutes. Neither women have any reason to not be willing, once more he gouges his fingers, but manages to get the older woman free after a second attempt. Heading to the door, ti give his hands a break from smaller things, he tries the door, and though it screeches slightly, he manages to not budge it in the slightest. (door DC is 18, collar DC's as well.)
Cirrus manages to easily pick his collar, and the door, but one pin breaks in his attempt to remove bastilles.
