Eldar turns his head to Daiyu slightly. "Felt like a summoning spell, but I am not sure." He nods in the direction of the Dragonborn. "I think his name is Johgar. He has offered to assist us. Frankly, with the disappearance of Vandell and Mura, we are going to need it. The short one there, ' he nods in the pixies direction, "I am not sure of as she has yet to speak." He turns to Johgar. "We would welcome your assistance in this quest. There have been rumors of giants causing all kinds of problems."
Alastania rests her wings between her beloved companion's colored antlers, now perched atop his head. She shifts her eyes slowly between each of these new faces before her, absorbing each word and persona.
She gently sighs with a gentle wing flutter as she realizes she has yet to speak. " I am called Alastania. Though I know not how I got here or who any of you are, I've been listening to you speak and I've seen you fight. Please, do not underestimate my size. I may be small, but I am quite strong."
She nods her head to her trusted sidekick, " This is Xerneas. I do believe he and I could be quite useful to your team."
Eldar nods at the pixie. "So, we were starting to explorer this town. Mainly to see what caused the destruction, beyond the obvious of the rocks, and to see where the people are. Plus the bell in the temple tower is making a noise so it is possible someone is here... maybe." He looks at the party, "What do you think?"
Eyeing the surrounding damage to the town, Alastania speaks, "The question is, was it the Worgs that did this, and if so, how did they manage to tear a chunk of the earth like this?" After a moment of thought she sighs, with a sudden realization. "Perhaps it wasn't the fallen enemies at all that did this. Perhaps somebody else rang the chime of the bell, directing your group to battle. If that is the case, then who else is here and how did they know you were coming?"
Eldar shrugs as he turns his large black head to the Pixie. "Who says they called us here to battle?" His ears flick again at the bell chiming through the air. "Until we find the ones here, we will not know for sure."
"Is not your first instinct when you hear an out of place sound to investigate where the sound is coming from? I know that's what I would do. To win a battle, you must think beyond what you see directly in front of you." Flicking her wings in thought, Alastania directs her attention to the black beast, "Is there not a reason for you being here? Just as there was a reason for my summoning."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Eldar, blinks slowly at the young child. He sighs inwardly at the young, his mind flickering to his family briefly, "Dawnguard has summoned us to find out about the Giants and what is causing them to behave as they have started to. This town was rumored to be on the Giant's list to visit for some reason. The large rocks you see about, " He nods to the destroyed buildings and stones that are embedded into the ground about 50 foot or more from where they are currently standing, "seem to support that they were here. I doubt, however, they are still here ringing that blasted bell." He glances around at the fallen worgs. He attempts to remember the information he has about them. ( Insight: 23 ) The information comes to him after a moment. "These creatures, or large angry puppy as Jhogar here calls them, are called Worg and known to be kept by goblins. I have not seen any goblins yet, but normally where the worgs are the goblins are not far behind."
Alastania notices the stranger's derisive demeanor but says nothing. " If there are Goblins here, then it is possible that they're grouped together. I wouldn't recommend splitting up completely, however, it seems as though there is much ground to cover here.
The decisions made to move on, the party moves cautiously back into the road to start searching the town again. To the left is the temple with the ringing bell, ahead the town square and to the right a fenced in farm area.
Alastania ponders for a moment, before speaking. "Perhaps someone should investigate the temple. It would be alot easier to focus on our surroundings without that infuriating ringing." She flicks her wrist towards the bell. "It might be quicker and alot quieter if I go, seeing as quite obviously, I have wings. Anyone care to join me?"
Eldar watches the dragon born run off into the temple and sighs. He looks at Daiyu sleeping against her bear and chuckles. He turns and strides off after the dragon born to see what is causing that bell to ring.
This wooden temple is dedicated to Lathander (god of the dawn) and Mielikki (goddess of forests). It has a slender steeple containing a large bronze bell, and stained glass windows depicting images of birth, the dawning sun, trees, and unicorns. The front door to the temple is wide open and the bell is ringing incessantly. Sunlight or moonlight pours into this high-vaulted chamber through four stained-glass windows set into the north and south walls. Beneath the windows are plain wooden benches for the elderly or infirm to sit on. The room is mostly empty otherwise. Standing against the back wall is a wooden pulpit with steps leading up to it. The floor of the temple is composed of dirt. Set into the west wall, north of the pulpit, is a half-open door.
"Uh, me not understand what you mean. But if you want me to help me very strong and very useful."
Daiyu, appears from the Tower door, running her hand through Bug's slick coat as she moves past her.
"Eldar, what happened to the others?"
To the Blue Dragonborn, " Who are you? And what is that with the Deer?"
Daiyu, rubs her hands over her face a couple times and turns back to Eldar, " How long was I in that Tower? Are we babysitting now?"
Eldar turns his head to Daiyu slightly. "Felt like a summoning spell, but I am not sure." He nods in the direction of the Dragonborn. "I think his name is Johgar. He has offered to assist us. Scratching his head as his pseudodragon land on his shoulder Jhogar replied "Uhh, me not sure what going on but Jhogar will help nice people."
Eldar nods to Jhogar and turns to the little pixie. "What about you?"

"Me just follow you guys and smash who you want me to smash."
Eldar looks at the pixie. "Lead the way."

Without thinking Jhogar rushes inside the building with the ringing bell to try and find the cause of it.
