I am interested. I'm in the eastern time zone. I am newer to D&D, been playing PbP for maybe 5+ months. No D&D experience before than. I can usually post a couple times a day, but am also a new father so depending on the day, might be slightly lower.

Character Name: Breeze Race: Air Genasi Class: Monk Background: Hermit
Small Backstory: Breez was always a loner, never really made friends but always wanted to help out the elders around his hometown. He trained with the fellow monks in the village and used his love for air to help aid and guide him. Near the end of his training, the monks tell him that he is to go out and live on his own, to know what it is to be truly at one with the world. Afterwards he is to go out and help out others in need. After finishing his journey, he will have ended up running into the current group.
Looking at him, no matter what time of day, or what he's doing, it always looks like wind is blowing slightly through his hair.
Congrats on the babbie! Hate to tell you this but for the next 6-9 months you're going to be available to post 24/7! Make sure to always have some easy reading on hand and remember, you will sleep again! Eventually!
Lena was born into the thieves guild of Athkatla. Her parents were members and they trained Lena early to spy on others thinking other people would underestimate a little kid and a half-orc to boot. And so her parents became quite successful within the guild because of the information they gained from their daughter for a couple of years. One day someone within the guild found out about the little spy network and they organized a hunt for the couple however Lena had overheard what the guild planned. The family fled but were stopped in a back alley. "Lena, run" her father shouted and both her parents faced the pursuers. She ran a few feet away but the sound of her struggling parents were too much to ignore so she stopped and turned around to aee what happened. Her parents was cut down behind the gang of thieves and dragged their bodies away. No one paid any attention on Lena, who fell crying on the ground.
A door opened. A woman's hand touched Lena. An inviting hand. Lena took the invitation. Stairs upward in a tower of stone. Change of cloths. A mirror, Lena could hardly recognize herself as the reflection was that of a small wizardess in robes and hat and all. "What is that?" Lena asked her rescuer. "That is a spellbook, dear." was the reply. Lena had found her new mother, and a new destiny.
Lena of Amn, grew up in Athkatla, half orc wizard.
but am also a new father so depending on the day, might be slightly lower.
Congrats! I'm an old father and, honestly, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Kids are awesome! And, if you let them survive to adulthood, they give you grandkids which are even more awesome!
Hey WebGambit. This sounds like a lot of fun and if chosen would most likely play a fighter or druid based on the current party. I have not participated in a PBP before but I have a lot of experience with D&D. I used to play 2nd edition back in high school and most recently 5th edition in a few pick up games on Roll20.
I can commit to posting at least once a day if not more and look forward, if chosen, to role-playing with you all. Let me know if you have any questions for me.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Feeling more at home among the woods hunting and tracking giving himself over to his animalistic instincts. Balan made a living by hunting and selling furs, meats and the occasional odd job of clearing out troublesome monsters the roam to close to Waterdeeps populace.
