"Ah, Natasha!" Misha swelled with joy. "How I mees her so much! Would do anything to see her again, to let her know that Misha ees steel thinking of her." she was lost in a few moments of very pleasant memories. "I am gled she is ok. She was so unselfeesh and beautiful."

As everyone came down and got something to eat, Misha said. "Almost time to go! Eat up, steel hef a bit more to go before Baldur's Gate! And, we are all travelling together. Leaf no grof behind!" Misha turned to the innkeeper, waving goodbye. "Have a nice day!"

After several grueling days of travel through the wilderness, you’re finally back on the Trade Way. The last few days of travel have passed without incident. Today, however… you have a bad feeling about today. The sky is dark and cloudy and threatens rain. Even the air of the holy realm of Elturgard feels sickly on this day. Then you hear it. "I don't know if we'll get the opportunity to visit her on this mission but I have her address. We could send her a letter the next time we get to a town. "

"Excellent!" Misha beams. On the ground, you can see fresh footprints in the mud leading west into the hills.

"There are tracks leading into these hills. Following them will likely lead us to the source of the scream. Be on guard."

Meep nods and follows behind Jill, making sure to remain closer to the back of the group. "Is this... The best idea. Chasing after a scream when we don't know who or what caused it...?"

Misha latched into her armor and holding her hammer and shield, gave Meep a sweet look. "Yes!" she said simply, smiling. 

"All of us are capable fighters, we can deal with whatever the source of the scream is."

Amelia unsheaths her sword and dons her shield upon hearing the screaming. "Stay behind me and Meesh if you're scared of being hurt." She says to Meep, giving the little frog a grin.  "We're tough gals, we can take a hit or two."

"You can stay near me!" Corrin happily pipes in, drawing her bow. "I'll keep an eye out on you too."

When it looked like everyone was ready, Amelia lead the group forward to find the source of the screaming, keeping her eyes and ears peeled, the tiefling doing the same.

At the top of one of the barren, rocky hills near Triel are three weather-worn standing stones. These monuments were once a shrine to the Triad, the three allied gods known as Torm, Tyr, and Ilmater. These stones were forgotten after some ancient war, and their once-hallowed ground has been desecrated by a cult venerating the Demon Lord Orcus. The three stones are each twenty feet tall, and form a triangle fifty feet on each side. In the center of this triangle is a stone slab, just large enough to fit an adult human.

A half orc cult fanatic, four cultists, and two demon mastiffs are looming over an unconscious knight, stripped of his armor and very badly beaten. He has a horrible sigil carved into his chest - and within moments, the half orc cultist is about to sacrifice him for some unknown reason.

"It appears that we, how you say, arrived in the nick of time. Shall we put a stop to this while they remain unaware of our presence?"

Meep eyes the cultists for a moment before nodding. "Yeah okay. Surprise attack." She suddenly flicks her wrist and a bolt of fire shoots towards the main cultist, distracting him from murdering the knight.

Meep fires a bolt of hot death at the half orc cultist, and it smashes into him, and he roars in pain! Nice shot! If anyone else has a ranged attack they'd like to make before the proper round begins, you may execute now.

The sneak attack manages to buy the tormented knight just enough time for the Fanatic to stop the ritual! A demon mastiff snarls and bullrushes the group, snapping teeth and very angry.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Misha says, "Bad doggie!! Bad!" The masiff leaps and chomps at the Acheronian.

Misha manages to easily sidestep the charging demon dog, and with a swift swing of her shield right into it's face, the sound of bone cracking is heard as the mastiff's face violently meets Acheronian shield steel. It crashes to the ground dead, it's snoot completely smashed in. 

"Down boy."

Meep blinks in surprise at the force of her firebolt. "Huh... Nice... AH OH MY GOD BIG DOG!" She yelps and scampers behind the larger more armored of the group and peaks around them, waving her hand frantically as she mumbles quickly. Three glowing darts emerge from her body and she sends them blasting forward, two at the leader and one at the next closest target (cultist 1).

Nok Nok snarls back at the mastiff rushes the group. Raising his crossbow, he levels it at the beast.
