Nok then draws upon his eldritch energies to offer Jubilation's guidance to a few of his party members. With each touch, a splash of divine glitter-like energy bursts forth from his hand, dusting the recipient. Nok offers words of encouragement as he provides the Guidance, "Don't **** this up."
To sneak past a group of guards, each character (or pair) must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity (Stealth) check. This check is made with advantage at night or in fog.
To get to AREA V10, you have to make one check per pair of characters (assuming you all are sticking together.) This will give you enough time to reach the area and scout quickly before the patrol walks by you.

You all scooby snack sneak your way past the gates of the Villa entrance at night and shuffle quietly over to V10. There are no doors here, only closed windows that are curtained! It's difficult to see what's in the room and hard to tell from outside. Looking to your right, you can see the main entrance of at V3. There is a set of double doors there. Act quickly, the patrol will be passing by in about a minute or so.
Jill will use her Passive Perception of 12 to check the door for traps and if it's clear, she'll open the door and usher everyone inside reminding them to be quiet and get in before the patrols come back around.

Black curtains are drawn over the windows to the south, keeping this hall dark and cool. This gallery contains an eclectic collection of tapestries, paintings, and alabaster busts on pedestals. There is nothing else remarkable about this room. There is a stairway leading up, and from here you can explore V5, V8, or V9. You can hear noise of movement upstairs. A 6-foot-tall wax statue in one corner depicts Duke Thalamra Vanthampur cradling a cat with wings. The cat has a wax rat in its mouth. It's so life life it's startling.
"GAH!"Misha startles, covering her mouth after she realizes how loud she was.
"Hello?" a voice calls out from AREA 5. "Who is there?" Footsteps are approaching.
Jill just grabs Misha's hand and starts hauling ass upstairs, indicating for the rest of the party to move up with her, as she is in no rush to be here when those footsteps approach.

Everyone hauls ass upstairs, where you arrive in AREA V11. Lanterns hang from the rafters of this drafty hall. Five guards stand at attention by the doors in this hall. They turn to look at you all, and one of them yells, "Intruders! Attack!"
