Stepping forward Kaelani sees that the sword gives off a faint glow and hum as draws the sword from its resting place. He grips the hilt and feels the power of the blade infuse him.
Kaelani suddenly arches his back rises into the air a few feet as he is transformed into a heavenly, idealized version of himself, blessed with otherworldly beauty and a touch of heaven in his heart. Neither magic nor divine intervention can reverse this transformation. Your alignment becomes lawful good.
A beautiful pair of feathered wings sprout from your back that grant you a flying speed of 90 feet and the ability to hover. Your eyes become luminous pools of silver. You can see in normal and magical darkness, see invisible creatures and objects, automatically detect visual illusions and succeed on saving throws against them, perceive the original form of a shapechanger or a creature that is transformed by magic, and see into the Ethereal Plane, all within a range of 60 feet.

With the transformation of Kaelani complete the ground beneath your feet begins to rumble and the walls begin to quake. Suddenly the scab around the citadel explodes outward in blinding rays of light. Inside the Bleeding Citadel you are unharmed by the explosion and find yourselves suddenly under Avernus’s red sky. The ghost of Yael bids you good bye. "Now I must leave, I can aid you no longer. Do what you have come to do." She then fades away.
Lulu then speaks "Time to go! We must get to the city of Elturel and free it. I will take us there."
Before you have a chance to object you find yourselves being teleported away and a moment later you stand inside the city of Elturel near the High Hall
"We must find Zariel, she is here somewhere. That is her flying fortress that is docked nearby. The sword will draw her out I am certain of it." Lulu says
Near the edge of the city behind the High Hall you see a monstrous flying fortress

Moses is dumbfounded. So many strange happenings have taken place in such a short time! Be he still feels he has a job to do. I Am is still leading him along a path, so he checks himself, finds everything in order, and prepares to follow.
Kaelani tests out his new wings, flying about 30' up and slowly circling the party. He looks around the city-scape with his now-luminous eyes, searching out the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead creature within 60 ft. He holds Zariel's sword as he flies, which sheds a bright bluish-white light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet.
Tibi launches himself off after Kaelani watching him test out his new wings remembering that his family had always told him that "fledglings are at their most vulnerable when they first take to the air!"
Drabash swings his axes anew, feeling that he has developed further in his expertise with them. He is however concerned that things have happened in such a rush that he has not had time to tend to his battle wounds.

Hearing Drabash make a small noise, Moses finally focuses on the half-orc. "I'm sorry, mighty one. I got so caught up before that I forgot my duty." He lays a blue-scaled, clawed hand on Drabash's broad shoulder and says a short prayer. As Moses says the words, he sounds surprised, and the amount of power which surges forth causes Drabash to take in a deep breath. At the conclusion, Moses pulls his hand back, but remains alarmed. "Thank you, Lord," he whispers. A small smile curls the edges of his mouth and he gives the fighter a slight nod.
Kaelani notices a tightness as he flies, then turns his attention to the wounds he sustained in the last fight. Thanking the gods for their gift, he channels some of their power into his body to heal many of the gashes. (Using Lay on Hands for all 11 points on himself.)
As Moses lays his hand on his shoulder, Drabash faces him and smiles as the energy courses through his veins. "Thank you my friend," he says, "that feels better. If we have time a short rest would be in order, but if not we can continue to follow this through."

Tirohia te Moana - Level 2 Cleric - What shall we do with the Drunken Sailor?
Ebonitus de Viribus - Level 4 Cleric - The Storm King's Thunder - The Gods Respond.
As you stand near the steps of the High Hall trying to gain your wits and heal your wounds you hear someone approach at the top of the stairs. Looking up, weapons in hand and ready for a fight you expect to see perhaps Zariel and an army of fiends with her.
But instead, you see a friend and another you have seen before.
Standing at the top of the stairs is Reya Mantlemorn and next to her stands Ulder Ravenguard, Supreme Marshall of the Flaming Fist in Baldur's Gate. The man you saved from the cemetery and brought back to the High Hall
"Tibi! Drabash! Kaelani!" Reya shouts rushing down the stairs. "You are back, you are hurt! Where is Darvin?" The words pour out of her mouth so fast you can hardly keep up. But then she stops and her jaw drops.
"You have the sword! Come quickly inside! There is healing and rest within. Zariel is in the city somewhere."
Ravenguard follows Reya down. "Welcome back. This is the sword Reya speaks of eh? Let's get inside before you are seen. Though it is likely Zariel knows you are here. We still remain hidden in the catacombs beneath the hall."
Kaelani's glowing eyes follow their former comrades as they approach the party. He uses his new vision to look all around them, although he intrinsically trusts them and follows them inside. He will tell the story of how they were transferred into the old memory of Zariel - how they fought the gnoll god and almost lost - how they encountered Zariel before her fateful decision - and how he had come to be accepted by the powerful weapon to bear it out of its hiding place.
Moses stays still and quiet during the reunion. His reptilian eyes flit from person to person to judge expressions. When the group begins to move, the dragonborn follows as usual, silently praying for safety and guidance.
At the top of the stairs leading up to the cathedral, an archway opens into a long hall containing eight columns. Some of the columns have been carved to represent Torm, but the infernal magic of Avernus has warped the others to represent likenesses of a winged female devil wielding a luminous sword. The foyer holds two circular stairwells, each leading up. Decorated pillars here depict symbols and scenes representative of Torm. Curtains, some of them shredded by weapons and claws, separate this area from the heart of the cathedral.
An altar rests on a raised dais in this broad hall. Made of beautifully polished teakwood, it takes the shape of a gauntleted hand clenched into a fist. A large lever stands next to the altar, suggesting that it has some sort of mechanical function.
As you approach the altar Ravenguard bids you to touch it. "If Torm wills it you will be healed." then follow me.
If you touch the altar make a DC 15 Religion check. If you pass you regain all of your hit points.
Behind the altar Ravenguard activates a hidden switch and you see the same panel as before slide open. You descend the stairs into the catacomb.
(As a reminder, this is where Kaelani joined the group and Gilbert left. This happened in Dec 2020!)
Reya follows behind and secures the door. Down below they tell you of how they have fought battles, saved people and planned operations but have yet not figured out how to release the chains that hold the city in place.
"You likely have time for a short rest but nothing more. Zariel will come looking for you." says Reya
"You must entreat Zariel to redeem her angelic soul and take up her celestial mantle once more. Even though Zariel has fallen, there remains a faint glimmer of hope for her salvation. A fragment of the her former self still lingers within her sword." Lulu says "You must present her the sword. When she arrives, you must get close enough to her to present the sword and convince her to take it back."
"That will not be easy. She entered the city with an army. Who know what foul creatures will be with her. Getting close will be difficult." Reya adds.
"We will stand with you, a final battle for our souls and this city." Ulder Ravenguard adds.

Healing light pours over Kaelani as he touches the altar to Torm. He then follows the group into the secret area and contemplates his plan to confront Zariel while resting his body.
(Really?!? I had a 15, then added text after...that shouldn't have angered the dice gods!)
Moses scowls at the altar, tightens his grip on his staff with his right hand, and balls his left into a fist at his side. He moves past the altar quickly, giving it a wide berth.
