This is something she hasn't done since the time in her cell, and it felt good to let a war cry out. Building up her chant, she'd aim to inspire a fellow team member who's yet to strike. With one final stomp, she'd call upon a cloud of daggers to swirl into existence on the raiders.

As Vusgaar fires the missiles, the Voice throws up a hand, and a coruscating disk of dark red energy forms, the missiles impacting harmlessly against it. The Voice chuckles softly.
Somehow, the Voice avoids all of the attacks, in a sudden, dizzying display of skill and power, dodging some, letting others fall onto his armor, and imposing the disk of energy between himself and the fire bolt and one of the spears.

Unlike times prior, it seemed he struggled for a moment or two, but eventually is able to breathe a sigh of relief. "Break his fingers, and bind the limbs. This should limit ability to call upon that blasphemous magic of his." Vusgaar suggests as he drew closer to the main act. Lirika's blades slam back into their sheathes before she holds up a hand, and the shifters all move out of battle stances. "Fun," the female shifter says with a feral smile, remaining in her shifted shape along with the rest of her tribemembers. "Tel-Kin, go keep watch and make sure nobody surprises us. The wolf is always waiting." The bow-wielding shifter nods and takes off, cresting a rise to the north and settling into a low, half-crouched position, arrow on the string.
"Jhalaar, keep watch from the other side," Khern says curtly to the archer Edgewalker, who dips her head and goes to keep watch to the south, bow ready.
Lirika gives a look of distaste down at the fallen Voice, kicking the longsword out of his hands. "That qokking magic could've cost us the battle. If that's what we need to do to keep him from using it again, tear at the throat, and be done." She brings her heel down hard on his left fingers before stopping, a peculiar look on her face. "What the qok...I think he's got some kind of illusion up. Obviously not one he has to concentrate on."
