Talaak blocks the first hit while the second nearly bisects him, only keeping his body and consciousness intact through sheer anger. He spits blood, much more than he intended to, and grits his teeth as he grins at the Voice, "That's... it? I've taken worse... from a baby goat..."

Tired and no small amounts frustrated at his own efforts having done little to aid, Vusgaar materializes but a few feet off to the side of the remaining Kalaak, flinging several darts of captured magic with the flick of the wrist. While most slam and score barbarian flesh, a stray dart swung around for the voice.

Action: Cast (1st level)Magic Missile, inflicting 2 to the Voice, and times 2(from 2 darts) to the remaining Kalaak for 4 Force damage.

Knowing that the Voice is capable of dishing out massive amounts of damage, Demetrios moves into position to support Talaak. After its attacks, Demetrios gives the barbarian is a hard pat on the shoulder, channeling his final use of Lay of Hands. "Make it count."

The Voice ignores the magic missile completely, but the final Kalaak does go down.

Your first hit! The flaming blade chars the Voice a bit, and he responds by attacking, sneering at Deme. "Learn to stay down, fool."

Tired of having so much he's done end for naught, an at this point frustrated Vusgaar sent the Catican in to distract for Demetrios. "Hold still." He requests, just barely holding back a growl as he slapped a gauntled hand onto Demetrios' shoulder. Sparks of electricity and raw arcane energy crackle briefly into view upon contact, then sink in as various strange nodules on Vusgaar's gauntlet glowed along the back of the knuckles. Though rather than paralyze or harm, the finally modified bursts of energy would instead stimulate rapid cellular regeneration.

Action: Cast Rejuvanator on Demetrios, restoring 9 HP.

Demetrios manages to take the Voice's hit and remain standing, readying up an attack in rebutle until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He passes a glance to Vusgaar, almost in question, but at the sight of the quick spark of arcane energy, followed by a sudden hit of healing, he returned his gaze to the enemy with a grin wide on his face.

"Not a chance."

Talaak gives a shout as he feels energy flow back into him, swinging once more at the Voice.

Deme misses, but kachunk, Talaak's sword strikes home.

Ani will reach out to place a hand on Talaaks shoulder, sending healing to repair his wounds.

"At least he tries to walk the Path, you aberrations of life." Vugaar chimes in coolly as he molds and weaves another spell into being. This time he reigns in the power to its minimum, wishing more for predictable results, and unleashing.... a mote of spiritual flames to purge the wicked being!
