"So it sounds like." Vusgaar pushes off the wall to follow after the others. "Are there to be any preparations before nightfall? Any supplies here we should consider requisitioning for the task?" He asks calmly, meeting people gaze where he could, but otherwise steadfast in looking out for trouble. "I can bring some spellcraft to bear for the truly resilient. Though, even that will be limited."

"I'm capable of casting a few healing spells, but if you think that we need to purchase some potions, you can try. The more melee-oriented members of our group might seek to purchase a silvered weapon, if that sort of thing might help."

OOC: Your best bet for supplies would be the depot every village has or the Harmonious Shield barracks. The depot may have a potion or two, and the barracks would be your best bet for silvered weapons.

"For the sake of being quick, how about I head to the depot to get some potions and the rest of you go to the barracks to get weapons. Try and get a scimitar for me, please."

 Vusgaar at that point steps up beside Meira. "At least one should accompany, while others canvas the prior attack locations. Scouting out potential hidey-holes, or the like." He would said calmly. "I would do this myself in the company of the rest of you. But I have not the... spells prepared for such, nor is more nose quite as... sensitive as some other shifters." After addressing the others with that, he looks more pointedly at Meiara. "That said, I may be able to assist in picking up likely substances or potions to aid against the fiends at the depot. Time being what it is, we can ill-afford to waste it traveling wholly as a pack. Or so this is this one's assessment."

Vusgaar looks to Jenna and Demetrios with an almost expectant air about him.

 "Thank you Vusgaar. I am glad that you are willing to assist me with this and provide some company."

Demetrios stood guard by the door of the little girls room until the others had ceased their questioning, following behind them as they discussed their plan of action. He had agreed with Meiara in disposing the creatures as soon as possible, and of obtaining more equipment that could aid them in doing so. The paladin was just about to step forward and offer to keep the druid company, but Vusgaar beat him to it, though, this didn't bother him at all. "Very well," He nods in agreement with this arrangement. "We shall rendezvous back at the monolith by sun down." He then turns to the priest. "I know we've asked much of you already but would you mind pointing out where the village depot is for them to retrieve a potion or two? Then perhaps lead us to the barracks for some silvered weapons?"

Jenna patiently waited while looking around. She didn't speak much, but observed everything around her. She slipped her hand underneath her short tight black jacket and adjusted her knife belt for comfort, and simply watched as everyone engaged between each other with a soft peaceful smile.

Priest Olarin bows. "Of course." He gives you directions to the depot, then begins to lead those getting weapons towards the Shield barracks,

"Thank you. Demetrios, Jenna, Talaak, we'll see you later this evening. Please get me a silvered scimitar, if you can." Meiara makes her way to the depot, with Vusgaar following her.

Jenna watched Meiara and Vusgaar leave. After a few moments, she said. "So. What now."

"Follow me." Priest Olarin begins to lead you through the village. "I'll introduce you to the soldier I'll ask to escort you to the monolith ruins at the same time, if you still want to do that?"

“Yes, please,” Demetrios answers as he follows behind the priest diligently.

The priest leads you to the barracks.

Unfortunately, they do not have any silvered weapons there. However, the priest introduces you to Viira, the stone soldier who will be bringing you to the monolith. The young woman is friendly and slightly awed to be in the presence of Edgewalkers.

Depot luck: 5

The depot has two potion of healing.

Meiara bows before whoever is in charge at the depot. "Thank you, we will make sure that these are put to good use." And then she heads off to the monolith with Vusgaar, to wait for the others.

Talaak gives Viira a formal salute, "It is good to see another member of the Shield. Tell me, have you experienced the monsters in the area for yourself? I would like to know as much as possible before giving them a taste of my blade."

Viira shakes her head. "I've neither seen  nor heard the fiends on my patrols. But I was among the group who found...the children..." she says softly.

Demetrios frowned at the mention of the children. “That must have been a horrific sight for you to have seen...” He says solemnly then continues. “But we are here to make things right. Thank you for helping us on our mission, Viira.” He gives the soldier a bow. “Let us group up with the others before we head out.”

If there were no objections, he would lead them back to the monolith with the others, unfortunately, empty handed.

Viira nods to Demetrio and follows the rest of you towards the monolith.

Meiara waves to the rest of the party when they arrive at the monolith and addresses the newcomer that arrives with them. "Hello, my name is Meiara and this is Vusgaar. Who might you be?"
