“Very well.” Kazri will give Rhogar her Sending Stone. “Do let us know if anything else comes out of this well.” Kazri picks up her shield and weapon. Ready to deal with whatever is outside.

Chill watches the exchange between Rhogar and the others. He is about to say something to Rhogar and then stops. He then looks to Krom.
"I can take a shot at one of the boar's from a window maybe. Or they have left us alone so far, perhaps we search the rest of the house better and then deal with the boars"
"Let's search the rest of the house then, but if you do not mind, keep track of those boars. They have left us alone so far, but it may change soon so it is better to hurry." replies Krom to the Tabaxi.
The dwarf will then add "The orc mentioned that the half-orcs were planning an attack on Falcon's Lodge. Without the orcs maybe they will not proceed with their plan, but we should check the rest of the house and then go as fast as we can to that Circle of Thunder."
Before exiting the room, Krom will point his warhammer at the orc and say "What do we do with that orc? He is cleary not a menace for us, but if we let him go he may end to kill some innocent or do some other evil deed."
After the group deals with the orc, Krom will explore the rest of the house.
Chill ends the orcs life and its body falls to the floor dead.
Leaving Rhogar to his hacking of the tree that grows out of the well the party makes it way through the house making a thorough check of the rooms. Rhogar sees that as he hacks into the tree red blood flows like sap from the cuts.
The room Grannoc came out (W10) of used to be some sort of laboratory but it lies in ruins, its furnishings broken and heaped against the walls. In the middle of the room, painted on the floor with mud, is a ten-foot-wide symbol depicting three lightning bolts joined at their tips. You recognize it as the symbol of Talos an evil god of storms.
The next room (W11) has a ten-foot-high wooden balcony forming its upper level, reached by a wooden spiral staircase curling down to the flagstone floor. Tall, empty bookcases line the walls, their shelves mostly bowed and broken. On the lower level, east of two pillars, are four old desks with chairs tucked behind them. A few moldy books are scattered about. Looking about you find a small bag that contains a powder that looks like fine sand.
Upstairs the rooms are much the same as downstairs, the contents lying in moldy ruins. The only room of real interest was a bedroom (W12). A four-poster bed stands between two shuttered windows against the west wall. Other furnishings include a desk and chair against the north wall and an empty wardrobe against the east wall. A fireplace built into the south wall features an elegantly carved mantelpiece.
While checking the room carefully you find a secret door in one of the walls and inside hanging on a hook on the far wall is a handsome cloak that billows softly as the door opens. Against the north wall sits a wooden chest with tiny clawed feet.
"Well that cloak looks nice... " Chip would say looking to the fluttering cloak. "I bet a cloak like that would really add to my stage presence..." The dragonborn would add with a grin. As Chip moves to touch it, he stops and examines the chest. "Do any of you have a way to see if that chest or cloak are magic? I don't trust that chest... " He would say pointing to the clawed feet.
"I am only able to detect evil." Kazri replies to Chip.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krom trys to remember if the fine sand is used in some kind of ritual (Arcana7 + Guidance2 ).
As the group enters the secret room, the dwarf replies to Chip's question "I have not prepared the appropriate chant for detecting magic, but I may be able to check if that chest is at safe to open or not." Krom then quickly chants two hymns of transmutation (Thamaturgy two times),
(OOC Effect of Thamaturgy: the floor under the chest starts to shake for one minute and the chest, if unlocked, opens, together with anything else within 30 ft.)
While Krom chants the hymns, Kazri uses her Divine Sense on the chest. Afterwards, while the party is exploring the house, Kazri will try to keep an eye on Rhogar in case he needs help.

Chip will move towards the cloak as the chest is being further investigated. After looking it over, the brass scaled dragonborn will take it and sling it over his shoulders. "How do I look? Do I look dashing?" He would add with a toothy grin.
The garment hanging on the hook is a cloak of billowing and as Chip slings it over his shoulders it billows dramatically!
Chill is able to determine the chest indeed has no traps and in a few quick seconds he unlocks and opens it. Inside he finds, wrapped in a black cloth, a rod with a button on the end.
"Oh... my.... goodness..." Chip would whisper with a gasp. "THIS IS AWESOME! Way better than those boots I gave Kazri" He would say as he gives a twirl, showing off the cloak. He would then close his eyes and strain his face as he makes the cloak billow incredibly hard as though he were staining in a hurricane. "Yes.. this... this is great... " He would add.

Chill clicks the button on the end of the rod and suddenly finds that he can no longer move it. No matter how hard he tugs on it, it stays put. Letting go of it the rod it just hangs in the air, immovable. You realize that it is an immovable rod .

The chest is shaken and by the spell and you feel pretty confident that if there were any traps on it they would have gone off.

Chill, caring not for the risks of the action, picks up the rod and clicks the button to see what it does.
