Ghorar too had poised herself to strike should the boar try to run, her tail raised and its fins folded magically into a stinger. Krom, Chill, and Chip are each sent the rough image of the three eagerly snacking on boar meat.

"Their spells hit us pretty bad, especially you Chip, let me heal you before we proceed. We still have a few hours of light left, but after we should rest before reaching our next destination."
Krom chanting several hyms of healing touches Chip and Rekuberk.
"Lass, you should be able to cure some wounds too if we have to fight again before our next rest. Moradin's power is limitless, but unfortunately now I have the strength for only minor chants. We should take a brief rest before proceeding."
(*Since I removed the last spell that Krom casted, the forum is considering the post having manipulated dice rolls. Krom healed Chip for 16hp and Rekuberk for 10 hp.)

As Chips wounds are healed, a smile would spread across his face. "Thank you friend.. My muscles are still twitching from that shock" He would say with a smile. the dragonborn would then sit against a wall and play a tune on his lute while the group recovers from the fight and prepares for their next battle. Chip would play a song of rest as they relax. (everyone add 1d6 to hit dice recovered.
(@DM: Rhogar's is already at Full HP, but will recover the usual short rest stuff.)
As soon as the Orc boar falls, Ghorar floats on beside it to give it a quick jab of the stinger. She sends Rekuberk a feeling of being 'pleased'... right before she began trying to make a mess of her self in devouring parts of the fallen. As for the group's bronze compatriot, he eventually shows up again towards the end of the short rest, covered in ash and looking mildly pleased with himself.
"If we should find ourselves a druid or a few rangers in our travels, we should be sure to direct one of them this way. See that this home is passed along to a more GOODLY sort." He nods to himself. "Yes, yes! Someone perhaps capable of even further consecrating the land, so that it may yet not be used to sow such a horridness as that tree."

"I still don't know why he hated that tree so much" Chip would say to Ghorar ad she worked on eating part of the boar. He would then continue to play until everyone was ready to leave
"Because, dear Chip, it was not simply just 'a tree'. A thing so twisted as it, and to have such creatures among its roots clamor up as if to protect it is not something to just ignore. Why, I would never be able to face Brother Vixix again if I were to even entertain the thought." Rhogar boldly declared. "Of course, you could say they were ONLY defending themselves, and it was just happenstance the way things worked out. But you saw those figurines of wood depicting us, did you not? Did you not remember how they leaped and grew in size to attack us?"
Despite the question, Rhogar barely pauses for breathe prior to swiftly adding, "Whatever Dark Sorcery their weave benders have worked on this place has clearly warped some of the natural elements to this area. WHY, I have half a mind to go out to that field outside, and see it razed... But at this point, I believe it best things be for the more prepared for mending such things."

"So we're they werebeasts or perhaps some sort of evil druids as I have heard from my parents that they are able to change into the form of beasts." Rekuberk says as sits down to rest, leaning forward slightly.
Hit Die: 6
(That with Krom's healing should put me back to max.)
"I believe it was wise from Rhogar's part to eliminate that tree. It looked like an aberration to Nature to me." Say Kazri. "We should try to make haste to our next destination when everyone is ready."

"Good work with that evil tree Rhogar. Consacrating the land is unfortunately out of Moradin's influence, so it will be better to leave such matter to druids and rangers.", says Krom to Rhogar.
After the party has rested the dwarf will say, "Let's proceed with haste towards the Circle of Thunder, we may still have to face a few more wereboars or evil druids so it is better to be prepared."
If the group does not do anything else, Krom will march to the Circle of Thunder.
Rhogar actually puffs out his chest somewhat and nods eagerly in agreement. Then, as if seeming to remember his most recent disposition to most of the party, he tries to put on a stern appearance; only to fail miserable at fully suppressing a grin. Eventually, he brushes off trying and just says, "Right -- well, I'm ready to go as well. The sooner this menace is dealt with, the sooner we can get back to our other objectives."

"i don't think they were werbeasts because our ordinary weapons injured them. Some were likely normal boars, the others shape-shifters. That's probably why he didn't seem to cast a spell to change into the shape of a boar. We'll face more like them I fear. "
"That they will. It is fools like them that make people like me feared for no other reason then some of us are a bad example. Let us show them the punishment for their crimes and let whichever gods they pray to handle the rest." Rekuberk says as he moves to join rest of the party, his face serious.

Chip would also swing down his battle-lute towards the boar if it gets away.
"Let's end this, if he escapes we may have further troubles at the Circle of Thunder." Krom continues to grapple with all his strength the boar.

Rekuberk swings his blade down to kill the boar.
Greatsword: Attack: 24 Damage: 8
Rekuburk drives his blade blade down and cleanly removes the head of the boar.
The half orc flicks the blood off of his blade, shaking his head as he looks to the rest of the group. "That was a rather hard fight..."
