"Thanks!" Chip would exclaim with a cough as he catches his breath after being dropped from the tree. He would then look up to Kazri and shout "Hold on! We'll get ya down" As he offers a healing word8. He would then draw his own hand axe from his belt and begin chopping away at the root of the tree holding Kazri!
Rekuburk, despite his great strength, is unable to break Kazri free from the roots. Krom and Chip hack at the roots holding Kazri down and are able to free her.
As Kazri is finally free from the roots, Krom says "Are you ok lass?", he then addresses the group, "We should try to destroy this cursed tree, those half-orcs were using this place for some evil rituals. I wonder where all the other half-orcs went. After we finish here we should head back to lodge, the remaining half-orcs may be attacking it as we speak."
As Kazri falls to the ground, Chip would immediately begin chopping the base of the tree with his hand axe with a grunt. "Now I hate boars and trees..... great..
Kazri falls to the ground on her knees, breathing hard. It's like a fog has been lifted, and she is able to see clearly now. Her golden medallion is still bright, but it has dimmed substantially. "Thank you my friends."She says, collects her equipment, and gets up.
(OCC: Does Kazri still have an action for this round?)

"Agreed."Stated Rhogar, who at the time had taken to closely watching Kazri for any sudden movements. Though he seemed to have taken somewhat of a defensive posture as well, it is clear in the Bronze's expression, that it was done so with some reluctance. "We must finish the job... Though perhaps Kazri would wish to stand outside the circle, as it seems to have affected you a great deal."He adds, and then in risking a look to Krom adds, "'especially considering that, if this tree is as hardy as the one from last, it will take time. Time we can barely afford with potential threats at our backs." The last few words are said after turning on Kazri once more, giving her a pointed look.

Looking at Rhogar, Kazri's heart skip a beat, for she is ashamed of her momentary lapse. She was thinking in explaining herself, but chose not to. "Agreed, Mr. Nimbatuul. I believe it is best for me to step out of this cursed circle. I shall keep watch while you all deal with the tree." Deep inside, Kazri knew it was her fault that she had lost control of the situation, and that it should not have happened. Kazri scans the area beyond the clearing for any threat. (Perception: 9)

Rhogar expression softened, if but for a moment. Yet, as soon as heard the sound of people hacking into the tree, it hardens again as he turns back on the tree. "Let's try this while we're at it." He states as he sucked in a deep breathe near the end, held it, then spat out a golden flame of divine energies at the figures tied to the tree. Only the one however to test a reaction.
With some time and effort you are able to fell the burnt dead tree and it topples with a crash. Silence fills the clearing as the last reverberation of the sounds of its fall disappear.
As the tree topples, Krom says "That is the sound of a work done well my friends!", he then adds "Since it seems that there are no more threats here and we did not find any signs of the half-orcs, I suggest we return to Falcon's lodge." Krom puts back his axe and grasps his warhammer as he readies himself for the march.
Rhogar, who had taken to keeping an eye on Kazri while catching his breathe towards the end, turns frowning slightly on Krom. "Forgive me, Master Krom. But this cannot be the circle of thunder... can it?" He asked worriedly as he looked around the area. "I had been expecting.... well, a storm, at least. Or at least one more of those magic wielding mad men here, defending such a place of importance. Not some cursed tree in the middle of the woods, and with a few paltry tricks to defend itself." He confesses while scratching at the side of his neck in idle irritation. "Do we -- Is this where the directions led truly?"
