Chip would limp along behind his companions... leaving a small trail of blood as he strums on his lute. "hi ho.. hi ho... into the lightning mound we go...."
"Perhaps where the last Anchorite (Yargath - right) came from?"Kazri readies her shield and flail and starts walking towards the entrance.

While Rhogar guts the huge boar the rest of the party explores the 3 caves found by Chill.
Each cavern appear to be the lodgings of the anchorites that were at the Circle of Thunder
C2. Northwest Cave Carved into the lintel stone above the cave mouth is a picture of a boar chasing after a stick-figure humanoid.
Inside you find little of value but a single potion.
C3. Northeast Cave The lintel stone above the mouth of this cave is bare.
Within this cavern, hidden below the bed is a finely crafted shield
C4. Southeast Cave Carved into the lintel stone above the mouth of this cave is a pictograph depicting three stick-figure humanoids being struck by lightning.
Within this cavern you find a small ring.
Little else of value is found in any of the caverns.
Looting the bodies of the orcs and dead anchorites you collect the typical orc gear of hide armor and 10 javelins and several battle axes and 2 sets of unusable plate mail armor.
You also find 47 gold pieces and 179 silver pieces.
Kazri takes the shield and gives it to Krom. "It is only fair that you keep the shield Master Krom."

"So we found a potion, a ring, and a shield" Skip would add as they join back up with Rhogar. "I mean.. I am always willing to take some additional pieces of flare to add to my stage presence.. "The dragonborn would add as he looks to the ring. "But whoever thinks they can make the best use of these items can have them." He would add as he moves to position himself next to a rock and continue strumming on his lute.
Aside from pausing briefly to greet everyone with a wave, Rhogar had every intention of staying focused on the task at hand. Already he can envision the masterpiece of a meal the giant boar would serve for the party, and refused to lose sight of it. Though as his mind drifted down that path another thought began to occur to him. Half in and out of it, he merely grunts over talk of loot distribution, and his opinion on the matter.
(@DM: Odd question, and the answer is likely 'there's no way possible', but... could Rhogar try to absorb any lingering magical essence from the Boar to upgrade his own abilities? Like adding an extra d6 to his dragonbreathe, or a on short rest recharging lightning smite of some kind? And if so, what sort of check it would be)

Unfortunately no. Technically Gorthok is a primal nature spirit that takes the form of a boar so when you killed him the spirit departed leaving just the dead boar because you guys needed bacon and pork chops for dinner tonight.
"For now we should stay here and rest. Despite my love of a good fight I do not think I could handle another one this day." Rekuberk says as he leans on his sword to hold himself up.
"Hm? Sure. Dinner should be ready within the hour. Though if any planning to burn or bury those Orcs, now would be a good time before they really start to stink." Rhogar comments on as Ghorar flutters over and back onto the dragonborn's shoulder. "That, and... figure out if those are all that special. I cannot imagine not, but... be careful. If there are any dark sorcery tied to those things, they TOO will need to be destroyed as well."

"That is a nice shield indeed, lass, but as Rhogar said before using that or any of those items, we have to be sure that they are infused by dark sorcery or not. I will examine the shield while we rest tonight." says Krom while getting ready to taste some bacon and pork chops. "We should take shelter in one of those caves, it will be easier to defend ourselves." adds the dwarf.
(OOC The following scene plays after our party eats dinner and prepares to rest for the night.)
Krom finishes to eat his share of pork "Well done Rhogar, that was delicious, you are a fine cook indeed!", the dwarf stands up, gathers from his pack the smithing's tools and moves towards the fire with a couple of the looted battle axes under his arm.
Chanting an hymn of creation, the dwarf uses his tools to carefully place the battle axes in the small fire. The fire should not be enough to melt the battle axes, but nevertheless the metal becomes white-hot and melts. A smiling Krom takes the melted metal and makes five small balls from it. After a few minutes the dwarf adds into each ball a few gold coins that melt immediately.
Nodding to himself, Krom takes his tools and starts to chip, bend and pull each gold-infused balls into small humanoid shapes. After about one hour, the party can listen Krom saying "Moradin be praised."
A smiling Krom walks towards each member of the group with a small bundle of items and gives to each of them a tiny steel statue.
"Chill, for you."
"Chip, this is for you."
The dwarf walks towards Rhogar and says "For you, I hope you like it."
"Thank you very much friend!" Chip would reply with a smile. "I admit, this is better than anything I have managed to carve since we have been together." He would add as he holds the figure up close to his eye, inspecting every detail.
Rhogar somewhat awkwardly and rather quietly thanks Chill for passing along his cut of the coin. In exchange, once the food was ready, he made sure to pass along the juicier swathe of meat to the Tabaxi, alongside an almost, ALMOST apologetic smile.
"But you will keep at it, Chip. Or so I hope. Ghorar was looking rather forward to your next attempt." Rhogar comments on while idly studying the figure in hand. "And you have my thanks, Master Krom. I see you couldn't quite get the fin, but it is a fair likeness."As he is saying that, Ghorar clamors her way onto the figure holding hand for a closer look, sniffs at it a few times, and then finally nips it out of his hands. "Oi! That's -- I mean yes, it bears your image as well. But-..."He sighs in defeat after his halting and seeming one-sided conversation with the psuedodragon.
While she once more takes to standing on a shoulder next, hugging her latest prize to her chest, a bemused Rhogar turns back to the party. "In any event. We should make sure to keep to our watches tonight. We've done a great deal of good today. But let's not get TOO overconfident."He chuckles, and would later on commit to taking Third watch.
