As his companions scramble aboard with their gear, Edeleth keeps an eye on the strange Fey. While he tends to trust wood elves, forest gnomes and fey creatures more easily than others, being used to them from his homeland, it strikes him as oddly coincidental that this person would appear just after they had discovered the hidden cache. If the Fey is one of the gang who placed the cache and maps where it is, he might be trying to derail their efforts to warn the Jarl.
Edeleth tries to gauge the Fey's true motivations. Insight: 6
At any rate, if the Fey acts up during the journey, Edeleth can simply have the owl drop him. If he gets into the Jarl's presence and attempts to attack him or acts crazy enough, he might discredit them all and their warnings will go unheeded.

Rosri climb up behind Zyman and grab hold of him hard. “Wooaa” he exclaim when the giant bird moves. “We should be off now. Every minute counts.”
Rosri dislike the idea of flying, but he knows he must be the one contacting the guild. No one else can do it but him. And if he can manage to get more information on Thardax or Artaxes that would be invaluable for their group and maybe even the war..
He also dislike the idea of traveling with a fey, but if what he say is true, then the threat from the red lord is much greater then any of them anticipated.. and that scare the crap out of him.
Zyman kept thinking to himself that, if the fey stranger were to try another attack on one of their group, he might be able to hold him using his arcane poweres, much like he did with the kobold. Almost immediately after, he reminds himself to be careful about falling prey to the lure of the dark arcane powers he commands.

Edeleth senses genuine fear and exhaustion in the Fey. He displays the symptoms of someone who has been on the run for at least a few days...
"Sorry for the scare....I've been a bit paranoid since my rescue from the Gnoll Band in the FeyWild...if those Adventurers hadn't been there, I probably would have ended in a tasty dinner for those Hyenas...you folks actually remind me alot of them...the name is Zathka, by the way..."
The Fey scrambles on top of one of the Owls, limping...
As the Heroes mount the Owls and take off in the Thunderstorm, they notice intense fighting happening a few miles East....Spell explosions and the echoes of blades clashing in the distance....screams and war cries...
Roscoe seems rather bewildered by the sudden presence of the Fey. He quickly calms as he listens to the creature's warnings. Things were definitely going from bad to worse if what he says is true. Not wanting to miss a rise on an owl, Roscoe climbs on and holds on with excitement and a bit of fear. Being a halfling has never really afforded Roscoe the higher vantage of the taller races and he'd spent most of his time on the open plains. To say that the heights took Roscoe by surprise would be an understatement. Still, he did his best to enjoy the flight.
As Roscoe sees the signs of battle below, he feels a bit of regret that he didn't stay and fight. It made him feel a sort of coward flying away from battle, but the mission that Rosri was tasked with was more important than the war of these people.
Rosri closed his eyes when the owls took flight, but over the wind whining in his ears he hear the distant explosions of battle. Once during the flight he opened his eyes to see what it was like to be so high up, but quickly closed them again when he saw all the ant sized people far far down.
The fury of nature above, and the fury of war below, Edeleth thinks wryly. If the mission wasn't so urgent, and if he was fresh and rested, he would be tempted to make a detour and call the lightning down on the enemy forces. That will not be an option. His magical abilities are growing faster than he had ever imagined, but they have been stretched to the limit today, and it will be all he can do to get his people to the Jarl's castle.
He looks around to make sure his companions are having no difficulties, and takes an extra moment to examine Zathka. (OOC: 'Fey' covers a lot of territory. I am assuming Zathka is more or less elf-like?)
Then he turns forward again. The situation is dire, their message is a terrible one, his head is still an aching mess, and the flashes of lightning and battle play havoc with his night vision. Still, this may be one of the most exhilarating experiences of his life.

While Roscoe enjoyed the view and the connection with the beast, having his large feet planted back on the ground was quite the relief. "That was great!," he exclaims once he's settled.
Edelth stands beside the giant owl he rode, one hand still resting on its wing. "Thank you for bringing us so far and so quickly,"he says. "You may have helped save the lives of uncountable innocent creatures." It is with great regret that he sees the beautiful creatures dissipate into nothingness.
He supposes that at any moment, guards will rush them and demand to know their business, and they can ask to be taken to Jarl Hammerthorn. But until then, they may as well make use of their feet. Helping the limping Zathka along, he heads for the stairs downward, following Zyman and Roscoe.

Roscoe's comment reminds Edeleth of his own home, and as usual he feels a wave of homesickness. Oddly, though, it does not seem as strong as it used to. Perhaps because he has found new purpose for his life outside Lomalos. Or perhaps, because he now has a team of such heroic and reliable friends.
"I still want to see your wilderness someday, when all this nonsense is over,"he adds.

Even after the bird landed Rosri is locked on to it and it takes Zyman a few tries to get him down. It takes him another couple of seconds to calm down enough to remember his mission.
“I’ll be off then! See you back at the hanging chicken!” He waves to them when he leaves. “Good luck!” Is the last thing you here from him as he exits the gate.
Once out on the streets he will use his skills to find someone to take him to the guild master.
Edeleth, Roscoe, Zyman and Zathka land on the Granit Palace's Parapet, and are immediately greated by a host of guards pointing weapons at them. "This is an Unsanctionned landing! State your business immediately!"
Zathka, limping and holding on to Edeleth, pulls out a small pendant from his shirt, and shows it to them. "We need to talk to the Jarl. Now." The Guards immediately back off.
"This way please..."
Our Heroes are led through the Palace's maze of stairs and hallways, to the Jarl's private quarters, where he sits at a large stone desk, in casual robes, peering over a large pile of paperwork...
The guards salute him.
"Jarl Hammerstone, Me' Lord, an Alliance Secret Service Agent is here te' see ya' !"
Hærad Hammerstone looks up and wonders at the beat up Fey...
"By Moradin, what happened to you?"
Zathka limps forth...
"Sir, there has been a breach...the Planar Seals have been shattered, and these Lands are now fully exposed to all the Parallel Planes: the Underdark, the Shadowfell, the FeyWild, the Elemental Planes...If we do not restore the Seals soon, all of Talaveroth could be overrun!"
The Jarl pauses...
"I'm sorry, but who are you, again?"
The Fey blushes with annoyance, still squinting in pain...
"I am Zathkataliendim Felaminathien, Alliance Secret Services working for General Thanika "Stonewall" Maeke of Mastandia and the 1st Alliance Legion, based in Melassone. Younger brother of Rathkataliendim Felaminathien of the Northern Allied Fey Tribes, Grand Admiral of the entire Alliance Airforce. Now, is that enough titles for you? Or can I move on to the part where I tell you to get off your ass, and make an official call for Backup! You overprideful Bureaucrats forget that there is an ENTIRE INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE ready to help you deal with this threat. But only YOU can make that call!"
Hærrad Hammerstone stands up, staring the Fey in the face. The guards step a bit closer, hands on weapons...
Meanwhile, Rosri finds his way through the City's underbelly, to the Thieve's Guild's Headquarters, hidden in the Sewers...the Guild Halls are unusually empty of people AND goods...and smeared in blood...after a short walk through the halls, Rosri finds the Guild Leader, along with his 3 main generals....dead....with their heads open...Rosri may roll a medicine check DC15 to determine what happened to them...also, he needs to roll a Stealth check...
As he goes through the empty halls of the guild his reflexes kicks in and he start to keep to the shadows. When he sees the guild leader and his generals dead on the floor he halts, look around and start to shake. Who could have done this?
