I know that but I thought you would have given her some thing like you had 2000+ GP. Also What will Tomoe do now?

(I had actually forgotten I had not given her anything until the fight started. Any suggestions on another way to "safely" level Mystery?)

(Hm... Yes. You can have Mystery spend 2 weeks and 2000 GP + (Lifestyle costs for 2 weeks) to level up to level 2. During these two in-game weeks, Mystery will not be available.

(Other than that, you can do other things without mystery to get back up to 3000 GP, buy another Revival potion and try the arena again)

Story wise, I think I'll let mystery get settled in with her new environment. Is Ingrid usable again ? If so, we could go monster hunting g for some cash. Or check the job boards. I think I'll check the job boards either way and then buy some new gear for Mystery. I would also like to take her to the seamstress and have an outfit made to mark Mystery as belonging to Tomoe clan so noone will try to mess with her. 

Yes Ingrid is usable again. Strangely she does not count to the max of 4 people in a party. So it is possible to have a 5 man party now.

It is late tonight... which means this is the perfect time for a job hunting. You are getting an offer that seems to be of an interesting importance:

A girl with long red hair and black leather armor asks a task of any one person. They are to enroll in the house of a noble man under the guise of a maid. During the afternoon 3 days from tonight, they are to plant a small magical bomb in a place that won't be discovered easily. Then they are to flee the scene. The noble in question is a high ranking member of House Serpent. Getting caught will result in the whole house turning against that person. It will pay really well. 2000 GP up front and 8000 GP upon completion.

Tomoe would ask what the noble did to deserve getting a bomb planted in their house.

The girl informs her, "It's... complicated. I can't let you know exact details. Just know that it is for something bigger."

Tomoe will turn down the girls job. I am sorry, but it is not a risk I am willing to take. 

Addressing the group Tomoe suggests we go monster hunting. Mystery, you will come, but stay back behind the rest of us. It may be quit dangerous and you do not have the experience as we do.

Mystery nods her understanding. Tomoe will make sure Myster is equipped with proper starting gear.

Alright then. Just go ahead and buy starting equipment and mark off the gold according to the PHB prices.

Kate mentions, "Um... Tomoe, it's getting kinda late and it might not be a good idea to go hunting in the woods at night."

The red haired woman nods and looks Tomoe over and asks, "Tell me, what is your name miss?"

Tomoe responds to the girl, You may call me Tomoe.

In response to Kate. You are right. And I will need to get Mystery some equipment when the stores open anyways. Let's retire for the night and wait for Lucia to return.

The woman says, "Tomoe. Well... we hope to meet again Tomoe." She leaves.

Kate responds, "Well, I think you can find some stores open now but most of the shop would be open by 7 AM"

You head back and Lucia doesn't return the rest of the night.

The next morning, whenever Tomoe wakes up, she notices Ingrid is up already. She still has the dark circles under her eyes, the pale skin and the tired look. She greets Tomoe enthusiastically, "Good morning Onee-chan. Did you sleep well?"

Sleep is always better with someone you love warming your bed, but I managed. Tomoe referring ofcourse to Lucia still missing. How well did you sleep?

Ingrid says, "I... didn't really sleep that well last night. I had trouble falling asleep."

I expect it is a side effect of so much healing magics. I do hope it goes away in time. 

Ingrid says, "Yeah... I hope so too. So what are we doing today?"

We need to go shopping to make sure my little Mystery is properly equipped. I got too hasty and she was almost killed in the arena. Hopefully Lucia will be done with her errand today and we can go monster hunting and maybe get her some practical experiance  before testing her again in the arena.

"Alright. Let's go do that." Ingrid agrees.

You buy the equipment. (Just add it to her sheet and reduce Tomoe's gold by the total price according to PHB prices)

Lucia comes back in the evening looking extremely tired. She yawns and says, "Sorry it took so long. Had to shift through a lot of police records. There are about 30-50 gang members in the base but most of them are usually out doing various tasks. We can expect 12-25 people inside at any given time. I think it will be like having 3-4 waves of battles."

Tomoe lovingly embraces her girlfriend upon her return. Welcome back. We should be ready to relocate now.  After Lucia explains what she learned Tomoe says What kind of time frame are we looking at to most safely raid Boss Rats hideout?
