With a sudden surge of strength, Mystery kicks open the door and runs into the South East mausoleum. As she picks up the medallion, instead of the coffin opening and a undead crawling out, it instead explodes and a vortex of negative energy forms in its place. The Vortex is harmless to undead but any non-undead would have their life energy progressively sucked away by it should they stand in it for too long (Whenever you start your turn there, you take 1d10 Necrotic damage). The south part of the mausoleum collapses under the force of the vortex. Debris are lain across the stone floor of the ruined building, making it hard for people to move through (difficult terrain) Mystery runs as fast as her legs can carry her towards the north building. From the Vortex, the rotting carcas of a ogre rises.In its hand is a large club that has a very menacing looking bone spike on it. Mystery runs away towards the final building as fast as her legs can carry her. The ogre raises its weapon to strike the fleeing tiefling down but the magical runes makes it decide against it. Not wanting to squeeze through the door, the ogre instead shambles towards the angel.
Glory gains a surge of divine fury. She cuts the kobold in front of her in half. Then she flies towards the Runner like a missile and impales it on her sword. The last Kobold shoots at Glory but the angel catches the bolt in her hand and then she tosses it back charged with divine light. The bolt flies toward the kobold trailing a ray of light and explodes on impact. shattering the skeleton and causing yet more ash to snow down. The void glows again like lightning as two more ghouls appear out of the ground; one closer to the angel and the other closer to Mystery's intended route. The with a loud boom, a part of the north west mausoleum collapses as well as another dark vortex is opened. This time a skeleton minotaur clad in Hide armor and holding a Great Axe climbs out. It roars.
Mystery continues to run for the last building but her legs begin to get tired and she slows down. Just as she is 10ft away from the doors, the ghoul leaps on to her. Mystery puts her hand up and the Protection Rune that she had cast repels the ghoul. Still full of divine power, Glory makes U-turn mid air. As she flies by one of the ghouls, she chops its head off with her radiant blade. She then flies close to the minotaur and sticks her sword into its chest. The Minotaur howls and swings its massive axe but Glory blocks the attack with the sword of light.
Tomoe doesn't notice anything weird about this battle. Mystery's turn.
