Chronero - Single Player DnD

She will look for something she can throw at him along the way and take the east fork.

She picked up the empty barrel that was knocked over. She goes to the east path and ends up in a familiar place. She went in a circle and ended back near the metal shard filled room.

What does Kate do?

Backtrack and take the other path, watching for more traps and barrels that he could kick over at her. IF she happens to get into a decent range she will reaction/held action throw the barrel at him.

She gets within range and manages to actually intercept him.

Roll reaction attack and action attack.

Trailblazer dodges the barrel only to be cut down by Kate's great sword. As her opponent is carried away and stabilized by arena staff, Kate sighs and says, "Finally. Took long enough."

She is awarded 700 GP for the fight, which is handed to Tomoe.

Tomoe tries to decline. You should keep that. You did all the work for it. You should by yourself something nice and probably take a personal day to relax. 

Ingrid ,who didn't fight and was able to be part of the crowd a little bit is ecstatic. A quick fight as always Onee-sama. Did you get to see any of Kate's fight? That jerk kept running away. But Kate hunting him down and beat some sense into him. She is amazing! 

Kate reluctantly takes the cash back and says, "Whatever you say." (For the record, Tomoe didn't get to watch Kate's fight)

"So..." Kate says, "Should we head home now?"

I suppose there is nothing else to do today. Do you think we are safe enough to go to a restaurant for dinner tonight? Or is it too late for that ? 

Kate says, "Yeah, I think we can find one of the late night restaurants open."

Then i think we should catch up with Lucia and celebrate our victory of the night, if you are up for it?

"Sure... Why not." Kate says. See still seems to be in a sort of unenthusiastic mood over what happened with Kyle.

You meet up with Lucia at base and head to a Tavern. There are all sorts of people here and unsurprisingly, there's no tieflings here.

Tomoe is in the mood to drink. She orders a round of drinks, except for Ingrid as she is still under age. ( she is under the legal drinking age right?)

She will also order the biggest cut of steak they have. Ingrid orders something similar. 

(Yes. Legal drinking age is 18)

They bring the order and Lucia chats, "I heard things went well Chief. So what's our plan for tomorrow? Same as last night?"

Tomoe partakes in some alcohol. If you are right, then yes. We let them come to us and spring a trap. Try to catch them off guard and cut them down.  Starting to get tipsy she says Maybe we can just keep letting them come to us. We seem to be making more progress killing their bosses that way.  

"Er... about that." Lucia says, "I thought about something while you were at the arena. He sent assassins after us time and time again and he was unsuccessful. The Boss seems smart so I wonder if it's wise for us to assume he's going to try the same thing. He might try something different."

And that is just one reason why i love you so much. Tomoe says as she gives Lucia a big kiss. We should expect more. Maybe more obnoxious spell casters. Although you punched that last one right in the jaw. Shut her up. 

Ingrid notices that this dinner is not exactly going "well"

Tomoe is getting drunk, Lucia seems to be too worried and stressed about her opponent's next move. Ever since the stunt they pulled last time, it seems she feels she has met a worthy opponent in terms of mental aptitude. Kate seems to have stopped caring and is just eating quietly.

So uh..Kate, what kinds of things do you do for fun around here? Ingrid is going to try to steer the conversation and probably fail to get everyone's minds to relax and have fun.
