Chronero - Single Player DnD

She searches around the city but doesn't find the man. When all hope seemed lost, she sees the man in the distance. As she tries to approach him, the man seems to get further and further away from her without even moving. It's as if the road itself is stretching. Soon Tomoe and Mystery find themselves in front of a dilapidated building made of wood. Looking around neither of the two can figure out where they are. She hears the voice of the elven man as a whisper in her head, "Leave the Tiefling to wait outside. Enter Alone." 

Tomoe takes out a patch emblem of her house Crest. I need to leave you here. If anyone gives you a hard time show them this and tell them you are a personal servant to the first daughter of the Gozen clan of Edo.

Tomoe leave Mystery and enters.

Tomoe enters the building. The inside is well-decorated and well-furnished compared to the outside. The elven man meets Tomoe in the building. He says, "I take it you have decided to reunite with your lost loved one?"

I need to know more. There has to be cost. What must I give up to get them back?

The man shakes his head and says, "Only that you promise to not speak of our meeting."

Tomoe will try to read him to see if he is lying

You don't think he's hiding anything/lying.

I ..do not want to lose her. If all it takes is for me to keep your secret, then it shall be done. But she is still at the other temple.

The man then nods and says, "Then I'm afraid you must get her back and bring her to us... we require the body to return the soul." The man points you toward the exit door.

Tomoe nods and heads towards the exit.

Opening the exit door, and stepping out, she finds herself inside a stone house instead of the outside. Re-opening the door she just stepped out of reveals a small broom closet. The doors and windows are boarded up but there is one window where the boards are outside. Stepping out Tomoe finds herself emerging from a small stone hut in the slums. Mystery is waiting outside.

From Mystery's perspective, Tomoe had stepped into the large wooden building and then the building disappeared. Shortly after the whole world went blank and she found herself waking up in front of this stone hut moments before Tomoe stepped out of the window.

I do not know if this is a good idea, but I do not know how else I can handle this.

Mistress, I do not trust this.

This may be my only chance to get my sister back.

Tomoe take Mystery to the temple of Abphany to retrieve Ingrids body.

Here's a very special theme to go with the mood of what you're about to do.

Going back to the temple of Abphony, the Cleric says to you, "We have completed embalming the body." They lead you to a coffin where Ingrid is being kept. The casket is open and Tomoe can see her sister lying inside it. A small scarf has been wrapped around her head to keep her jaw closed while also looking presentable. Her eyes have been closed. From a distance, one would assume she is asleep if it were not for the twist in the skin where her neck broke and the scarring. The Casket is closed and Tomoe and Mystery are allowed to carry it out of the Temple.

Going back to the stone hut, Tomoe notices that the door is no longer blocked. Opening it, She sees the interior of the strange wooden building. The Elf, now accompanied by a group of other individuals of different races and genders, says with a smile, "Please leave the Tiefling behind. We can carry the casket." At this a young human boy, no older than 15 and a female Hobgoblin, both in cloaks step out and carry the casket with Ingrid's body inside. The elf motions for Tomoe to enter as well. As Tomoe does so, the door closes behind her.

The two people carry the casket up the stairs while two others, a tiefling male and a aged Yuan Ti stand in front of the stairs. The elf approaches Tomoe with some ink, a pen, a small knife and a contract. He says, "The last thing you need to do to finalize your decision is to sign this contract. Once you do so, there is no going back. Once you sign your name, simply prick your finger and place a bloody finger print on the paper. Once you do so, we can begin the ritual and we will also answer any question you have. You are free to read the terms and conditions of the contract."

Tomoe would read the contract 

The contract states the following:

By signing this contract, the first party, Party A, declares that they, in their own free will, have cooperated with Party B to resurrect a lost loved one. In exchange for this, Party A will not disclose anything said, heard or observed of Party B. Party A must, at all costs, not disclose Party B. This includes denying the existence of Party B at all costs. This includes hiding their involvement with Party B from even closest friends and loved ones. The only ones allowed to know of Party B's existence is the Party A who signed this contract and the sister who has been brought back. Party B may tell others of themselves and of this interaction according to how they see fit. Party A will not be held accountable for any people that learn of this meeting either through Party B, their own investigation or of a third party unaffiliated with either Party A or Party B. In return for Party A's agreement of secrecy, Party B will return the sister of Party A, who by being brought back, will also be subject to the terms and conditions of this contract. Once the sister is resurrected, Party B has held their end of the deal and Party A must continue to maintain their agreement to not disclose Party B to anyone. To reiterate, Party B will return the sister of Party A to her. In return, Party A and her sister will hide any knowledge they have of party B and dealings with them at all costs from everyone. This contract is magically binding and it is magically enforced. Violation of this contract will incur severe punishment on the offending party. This punishment may include but is not limited to death.  

DM: Basically the contract says that Tomoe must not say anything about her meetings with the elf and his friends or the ritual or any conversation she has with them. If she breaks this promise, she dies.

There will not be any tricks, such as demon soul taking her body and posing as her yes?

The man says, "No demons. It will be her own soul in her own body. No demons or devils or other fiends involved."

I wish to have that in the contract.

The elf nods. It shall be done. The contract becomes magically altered to include the line, "During the Resurrection of Party A's sister, no demon shall possess her body."

Tomoe takes a deep breath, praying to what ever god is listening, that this is not the worst decision Tomoe could make. She signs the contract as I structed.
