I think we might let Kate talk with Seraph. They may hit it off. And if not, the night is young. We may get her some action later. If not, there is always the ever shrinking chance she would join us for a night romp. She smiles and begins to stand with the intention of taking Lucia to a close by table and drink with her girlfriend until Kate has done chatting.

Tomoe moves to a table close by the bar. Kate and Seraph continue to chat. Lucia takes a swig of the alcohol and then slides it closer to Tomoe, "Phew! This is strong stuff! I'm surprised Seraph didn't pass out from it considering he doesn't usually drink. Must be that Dragon Blood eh?"

Tomoe and Lucia would both notice Kate getting more looks from the patrons. She is pretty enough to get stares from men and some women. However height, the muscles and the metal arm keep all but the other merc types away. The heavy armored human mercenary that was dancing with Gemini seems to be eyeing Kate. He's waiting for his chance to move over and start flirting. With what Tomoe has seen of this dude, he seems to be a lady's man. The Dwarf also compliments Kate on her looks before getting back to the older human. The Dwarf's body language and the tone in which he complimented Kate is not really flirtatious. The compliment feels more like getting compliment from your uncle. The Dwarf radiates Uncle energy.

Any way Tomoe could find away to encourage the merc to go flirt with Kate? And hiw well is she getting along with Seraph?

The merc is waiting for a gap in the conversation. He's a lady's man, not a rude guy. If Tomoe simply walks over starts a conversation with Seraph for a couple of minutes, then the Merc would walkover and start flirting.

As for how well Kate is getting along with the captain, well, they aren't flirting but they have started trashing on their enemies. They've started bad mouthing Gokul and the Late Lilith.

Tomoe takes a drink and says to Lucia, Well, there is that Merc over there who seems more than willing to win our bet for us. But I worry he is a one night stand, and might be asking too much but I would like something more for Kate. She seems to be getting along well with Seraph. Though he may be too drunk to take Kate home. Do we risk losing to help Kate and Seraph bond over their dislike of Gokul?

Lucia looks over to Kate and says, "Well... Kate can usually handle her alcohol well. Maybe she can take Seraph home instead? I don't think coming up and just giving the merc a chance to flirt with Kate right now would be too big of a loss. She isn't drunk yet so if she thinks the merc is going too fast for her, she can always ignore him." 

Tomoe chuckles at the thought of Kate taking the guard captian home. Come, let us order some drinks and go distract Seraph for a minute and see what happens.

Lucia says. chuckling along, "Let's go." Lucia orders a round of drinks for both Tomoe and herself but also for Kate and Searph. Seraph's one was non-alcoholic. Lucia uses this as the excuse to divert Seraph's attention away from Kate for a bit.

This gives the Human Merc brush his short hair back with his hand and move over to Kate. ((No Quotes because I can't flirt IRL and have no idea how to make a good pickup line. Just imagine he said  something super seductive)) . He comments about Kate's arm, praising its shinyness and makes a comment about Kate being able to take on multiple men in a fight. The comment of course, can also be interpreted to mean Kate can take on multiple men in an NSFW way too.

Kate catches on to the guy's intentions and seems a bit annoyed by the guy. If Tomoe wants something to happen between the Merc and Kate, she definitely needs to step in and help. Kate isn't going to get any men with how she glares at people trying to sleep with her.

Tomoe tried to tap Kate's foot under the table to try to signal her without being obvious to the merc. She would try to make motions or signals with her eyes once she catches Kate's attention and hope Kate picks up on what Tomoe is trying to suggest. Tomoe attempts to subtlety encourage her to flirt back with the merc.

Kate blinks a few times and gets the hint. She isn't quite sure about the guy but she does flirt back with the merc. The merc then invites Kate to a dance with her and offers to buy her some more drinks. Kate is unsure. Tomoe realizes that Kate's seeming ineptitude at securing a partner is not exactly due to her being green at it. While she isn't good at flirting, the betrayal from her previous boyfriend is holding her back from engaging as much as she would. It seems she's just very unsure now. She looks to Tomoe for advice.

Tomoe would lean in and whispers to Kate. You are not commiting to a relationship. It is just a dance and maybe a one night stand. Go have fun. 

Kate is not sure how to feel about a one night stand. Does she really want a one and done experience? For now she decides to take up Tomoe on the offer and stands up. However she turns around and says to the Guard Captain, "I'll come back to our conversation later." She then heads off with the Merc. The dwarf and the human, familiar with the merc just watch amused. 

Tomoe looks to the two that know the merc and gives them a knowing wink. She then turns to Seraph. So, what are your impressions of my friend Kate?

Seraph responds, "Kate? I like her way of cutting straight to the point. She is not the type to mince words. I like that. She also doesn't seem like the type to take shit from anyone. I heard about the fight with Gokul. It's a shame she wasn't able to teach him what it's like to lose. I feel like she had a decent enough chance of putting the prodigy in his place. She's got some good muscles. I'm pressed. Also she's pretty... really pretty." Lucia knows for a fact that Seraph wouldn't have said all that this... bluntly if he wasn't drunk. He's a bit more reserved when sober.

Does this place have rooms for rent?

Yes it does. 10 GP a night.

Tomoe tells Seraph I think you should ask Kate out for a date.  She turns to Lucia Go rent us a room please. I am going to finish things up with Kate and meet you between the sheets.

Tomoe goes to Kate just as the song and dance was finishing. Excuse me, I need to borrow my friend for a minute. She takes Kate aside and says Do you trust me?

Kate replys Yea, why?

Because I have wanted to kiss you from the first time we met. And this is my last chance to do so. After tonight I will not be trying to seduce you, playfully or otherwise.

She hesitates but knows Tomoe has never lied to her. Ok..I guess. 

Tomoe has to stand on her toes to properly reach Kate. She pulls her friend close and finnaly gets to kiss Kate. The kiss is deep and passionately steamy, the likes of which only Lucia has received so far. Due to the size difference Tomoe's hand accidently slips down and she gets a handful of something surprisingly soft. She holds herself back from more roaming hands. 

Anime style pink sparkles fill the edges of the screen as Tomoe breaks off the kiss after half a minute. She exhausted a puff of steam as a string of saliva snaps from between them. Tomoes eyes dazzle.

Kate says, aittle breath taken Wow. I guess that happened. Uh, you promise to stop teasing me now? 

Tomoe, still in a bit of a haze replys. A promise is a promise. Now, i suggest you let this merc down gently and go ask Capt Seraph out. He really likes you but he may not come out and say it. Take the lead on this one. 

Tomoe leaves her friend and goes to meet Lucia for a night of conveniently place moonlight.

Seraph was going to ask Tomoe more questions but she was already gone. Lucia already went to the underground room this tavern offers. When Tomoe leaves to spend the night with Lucia, Kate stands a little confused at what just happened. Trying to process it, she figures she might as well do as Tomoe says. Her dating game's been crippled ever since the encounter with Lilith and Tomoe's leadership never got her in trouble before so if she could trust her enough to go to deadly dungeons full of cultists, then she can probably trust her with dating as well.

The Merc takes rejection surprisingly well. He simply shrugs and moves over to try and woo some other girl.

Kate goes back to the Guard Captain and they get to talking again. After a few more hours of talking while the bar gets emptier and emptier as the night draws on. The two of them stand up and walk outside. Normally people would think twice before walking the streets of Brass City at 1:30 AM but neither of them were too worried. Seraph was a Guard Captain and Kate was strong enough to slay a Deep Demon. Random muggers were as threatening to them as rats at this point. 

After a very eventful night, Tomoe wakes up next to Lucia. She's passed out a bit more than usual since she was probably the one who ended up drinking the most last night. Her captain might have drank more but Tomoe had no idea where he was... or where Kate was for that matter.

Tomoe goes to sit up but her head quickly swirls and she falls back prone. Caught up in the night's excitement, she had forgotten that she doesn't handle alcohal very well. She wonders what happens to Kate as she gently curls up with Lucia and hopes her headache will go away by going back to sleep. Though it may be that Lucia has other plans.

It takes a few more hours for Lucia to wake up. She groans, "Ugh... I partied too hard last night. Where..." She feels a bit disoriented at first from being in an unfamiliar room. She sits up and focuses for a bit. It takes her a few minutes but she eventually remembers last night. "Hey, Chief!" She says, " Where's Kate?"
