Kate manages to find a gap in her opponent's heavy armor and deal a devastating blow. She is immedietly met with a strong hit to the head with the Handaxe but the blow is absorbed completely by her protective cold.
Her two follow up attacks bounce off the spike armor. This... was going to take a while.
Kate seems to have gotten into a rhythm. She manages to land another strike ((The 21 roll hits)) on her opponent. Thinking she knows what to do, she lunges again only for her opponent to deflect the blow with his shield. Nope, it's still really hard to land hits on him. Kate recharges the protective aura of ice around her. The crowd DID NOT like that. They begin booing and pelting Kate with all sorts of objects, both mundane like rocks and empty bottles and unusual like rotting fishes, and sacks of bloody feathers, and even dangerous like daggers and hand axes.
Kate was too focused on her opponent and gets taken by surprise at all the thrown objects. The protective aura though absorbs all of the incoming damage though. The crowd is getting pissed. Things might get bad if this fight drags on for too long.
((Loading Screen Tip: +10 damage from GWM is great but it is useless if you can't hit. Give it some thought when facing against heavily defended opponents))
Kate will take 1d4 fire damage at the start of each of her turn until she uses a action to put herself out. To successfully do it, she needs to make a DEX check DC10.
Focusing on accuracy seemed to be the right play. Kate came dangerously close to getting through the armor of her opponent but Wall nut wasn't going to let her off that easily. The first attack is blocked by Wallnut blocking the blade of Kate's sword with his shield. The second attack was headed right for the gap in the man's armor but a last minute twist caused it to hit the thick part of a metal plate. Her sword rebounding off the armor made Kate lose her footing just a second, which gave Wall Nut the opportunity to sink his axe blade into Kate's chest. At least that's what would have happened if Kate's cold aura didn't stop the blade in its tracks.
The audience gets frustrated at this and begins booing. Someone from the audience shouts, "Die you *****!" and a bottle flies through the air. Kate didn't notice and she suddenly feels a pain on her back as the bottle shatters against her body and cuts her a bit with its shards. Kate gets completely drenched in alcohol and oil. Then her body starts getting hot as the liquid catches fire from the flaming rag that was stuffed into the bottle.
Kate grits her teeth through the pain of her body burning in the fire and groans, "This is like that Fire Elemental bullshit all over again! I JUST GOT THIS OUTFIT FOR **** SAKE!"
As her body continues to burn Kate keeps up the attack. It does seem the more aimed shots are working. While her first attack misses the second attack puts a sizeable dent in the armor and it's clear it broke a few bones. Her opponent swings again but Kate leans back and lets the axe pass harmlessly in front of her face.
The audience continue to pelt Kate with all sorts of things but this time, she dodges it all.
Would if be possible, if she even needs it, for Tomoe to toss her a healing potion ? Maybe with all the garbage the crowd is throwing noone will notice?

Yes it would be. Though between her resistance and the constantly adding 3 Temp Hp with a BA, I think Kate has only taken 2 or 3 HP worth of actual damage. So she's still at nearly full HP.
Kate tries her best to keep track of both but between her clothes burning, her opponent swinging and the arena throwing things at her, it proved too much for her. Kate was too busy deflecting an axe swing from Wall Nut to notice a flask full of acid heading her way. The flask shatters against her skin and douses her in acid. She screams in pain, now both burning from fire and from Chemical Burns.
Kate's turn.
