Tomoe is impressed by the gift. Seraph must really like her alot. Impressive. Good timing Captian, we were just discussing our future living arrangements and about to order our first round.

Seraph pulls up a chair next to Kate and sits down. "No alcohol for me thanks. I'm done drinking for now. Future living arrangements?"

Yes, we are planning on building our own lodgings just outside the city near the woods. Not too far but a safe enough distance. Tomoe makes sure to order Seraph and herself non alcoholic drinks.

Seraph nods. He has nothing to add to this conversation sadly.

This topic soon dies down and different topics are brought up and talked about. Then a Tabaxi approaches the table and taps Kate on the shoulder. He says, "Excuse me... Miss Kate? A moment of your time. I am from the Red Unicorn Magazine. Word of you and your group have spread among the public and we would like to cover that story. Would you be our model for the pictures that would go with the story? We will pay you 200 GP for a day's work."

"Uh..." Unsure of what to do, Kate looks to Tomoe. She's been offered many jobs before. A modelling job was not one of them.

I really think you should do it Kate. I keep telling you how stunningly beautiful you are. I just want you to have more confidence in how you look. Give it a try. Tomoe adresses the tabaxi She is a bit shy. Is that OK with you, assuming she agrees?

Kate turns to the Tabaxi and says, "Nothing lewd or risque. Other than that, I'm in."

Lucia leans back on her chair and says, "Well, Chief. Looks like we can't start our building tomorrow then. And with Mystery gone, it will be just you and me. What do you wanna do tomorrow?"

Tomoe blushes, knowing exactly what she would Iike to do with Lucia all day tomorrow. Ah..well, after we uh..we should spend the day togather. Maybe do some things togather. We took Kate clothes shopping, why don't we have a day of it ourselves?

Again the two didn't have much time to spend to themselves. Lucia instantly perks up and says, "We could go clothes shopping. Or we could spend time in the bath. We can go see wrestling matches, we could try investigating the Pale Hand we could..." Lucia can't think of anything else they could do that day but she was clearly excited to have alone time with Tomoe.

The rest of the night passed uneventfully. Seraph had to leave early because he had work the next morning, and it was back to just the girls.

Next morning, Tomoe wakes up next to her girlfriend as usual and is sore... as usual.

Tomoe goes through an old military stretching routine to work out the soreness. She us excited to spend the day on a date with her girlfriend. She will attempt to cook breakfast for the two of them.

Tomoe attempts to cook. The cooking process goes well. She doesn't make something super duper amazing but she does make something quite good. The smell of hot food stirs Lucia from her restful slumber. She comes out and wishes her girlfriend a good morning. She then sees the breakfast and then notices the fact that Tomoe's wearing nothing but an apron. Lucia whistles and says, "Sometimes I wish you would wear less more often. Too bad you can't really fight unarmored like Kate or I. Then again there are some revealing armors but those cost a bit more due to being usually enchanted or made with exotic materials." She begins to eat the food Tomoe cooked. She makes a passive comment about the food being good but she's more interested in the plans they have for the day. "So what do we do first Chief?"

Day 2 of travel for Mystery.

Mystery and Frogger arrive at the first of 3 bridges, As they get closer they see something that is odd. A female Arcanoloth wearing not their usual magical robes but a blue leotard. She sits on the bridge's railing. Looking out at the water flowing below. Demons are almost universally bad news. Though at least it's not a Deep Demon. Regular demons can still be reasoned with and if lady luck smiles upon you, conflict can be avoided.

Frogger stops in his tracks as he sees the creature. He says, "I'm good but not good enough to fight an Arcanoloth. Should we try and fall back and hope she goes away?"

Mystery You are my protector, if you think it best then let's retreat. Is there no other crossings to take? 

Tome grins a bit shyishly. Perhaps when our stronghold is built, there will be ample privacy. She giggles almost girlish and full of mirth. And perhaps we can get some ideas for a future modification to my daily outfit. But I think today we should focus on you. With you using more comon clothing options like Kate, I figured it would be easier to find something for you. This silk armor cloth sounds interesting. I'm not sure we have an equivalent in Edo.

She pauses for a moment as Lucia eats.  And, maybe we could try something more...risky? Things Kate would be too embarrassed to try on?

"Not unless we want to venture deep into cultist territory and then go for a swim."

Frogger leads Mystery away from the Arcanoloth and the bridge. The whole day gets wasted waiting for the Arcanoloth to go away but she does eventually leave. The journey to City of Haze was delayed for a day but at least there were no demon attacks. Going further south, on the 5th day of travel, when the duo were crossing the second bridge, bandits run in and trap them from both sides. A dark skinned Tiefling woman steps forward and says, "This bridge is rat liver territory. You'll have to pay to pass. Let's say... 1,000 Gold" The other bandits brandish their blades ready to attack if they two don't comply. Tomoe had a non-aggression deal with Rat Liver. While the gang has been proven to be willing to keep their word, they don't know that Mystery is part of Tomoe's crew. The reason why Mystery was the only one that would be safe to venture to the City of Haze without rousing suspicion, is the same reason they are getting robbed by Rat Liver.

The pact is with Tomoe and her crew. That wouldn't extend to Frogger. And if Rat liver doesn't know Mystery is part of the crew, then she will defend herself if they attack.

While this was a fight that would have probably gone in Mystery and Frogger's favor, the half orc decides that it would be more beneficial to the mission if he paid the gang to let them go. After paying 1,000 GP, the two can continue once more toward the City of Haze.

Thankfully, the rest of the 11 day trip was uneventful. Mystery finally arrives in the City of Haze. This... is a lot different than the Brass City. The buildings here are much taller and a constant source of magical pollution blocks out the sun, casting the city in perpetual gloom and fog. The streets and sidewalks are busy with people rushing to wherever they are going. From the sounds of machinery to the sounds of people going about their day, the City is Loud.

Frogger asks, "We're here. Now where do we go for your business meeting?"

We need to visit the NekoLite Cafe. It's my first time here, do you know where it is?

Frogger thinks for a bit, remembering the last time he was here. He says, "I can take you there." He leads Mystery through the winding and confusing streets of the City of Haze. Normally one of the fastest way to navigate would be through The Network but it's also the most dangerous way to travel. Thus Frogger sticks to the surface road. On the side of a dingy street, there stands a black building with a bright magical sign that emits pink light. It displays "NekoLite Cafe" with hears and cat symbols decorating the lettering.

Inside is a bit dark. Dim colored lights light up the interior. Metal tables and chairs are arranged around the dance floor. At this time of day the dance floor is empty though the dance music still plays. Patrons are around still, some that stayed until the previous night to party. Some patrons are slumped on the tables. Leaning on a pillar, close to the stage where the band is playing dance music is a merc. She is... rather was... a red headed half-elven woman at some point. now though she is a Full Forged. She wears a short black leather tube top and long leather pants. Mystery can see that her body is made entirely of metal; as are her arms. Her legs are covered so she has no idea if her legs her metal too. On her cheek she has a tattoo. Her head is still organic though. It is quite uncanny.

Sitting at the bar is another merc, this one has her back turned towards the entrance and, to Mystery. She is clad in a Magical black leather catsuit. Her outfit also has metal plates attached to more vulnerable places to offer additional protection (Studded Leather +1) Strapped to her back is a heavily modded Ranger's Blaster. She's wearing a black cat-ear head band over her light brown bob-cut hair. 

Lucia giggles and says, "Risky huh? I don't mind showing a bit more skin. The Armor silk is expensive and we'll have to make a custom outfit for me then. You know I was kind of jealous of Kate's gift so a new Armor Silk outfit would be great." She leans in a bit more and says a bit softly, "Any design you'd enjoy watching me wear, I'll happily wear to fights."

Mystery is pretty sure the lady in the Catsuit is Kitty Kat. She approaches her and gets her attention. Excuse me Miss, are you the legendary Kitty Kat?

The woman turns around and Mystery notices that the entire lower half or her face, starting from half of the nose all the way down to the top part of her neck where it would meet her chin is covered by a heavy looking black metal implant. It looks like a very bulky mask but it is indeed attached to her face. Unlike Tomoe, Mystery was born in Chronero so she's no stranger to Golem Gear. Yet this piece seems unique. It seems different from all other golem gear available in its design. She has never seen anything like it before.

The woman speaks, her voice is girly and bubbly but has a strange synthetic tone to it. "Hi! I don't know if I'd call myself Legendary but I'm the Kitty-Kat. How can I help you?" Despite the heavy Golem Gear, she seems friendly enough.

My mistress and her companions wish to travel from Brass City to here. However, She has a few enemies. She make sure our visist and what business we conduct is done so with as few bullet holes as possible. I have been instructed to hire you to help keep any undesirables from causing us harm. Or from being the one to cause us harm. You have a leathal reputation, or so I am told.
