Kate shrugs, "I mean you haven't steered us wrong yet. Let's hear it!" Lucia says, "I'm with you Chief. I'm not going to turn tail and run after coming this close. If I let Rat Liver scare me, how will I tackle Razorback or Ao Oni?"

Well, i had an idea. I want to salvage as much of today as possible. We wanted to gather information to get to Skirai and Shrike yes? Well i think we did. We know how strong the two are and how exceedingly naive Shirai is. We know that Shrike does in fact love his brother and is willing to threaten and kill for him. What if we leaned on that to try to get us some breathing room and maybe take a foe off the table with out having to fight them ?

Tomoe sits down on the floor in the corner looking outward, hand on her chin in contemplation. I think we should try to call a ceasefire specifically with Shrike and Shirai. 

Kate shakes her head and says, "How exactly do you plan on calling the ceasefire? I don't think even that idiot Shirai will fall for the same trick twice. I also don't think Shrike is going to let his brother out of sight for a good while. You remember what the idiot mentioned? His brother told him to not visit the inn. It means somehow, Shrike knew something fishy was up."

Lucia says, "There's also that thing Ruttman said. He said that "Shirai's Priest" told him to send the holy warriors to Ruttman's place. Shirai doesn't look like the type of person to recruit paladins and clerics. Who is the priest?" Kate asks, "Shrike? Rat Liver follows a pyramid structure so maybe it was Shrike. He looked like he was Shirai's boss." Lucia furrows her brows and says, "Pyramid structure you say? I think Shirai is actually someone else's underling. Shrike might be his big brother but maybe he's not exactly his boss. In that case, his priest, whoever that is, will make him Shirai's boss. I assume he's going to be as dangerous as Shrike if not more."

I was hoping to appeal to his honor, as black and twisted as it might be. If you could not tell, we have similar combat styles. And i really do think Shirai is naive. And not too bright. It would not be a trick this time. But if you both think that is a dead end, I will have to think o something else.

Tomoe is looking frustrated. She and her team are in a bind and she is having a hard time figuring a way out.

Kate says, "Look, I'm not saying this is a dead end. I'm asking how exactly we're going to get to Shirai without Shrike being there to mess things up for us."

I was hoping to address the ceasefire to both of them. He may be Ronin, but that still makes him a samurai. If i can get through to his honor, i might be able to convince him to back off of us in exchange for us leaving him and Shirai alone. The goal being to give us some breathing room to strengthen ourselves to poke the bear again.

Tomoe sighs deeply Maybe it is my desire to see the good in everyone, but i feel i might be able to appeal to them. 

Lucia says, "I'm not entirely sure this plan will work but I can go with it if you truly believe it's worth it. Now to figure out how to send the message without getting killed in the process. "

I could have one of my retainers deliver the message. Or better yet, I could write it myself, using all the embellishment and official script i can muster and have it sent by post. Perhaps if we also sent a small gift to show sincerity ? By any chance, Is the tradition Edo alcohol imported into the city ?

Kate says, "No there is no alcohol tradition here but it might still work because Shrike is still from Edo and Shiria, though not having Edo blood, is obsessed with Edo culture."

If we could find some of high quality, it might give my letter more credence. 

Kate responds, "I'm sure we can find some in the Diurnal District. Stuff like that get brought here all the time."

Ok, we have a plan. Tonight we rest up here. Tomorrow we put our plan in motion and hope we do not get attacked anywhere in between. Sound good? Any other ideas?

Kate says, "Not really an idea but I really would've liked to kill Lilith."

Working on it.

There were no ambushes in the night (It doesn't matter where you spent the night)

Lucia spent the night with the team as always. Everyone gets a long rest. Morning now. What do you do?

We are going to the Diurnal district. We need some parchment, ink, high end Sake and i want to visit the Tailor girl. 

Parchment and ink was easy enough to find. However, alcohol has always been an expensive commodity. The high end sake was found easily but it was charged at 1,500 GP

Parchment costs 1 GP for 10 (You can't buy less than 10) and 10 GP for a bottle of ink.

That is some expensive Sake. Ill take it though. Might make my plan work better if i don't skimp out and get the cheaper stuff. And i will take the paper and ink. Do i need quills too? ill take them if needed.

Then when all that is done i will visit the tailor girls shop.
