Panicked, Moira backs away from the snake (30’ if normal terrain). Bumping into some of the others rushing forward to attack. Once she is ‘safely’ away the fear subsides a bit she brings her wand up to the serpent "Sicigam Enoitaripsni"releasing a streak of magic.
Moira scurries back as quickly as she can to get away from the monster that appeared right next to her. As she does so the giant snake catches sight of her sudden departure and whips out with its fangs once more as the human flees.
Attack of Opportunity: 23 Damage: 13
Its fangs manage to find purchase past her armor this time, but Moira still manages to get away to relative safety. From a distance she unleashes her magical energy blast which strikes the beast on the side of its head as it coils back up, but it doesn't seem like much of the damage made it past the hard scales.

Nemeia does her best to stay away from the creature moving to put some distance between her and the monstrosity. She quickly twists the stock of the crossbow engaging a set of magically powered gears. Flame ignites along the guiderail as the arcane projectile looses from the crossbow toward the snake.

Move 30 feet away from snake. Bonus action: Arcane Weapon , 1d6 additional fire damage with weapon attacks. Action: Attack with crossbow
Nemeia looses a brilliant bolt of raw magical flames streaking across the swamp air. Unfortunately the shot is wide and drifts off into the far distance until the flame is extinguished unceremoniously as it strikes a distant swamp puddle.
9 steps closer towards the snake, attempting to grab it by its mouth and pull the forked tongue out, casts Inflict Wounds. “Sink back to the depths of murky hell from where you came“
As 9’s hand reaches the tongue of the snake, a black streak of necrotic lighting dashes across her hand and passes into the snake, electriciting it fully as she rips its almost cooked tongue out. Others could see the raven wings flare up on her neck and a slight smile appear on her face for but an instance. The snake proceeds to sink beneath the bog, steaming from the power of the shock.
Nemeia can be seen furiously replacing gears on her crossbow. She eventually just slings it across her back. She looks to 9 and checks on her. Hoping she fared better than last time. "You okay?," she asks when things settle.
“Certainly better than the last time we did this. What about you?”, she asked with a slight chuckle looking Nemeia over for any apparent wounds. She goes to feel Nemeia over, but realizes she still holds the tongue of the snake, and just shoves it in her backpack before continuing with her intention.
"Uh, I'm a little hurt. Just, you know, in case anyone's curious. I'll be fine." Sora says half jokingly. She focuses on just standing up and not letting the poison knock her out entirely. After a moment she grits her teeth and almost wills the pain to go away. "Maybe check on Moira, look like she got hurt too."
Walking up to 9 “That was incredible. We all worked really well together.” Moira is going to move over to the snake and tries to carry its carcass with them as they continue on.
Nemeia can't help but to grin when 9 asks if she's okay. "I hurt them as much as they hurt me." Nemeia's armor looks as pristine as it had been at brunch. The only difference was that her boots were caked in swamp waste.
9 nods to Moira and turns to Sora, “ Sorry can’t do much about that now. Very impressive work with those blades though.”, exhaling carefully 9 moves a little forward and obsereves their surroundings and the way forward to see if anything interesting meets the eye, and if they were going in the righ direction.
Nemeia tries to gain her bearings after the worm attack. She had felt rather lost before the snake showed up and the rush of combat surely didn't help that situation. She began to look around to see if anything looked familiar and if there was possibly a path that they had missed.
9 - looking around you realize most of the swamp looks the same no matter what direction you're looking at, everything is overgrown trees, bush, vines, mud, and nasty water. You think you know what the right direction is, but the experience if very disorienting
As Moira tries to lift the massive smoking body of the giant snake that so recently attacked her, she finds luck is just not with her. As it turns out this creature, which is large enough to swallow her whole, is also much heavier then she expected, and the swamp ground is much more slippery then she imagined. With a great heave, her feet slip from underneath her and as she falls to the ground, covered in muck, slime, and more mud, the body of the rolls over onto her legs, digging her feet into the mud. When she tries to stand up Moira realizes her feet are quite stuck under the massive, heavy body of this dead monster.
Nemeia is so focused on finding the right path in her immediate vicinity that she completely fails to notice Moira's unfortunate antics. However she does manage to spot their own tracks and discern the direction they were going just prior to being attacked.
Mary's not the best navigator, and her experience is at sea, However she tries to figure out where to go using what she does know.

"Well that was fun she said looking at the snake, anyone up for a BBQ? I hear they taste like chicken. Although as it seems to have venom, I would be careful cleaning it for food, just to be safe from the poison." she wonders what it would take to gather some of the poison for her dagger.
"Also, I'm no expert on navigation on land anyway, but the sun is over there." She points to where the sun is. "It's mid afternoon, so west is that way, east is over their and north is over there. I have no idea where we are going, but hopefully I can help a bit." She shrugs and smiles.

Sora gives 9 a smile in response, "Hey thanks, I try. You were pretty impressive yourself with that nasty black lightning punch or whatever it was. Looked really cool." She heard the soft splunk of the other humans slipping on mud and looked over to see Moira in her predicament. "So, ... need any help over there?" Without waiting for a response, Sora walks over and tries to push the snake corpse off Moira and help her up to her feet.
