Looking at the others and then down at her own fancy white robes. "It might be best to change into something a bit less conspicuous."
She darts into the room with her things, leaving the door open but moving to a side to not be in total view. She starts changing but continues talking, raising her voice to be heard in the other room. "So what else happened after I got kicked out?"
"You mean besides the assassination plot? Not much, they brought out some new appetizers, they looked like tiny zucchini sandwiches, but they were way too salty." Sora joked as she called back to Moira
At that moment there was a knock on the main door to the suite. Once opened there on the other side would be Gus, looking rather extravagant wearing his gala dress. However the look on his face was rather serious compared to his normal demeanor. He bowed his head slightly in greeting as he spoke to everyone he could see, "Ah my dear guests, I am to understand you all had a wonderful night at these evening's celebrations. Indeed it would seem you left somewhat of an impression with all the right people. One of those people would love to meet with all of your right now if you're able. And if I may be so bold, I would highly recommend you accept this particular invitation. What say you to a lovely clandestine meeting request?"
Kal looks a bit nervous but hopes his cowl is hiding the expression well. "Fate has served us...well this evening. We should greet it in kind."The northerner says semi-cryptically before leaving the room to make his way downstairs.
"Yeah, alright, this isn't at all suspicious or anything." Sora said sarcastically while eyeing Gus critically, "Well, let's not keep the big guy waiting."
"Nah, you're fine, let's not make an official royal deal out of all this." Sora shot back at Moira, "Oh, all you really need to know is that ..." She took a breath before spilling out all of the info quickly, "There was an assassin that got hired out to kill the princess, who's the queen's sister, tonight during the gala, which by sheer coincidence we happen to be sneaking through the castle at the time so I kinda ran into the princess in her bedroom at about the same time that the assassin decided to try and kill her but we managed to save her life and capture the assassin - Big thanks to Khorz and 9 for coming in as soon as they did and making it happen - afterwards that's when Konor showed up and at first probably thought we were the assassins but we managed to convince him otherwise cause, Hey the princess is still alive, and then we agreed to meet up at some point so we can all lay our cards on the table, which is probably why he's here now." After getting all that out successfully Sora took a deep breath and motioned for the others to follow along to this meeting downstairs.

Moira
“Wow you all are heroes!“
Moira finishes getting dressed, pulling her boots on and collecting her gear. Summoning Rusty back to her shoulder she heads downstairs to meet the mystery person.
Once everyone gathers and begins moving out of the room, Gus leads the entire party downstairs, but not to the main floor. Instead he takes everyone through another set of stairs to a basement below the inn. Moving down a hallway to a specific room near the back of the building, he knocks on the wooden door lightly."Hello in there, I've brought the guests you requested. Is it safe to enter?"
"Yes, come in."Konor's thick voice could easily be heard projecting from the other side of the door.
At that confirmation, Gus smiled at the group and opened the door, giving everyone a grand gesture to invite them inside. The room itself was fairly large and nicely finished, but it was obvious that it was mainly used for storage. At the center was a nice but simple table, at the opposite end of which the unmistakable form of Konor's half-giant form sat at. Even sitting down his size was immense and it was obvious to see he was only sitting because it would be difficult for him to stand up straight in the relatively low ceilings of this room.
Close to the door there was another figure, a tall muscular human woman in very plain looking studded leather armor. She maintained a tight, vigilant stance that seemed out of place for a typical adventurer or mercenary. She very carefully eyed every single person coming into the room, and never bothered to hide that fact.
Most interesting, however, was a third figure in the back corner of the room, deliberately looking away from the group. This person was covered by a thick but plain brown cloak, very deliberately hiding their features as they waited for everyone to enter the room.
It was only when everyone was inside that Gus closed the door behind them, bowing to everyone as he ensured privacy would be maintained.
"I suppose we should get started." Konor said gruffly.
"Yes, best we get this over with quickly."A soft, but commanding feminine voice called out from the figure in the corner as she turned around and pulled her hood back. The face was unmistakable, she had let her hair down, and she was wearing common clothing instead of the extravagant gown she wore earlier that night. Only her face still held the make up from earlier that evening, which still enhanced her natural beauty even in this decidedly common room.
Queen Enalie looked over the room, clearly guarded and mistrusting of what she was seeing before her,"So which one of you is Lady Moira?"
Giving an awkward half bow half curtsy, Rusty jumps down and gives a slightly better bow. “Umm...that would...I mean...”Moira takes a breath. “I am Moira.”Then after a brief pause adds “Your majesty.“
The Queen looks Moira up and down quickly before nodding, "Please don't be formal with me right now. Technically I'm not here, and if anyone asks, I'd like to keep it that way. Just speak freely."She took a quick breath before she continued,"Sarli is a close and dear friend of mine. She asked that I meet with you. You and your friends say you can help us. But still I have to ask, is this true, or are you just another leach looking to worm your way closer to the throne?"
“Is your sister alright?”, 9 asked leaning against the wall of the room. She carefully looked over the figure in leather armour and then slightly nodded to Konor as they entered the room, “All I can say is that my intuition guided by the Lady lead me to that person. If you ask me, I’m certain she is the primary suspect.”, she spoke monotonously, finding it irritating to have to explain all over again. She quickly glanced to Sora, and stopped speaking, confident that she can explain everything better than 9 possibly could. Instead she reserved to her usual procedure and started studying the Queen, burrowing into her with her eye.

Leech, asks Witt. Worm? The room doesn't seem particularly halfling-sized, so he finds a crate or barrel to one side, climbs atop it and sits cross-legged, nursing a mug of milk or whatever Gus could find for him. I don't think so. Though that does sound a bit like Count Hakon. Or was it Baron Hakon? I really can't remember. So, he says to Konor, basically Mister Hakon hired us to find evidence against you, Mister Konor, and we thought that instead of that we would actually try to investigate and find the truth. That's right, isn't it? he turns to ask the others. Am I forgetting something?
”As far as I know none of us have any desire to sit on any throne. I certainly don’t. I am studying to be a wizard. As Witt said we were approached by Hakon. He wanted to hire us to investigate you and your protector here. He believes you are responsible for your mother’s death. We took the job on the stipulation that we would look for the truth of what happened not to further his plans. After wards I heard him conspiring with an elven woman. His motive was to take the throne and HERS is unknown. At the gala tonight 9 here identified Linthe as the one we seek. Sora here also discovered Linthe is a bounty she has followed here from her homeland. I tried to enchant Linthe and Hakon only to have her stop me. And was then removed. Once gone I searched to find where Linthe was staying, which I have, and found along the way some of her countrymen are suspicious of who she claims to be as well. Also it seems a few of our group, Summers Treason, were able to stop an attempt on your sisters life?” Taking a moment to catch her breath Moira finishes ”I think that’s everything. Oh we are still waiting for payment for clearing out that mine and stopping the frog people too.”
"The most important thing. Our investigation has borne fruit." Sora picked up on the conversation, "Like I told your sister. We know who killed you mother. We know the true culprit, we just need to find enough evidence to prove it. Rest assured, none of us are interested in the throne. Personally the last thing I want in life is a royal title, no offense. The most any of us want is to get paid for a job well done. And that's not even something you need to worry about since the fake Duke will be fronting the bill one way or the other."After a pause she adds, "I know it seems like some weird conflict of interest, but from the start we made it clear all we're interested is the truth. And that's what you're getting from us."

“Is it Konor?”
Gus leveled a smirk towards 9, "Well that's one of the special guests, but not the most interesting one."

Looking at her attire again Moira looks to Gus “Should we change back into our nicer clothes? Mine is a bit dirty now.“
"Nah, you're fine, let's not make an official royal deal out of all this." Sora shot back at Moira, "Oh, all you really need to know is that ..." Witt also changes into his regular clothes and tags along.
