 Torvin replies " what if his son is a vampire? didn't you hear him/it say it was hungry? Go ahead and march down there and "feed it" that is what it wants. It is my opinion the father is doing what he thinks best to help his son and keep another vampire from causing havoc it this forsaken land!"

Dink Yells back towards Torvin "If he is a vampire, it is my duty to purge him, he will do no harm after this."

Skorn now turns his glare on the father. Bastard...you are keeping a vampire down there! Are you insane? He looks at Dink. Are you ready? We cannot leave this alone. To the group, he says Manneo, we could use your help. Torvin, perhaps you should guard the door, in case he gets past us. Mr. Greenleaf, guard the rest. Have your bow at the ready. He moves down into the cellar, hammer ready.

Addressing Torvin, Skorn says Brother, we cannot suffer this evil to live. This is no longer his son, it is an undead abomination.

Torvin will guard the door but will try to position himself were he can see to aid his companions and cast bless on Skorn, Dink, & Manneo.

Mr. Greenleaf - Peering through the door to see about the commotion he will notch and arrow and progress forward with the rest of the group "What's wrong with your son, father?"

Flyn will ready an attack for anything obviously hostile coming out of the hatch

with sweat on his brow he says to you "A little more than a year ago, my twenty-year-old son Doru and several other villagers stormed Castle Ravenloft in revolt, having been lured there by a wizard in black robes who came to Barovia from a faraway land. By all accounts, the wizard died by Strahd’s hand, and so too did Doru, who returned to me as a vampire spawn. I have been able to trap my son in the church’s undercroft, where he remains to this day.

Doru hasn’t fed since he was imprisoned, and he cries out to his father at all hours.Meanwhile, Donavich prays day and night, hoping that the gods will tell him how to save Doru without destroying him

Mr. Greenleaf - Looking slowly across the group "Well... it's getting pretty late we should probably get going now."

"I don't think Dink is going to leave this place without dealing with this... Vampire Spawn? Whatever that is."

"Dink, if you're intent on taking care of this creature we should have a plan... make this fight as one sided and safe as we can."

Manneo - Looking on the situation unfolding before him he turns and asks Ismark a question, "Did you know of this? Before we walked into this church did you know this man had a vampire locked up?!"

He looks at you and says "We did know Father Donavin had a son that died but we did not know he was here the entire time"

Father Donavin says look here is what I know " Strahd von Zarovich is a vampire, and he dwells in Castle Ravenloft. No one is welcome at the castle." "A vampire can’t enter a residence without an invitation from one of the occupants" and "Running water burns a vampire like acid, and sunlight causes a vampire to burst into flame."

Manneo after hearing what Ismark said turns his gaze towards Father Donavian giving a description of what a vampire can do and asks, "And if someone is turned by this Strahd (indicating the door where the priests son sits) is there no coming back from that...or will we have to dispatch any and all who are turned?". 

Mr. Greenleaf - Listening to the conversation in awe "How strong was the wizard who challenged this Strahd fellow?"
