For the 1st day, Narz tries to stick to the more mundane methods and insights given by Zoar over magic, if only to give himself time to adjust to the moors conditions.
Despite temptations to continue the trend, they were at least somewhat on a schedule. So barring specific points of interest coming to mind, Narz more regularly sends out Bird Scouts at what he determines to be three key points throughout the day to expand the group's search web, if not keep them more appraised of danger. (Effectively being down all 2nd level spell slots by evening time)
By the third day, Narz has up detection array to include even lesser but no less potent magic and seek out signs -- fetishes, markings, etc -- suggesting a more religious or even perhaps arcane based changes to the trolls behaviors.
(OOC: If able to use Spaz' perception abilities in place of his own, as Narz tends to rely on the familiar(s) for that more, add +5 to those rolls. If we get to the 3rd day scenario, would it be arcane or religion that would be more appropriate for the sort of things, if any that could be found in what's been suggested above.)

Torsus' skills lack the variety of Narz' and likely even Claire, as his were focused on either harming the enemy directly or indirectly, nothign really to search outside of the capricious guidance of his patrons. He considered using his ability to fly to help but felt it may be needed for the fight if they were going to be fighting a group of trolls.
Day 1:
Torsus casts guidance on himself at all times, if only to hear one extra whisper or spot one extra bit of movement that he may otherwise have missed. For the most part he tries to focus on things that arent obviously local birds or the like.
Survival: 12 + 1
Perception: 20 + 1
Day 2:
Torsus strayed slightly from the group, flanking them, and within sight, but tryign to see areas a little farther in one direction, hoping to look like a tasty snack that's strayed from the group.
Survival: 9 + 4
Perception: 14 + 4
Day 3:
Torsus lingers far back from the party, for similar reasons as day 2, trying to look 'weak' and like easy prey, otherwise doign the same, and always castign guidance.
Day 1: The Evermoors are a dangerous place to wander, notorious for its deadly wildlife and the trolls that inhabit the area. At least that's what you've likely heard whenever traveling this far north. Your search for trolls this first day proves unfruitful and though you come in contact with various deadly plants and fauna you know enough about surviving in the wilds to avoid getting dragged into real danger.
Day2: Just before midday Spaz catches sight of something and reports back to Narz. Following the directions given and remaining far enough away to remain out of sight you all catch sight of a female fire giant wandering through the swamps. She carries a large rod in her hand not unlike the one you found on the last fire giant you killed. In her other hand is a chain which connects to a troll her seems to have leashed. You hear shouts of Stupid troll! Useless beast! She slaps the troll around several times clearly angry with the creature for some reason. Two days and no food! What's the point of keeping you around eh? Another slap to the trolls face sends it into the muck. The giantess finds a comfortable looking patch of dirt to sit in apparently lamenting something and cursing to herself.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Just as soon as Narz spies the giant, he curtly signals for the group to get down had they not already done so reflexively fast enough. "Seems my hunch was right, for better or worse." He furrows his brows. "And there's another one of'em rods too. Which I don't think is a coincidence." He admits quietly to the others. "But I s'pose that's somethin' for us to figure later, assume'n we get a chance to. Fer now, how ja'll prefer to play it. I doubt those trolls are gonna commit easily to strike back at their master should we wanna go that route, ordning or no ordning. So best not to count on that angle."
(OOC: Deducted a 2nd level spell slot, since he would've used at least one by the event)
Torsus doesn't immediately duck, since the giantess was a moderate distance away. But he does ultimately get lower, hoping the green of his shell was close enough to the green of the area around him to help him blend in a bit. Regardless, once the enemies were spotted, and Narz asked how he wanted to approach this, much like a man of the north Torsus met in a cave, not long after escaping some town being attacked by a black dragon.... Shaking the thought of how best to approach attacking a sleeping bear... Torsus idly touches the gem he spent so much time to get to the right specifications....
Well, our goal is to fight or learn more about the giants. This is a chance to take one unawares, even with allies such as trolls. And I would be lying if I said I did not want to field test this spell iIve worked so hard to bring to bear.... Either way, I eieve we should fight. There's rumors further east and north I think 'bout eating it imbuing one with vitality and their regenerative abilities. Narz then turns his attention back on the pair, and after some deliberation adds, "... But ultimately I agree. We take'm out and secure that rod of hers for further study. Yet all the same, he closed his eyes and took a breath to steady himself, before then stepping up to place a hand on Torsus shoulder. She does seem to raise an eyebrow at that and looks over "Cleetus" curiously. A local eh? I've been hearing trolls, rather unsuccessfully, in order to comb the area, but I've little luck. You're familiar with these swamps then?
I'll need deception from Torsus.
Narz, you're still getting flashes of impatience from her, you suspect if she doesn't believe Torsus you will have a fight in your hands. Still you're also getting the sense she needs help finding something in the swamp and that she's eager to pawn the work off to someone else.
Torsus isnt sure what Narz is on about but he ultimately shrugs. Mhm. A local. And one very familiar with swamps and swampy areas. Its just shy of home for me. And i have enough intelligence to be able to easily replace your tolls. They're strong and resilient but.. ultimately dumb. he says, saying what he thinks is true. His fingers weaving behind him as he looks down and mumbles for just a moment, asking for guidance.
We need simply know what it is you need us to find.... or do.
She looks down as if still considering the offer before shrugging. Right now my only concern is finding food. I've not eaten in days and trolls taste awful. The rod can find the artifacts I seek, if there are even any in this bog. All the ruins in the moores have been duds so far. Unless you know of some ruin I've not found yet, I think I'll just eat the lot of you.
I'll give you one more shot to try and talk her out of attacking before I call for Iniatives

We need simply know what it is you need us to find.... or do.
Deception, with ADV from help + guidance.

Occassional Dungeon Master.
