Narz makes a mental note of both description and names, as well as a promise to properly record the intel when time better permitted it. But for the moment he'd keep to the polite veneer and nod in whereever it seemed appropriate during the telling. "Now there's great deal of wisdom in that last little tidbit. I've heard of a wizards and mages and the like who could've used such. But then again, to pursue the arcane more often than not makes a being desperate. Desperate enough in fact to cling to even threads in hopes of advance their understanding." He can't smirk ruefully at that, then shook his head in dismissal.
"Given the reclusiveness of some of the Lords then I take it that you're not aware of any, uh... uhm... watchmacallit? Gifts one might gift them for their hospitality?" He asked all the same. Then he'd follow it up with another question of," Anything else we aughta prolly keep a look out for in town?"
Hmm, can't think of any gifts. They aren't the kind to demand or expect such, especially of they invited you. Though if they invited you its likely they want something from you would be my guessing. Other than that can't say there's much more to tell. Like I said our town is simply if not unique
Torsus glanced about one last time before stepping forward to shake the mans hand, if he accepted, and if not... well he tried.. regardless, he would still ultimately say Well thank you sir for the information. Hopefully you found it .... I suppose the word would be fun? As it's a novel situation afterall, considering the overall lack of visitors that is. And I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to the experience atleast a little, whatever they may seek from us. Hopefully we will be found worthy of whatever task they set before us if any!he said offering a single chuckle and several nods before looking to the nearby buildings.
So before I enter, What sort of food is available at your establishment? or if not yours whomevers we just paid to rent? he asked as he began to lead his dunkey towards the back, preparing to head inside himself and meet whomever might be inside. Walking slow though so as to allow the man a chance to respond before stabling it and then heading inside.
Avgar glady shakes your hand without any second thought. Oh yes it certainly is. Please make yourselves at home for as long as you're staying. Meals are simple here, barley soup and roasted venison. Don't have many livestock save some chickens and a few pigs so most our meat comes from whatever animals the Lords hunt. Granted there's not that many living mouths to feed these days.
Sort of Miss. Our numbers aren't dwindling abnormally but there are fewer and fewer young ones. Think our youngest resident is turning 14 soon. Most people don't seem in a rush to have any kids and well, our numbers never decrease, and only so much space. The Lords have strict rules about expansion. If the village becomes too large it may attract attention, and bring threats of those who would seek to destroy the undead without a care for our own opinions on the matter. Its better we remain small, and so there's not many children being born anymore.
"Seems then only a matter of time 'fore the town belongs to the dead. Not without new blood intermingling ever now and then to keep the numbers up just in case. ... not that it technically doesn't, but y-you get what I mean. The town belonging to the dead that is." Narz cheeks darken a tid bit.
"... *Ahem*! A-anyhow. Think that's about all the question I at least have for ya, and thank ya kindly for answering'em. I know to some extent it was prolly a bit much, but-" He looks to Claire then back to the Inn keeper. "-in my experience it's better to get as much of the lay of a new land as one can 'fore one stumbles into the shite." He said with a bit of a smirk, before dismounting and turning to whisper something to Vigo. The Warg in turn nodded once and began padding after Torsus with the intention of finding an empty stall to rest in for the next few hours. Spaz took off from the roof, intending to keep the more bestial goblinoid company. "What'chu think tho'? Think once we get our mounts settled in we take a look around town all the same to kill a bit of time?"

Claire nods. “Not much else to do. Getting a lay of the town isn’t a bad idea either.” Claire will be on the lookout for an apothecary in particular, hoping that maybe someone versed enough to teach her a thing or two about an herbalism kit might live or… un-live in this town.
Once settled in you begin wandering around town. First thing you notice is that the town itself is very small, a little over a dozen buildings most of which serve as people's homes not including the inn itself. The second thing you notice is how empty the town seems. What people are out in town are at home tending to their own work except for a trio who seem to be hanging out at what you presume is the blacksmiths. If Claire is specifically looking for someone to teach her about Herbalism and asks around a you eventually find a young woman who says You wanna speak to Granny Zula. She's sleeping right now but when she wakes up tonight you'll likely find her at her house across the way. The woman points to an old squat building near the outskirts of town.
“Ah, I see, thank you,” Claire tells the woman, but a visit with Granny Zula would have to wait until after her meeting with Gerit and the others. “… In the meantime, do you have any healing potions for sale?” she asks.

She shakes her head and says No I can't say we do. We don't usually keep them in stock save for a few for emergencies. Zula will make more if we need them. You could ask her to make you some when you see her though.
Although tempted to break away and inquire more into the blacksmith and his family, Narz stuck it out with Claire for the moment, if only for the added security in numbers. Though that said, within a few moments Claire appeared to peek his interest with her question, leading him to step up a bit. "This, uh.. Granny Zula... Out of curiosity is she as well a member of the undead here? Nothing against it, mind you, but uh... we've heard a bit about the residents. And of course, we don't mean any ill will to'em so long as such is reciprocated."

Torsus tumbled his way into the inn as he finished stabling his mount, and with Claire and Narz off doing their own thing, he figured he'd do his. Looking around once inside, and not expecting to see many people but perhaps someone was here other than the innkeeper and he might be able to glean some information himself if he were to ask. And Torsus didn't mind being on his own, as the moment someone has ill intentions towards him, his dart will alert him of it atleast generally.
To Narz: Yes she is. Once the sun sets she'll wake up with the others so she can take care of you then. You can rest assured you'll be in good hands. Shes had quite a while to perfect her craft after all.
Torsus, the Inn is more or less deserted except for the caretaker. There isn't exactly a lot of foot traffic here so you doubt this place has seen any guests in a long time.
"We have an appointment with Sir Gerit and some of the others we must attend to first, but if all's well after we may return," Claire tells the woman. After that, Claire will accompany Narz if he wishes to look around the town more. Otherwise, she is content to retire until evening.

OOC: Allright then, I suppose Torsus will wait for the others to return for the most part.
Once inside, seeing the place empty, despite his sudden better judgement, he would order a small meal of whatever fruits, vegetables, or stew was available, if only to tide him over. Not making for much chatter as they had all but given the caretaker 20 questions outside... and atleast for now, he didn't want to cause a ruckus. It seemed his only real recourse at this point was to wait till they were summoned by the 'masters' as it were.
"Fascinating," Narz muttered underbreath. After a few seconds of looking thoughtful, he feigns a sheepish smile and partially bowed his head. "Suppose we most certainly will have to pay her a visit later then, hm? Many thanks again for the illumination. And good day to you as well." He uttered in thanks to the woman before parting ways.
Realizing at that point the old Tortle hadn't quite caught up with them as expected, Narz looked at least somewhat guilty and even hesitated to answer when the inevitable question came up on their next destination. "Mnn.... I gotta admit, Claire. It is tempting to try and have a word with that one boy in private 'bout things. But, I think that's enough poking around for now, least some of the villagers get 'concerned' and 'chatty' with their lords latter about our idle curiosities." Narz confessed when the pair was at least relatively alone during their wonderings. If on that note there's no counter point to the suggestion, the hobgoblin led the way back to the inn so that they might join Torsus for breakfast and killing the remaining day with harmless conversation or whatever else individual party members may wish to do so during the interim.
