Wes will catch the stone before touching it to Grunn.  Tossing the stone back to Mary.  ”Grunn and I are the only ones that know the password to the drop point.  Petunia is keeping out of sight and keeping watch.  If she shoes up, that means trouble.  Are  we ready to take her?”

To Ser Mary she says

Walk with a limp Mah Dear, remember we are two handmaidens trying to flee the chaos of the city, nothing more.

Gruun nods to Killian and makes ready to go. "I'll lead the way, let us move quickly before we are spotted."

"Karst - let's trek behind them and keep eyes open for bad guys."

Killian pauses. “There is a drop point? Did Bohmar have a plan?”

OOC > Excuse me if I missed something. I didn’t realize there was a plan for what to do with Ser Mary, so I guess that means Killian doesn’t either.

OOC- The only plan I'm tracking is getting Ser Mary to Bohmar cause....ah..... Ritska said to?

Karst nods to Aradurk "Good idea, everyone stays in pairs at least and be prepared to check each other with the gems if you lose sight of anything group." He then said sets off with the half orc. 

Ser Mary grimaces at Rycider. "I am not cut out for this. I am Ser Mary Glendale, Orcbane. I do not hide."

OOC: Ritska's suggestion was to take Ser Mary to Bohmar's apothecary and keep her there until you and she can learn more about the situation, though that doesn't have to actually be your decision.

Sounds like Aradurk and Karst are taking the rearguard while Gruun and Killian lead the way to Bohmar's. I will advance once that is the confirmed destination.

Might as well go to Bohmar's for now. Gruun and Killian in the lead will attract a lot of attention, him because bugbear, her because she's Killjoy. Maybe we're better off traveling a fair pace ahead of the others, to see if anyone makes a move?

Killian looks at the group. "Some of us will attract attention just as we are trying to hide Ser Mary. Perhaps Gruun and I should advance ahead of the rest? You can keep an eye and see if anyone notices us, while keeping a lower profile?"

"Fine, but stay together". Karst nods in agreement.  "We will guard the rear Aradurk, everyone else with Ser Mary, let's get going." The paladin looks eager to get moving, impatiently pacing back and forth.

We have this desire to keep Mary hidden with make up and try to avoid being detected.... as well as other concerns about keeping a level head.”” Wes says as he looks to Ser Mary.  “We could keep her out of sight, no one would take a second look at a dog... or car perhaps?”

(offering to polymorph Ser Mary)

Ser Mary blanches at Wes's suggestion. "I'd prefer to remain in my own form. I've been around enough shapechanging for one lifetime. It is bad enough to be skulking in the shadows. There's no need to rub salt in the wound," she says.

Ahead of the others, Gruun and Killian much attention themselves. The city streets have emptied, the curiosity of the day's events having given way to the prudence of safety. The eerie silence is broken by the distant sound of crashing waves against the shore. En route, they are startled by a flap of wings, and a small, dark figure landing in an alleyway nearby: A familiar cloaked kobold, wearing a hood down low over his face.

Rycider, not recognising the kobold, will keep Ser Mary moving.

Aradurk will close ranks, hand on hilt. “You there - what is your business?”

Gruun squints closely at the figure before letting out a muted, but still excited exclamation, "Hox! I was afraid your nimble fingers had you leaving town, I still have some of your 'shinies' once things quiet down. Come, we're working again and I have something else for you." Gruun holds out the gem of revealing for Hox to take.

Hox scampers up excitedly at the new shiny, eagerly taking it and examining it, "Yes, very shiny. Sorry for not seeing Hox, Hox took a pirate's eye and pirate was scary with missing eye." Hox passes a glass eye to Gruun, "Kill? Can you read, Hox can not read but took thing with lots of words. Words looked fancy so I took it."

OOC: Ready to advance once the party has had a chance to respond to the arrival of Hox.

Rycinder will make an excuse to stop, seeing the party catching up with the Kobold. Staying in character she will pretend to look for an imaginary lost earing before continuing with Ser Mary when the party sets off again.

Seeing the gem touch the kobold’s skin and seeing the familiarity with Gruun, Aradurk rests his sword back to its scabbard and moves back into position in the back, looking for anything (more) out of the usual.

Similarly to Aradurk, Karst visibly relaxes a little and steps a little away from Ser Mary whom he had moved closer to ready to aid her if necessary.
