Bleeding profusely from a kidney shot, Cora headbutts the last Kobold that's teetering on the last thread of life. This particular combat has ended. She slumps down against a chair and misses, falling to the floor, grabbing her side. "******* monks.." she wheezes, looking pale.

Coal emerges from hiding. She sighs in relief and realizes you're not the enemy. Here's what she knows.

"I served with a warforged named Razor in the Cyran military during the Last War, during which I lost my right arm. Razor and I had trouble finding work in Sharn, due to the fact that many businesses are reluctant to hire warforged foreigners. We became desperate for money. A month ago, Razor told me she had a job working on a long-term secret mission for Alden d’Orien, the scion of a dragonmarked house. Warforged from other parts of the city were also recruited to help in the task. The job required physical labor, so my injury prevented me from being able to do the job. Razor planned to save money then buy me a new arm so I could work with her. Razor would often come back from work sullen or wounded but never opened up about the job until shortly before she died. Razor confessed that the job was more dangerous than it seemed when she was recruited..she was planning to quit before she died. You'll have to talk to Alden d’Orien if you want more. He has a residence called Unicorn Estate in the Mithral Tower district of Upper Central Plateau."

Seeing the battle was over and she did nothing again, Bea throws her rapier off to the side (telling herself she'll buy another one that she could hopefully HIT SOMETHING WITH) and rushes over to Cora' side once again. "I swear you have the worst luck, sugar..."

"Ah, ****..ow, easy. Ahh! yes..hhhhh.." Cora sighed in relief as her kidney unpunctured. "I can piss without bleeding again, thanks." she smiled at Bea, and got up. "You ok? I saw one of those kobolds fling a firebolt at you, wouldn't want to get that body of your all messed up now." she said. "Sorry about pushing you."

Athela nods, her eyes sympathetic. "Do you know how Razor died?" she asks softly.

Mia would arrive in the alley way much too late, but it was obvious Athela and Willow didn't need any help. The half elf would tuck away her weapon and shield to make a gesture of peace if Coal becomes uncomfortable with her presence. She'd stand near the entrance of the alley way and look out towards the street to watch for any other threats.

"I do not." Coal admits. "I wish nothing more than to leave this place and be on with my life. I wish you the best of luck in your investigation."

"All right, do you think you'll be able to keep yourself safe until you're out of the city?" Athela checks, eyes dark with worry.

"I do." Coal says, leaving. "Good luck, and thank you for saving me."
