Zorg's Lost Souls

"When next time we get here - we'll chat. Glad you do not mind us passing." He paused to indicate the talking is done and addressed Pax: "Let's see this door and leave." Sekkar would follow Pax close enough to watch out for duergar potential attack (ready to activate the sword and blind the attackers at first sign of danger) with one goal - find the passage. 

Pax walks up the incline towards the right and looks for the door leading to the secret path. 

Rhayna asks Kaylyn and Kastix telephatically. "Should we move the egg and Golark to the eastern cave for now?"

"Depending on our luck, I could turn him invisible and we can try our luck following the others," Kastix replies, "Or maybe we can get these guys to be worried or on guard against our unseen friends in the eastern cave and we try to get back as they have at it,"

If there is no protest, Zeno will follow the others.

But, assuming the figures protest...

 Either way he will motion in the dark, signing, “We saw nothing. Fortune’s favor.”

Go then, and may you find your companion, replies the voice once more in Undercommon. If any drow slavers should pass this way, we will ensure they never leave this place.

Zeno:

Kastix, Kaylyn, Rhayna and the rest are still 50-60' down the corridor with Gorlak tied up. It is unclear, but the voice seems to only be aware of Zeno, Pax and Sekkar. 

(I’m al little turned around.  We are in the room to the left with the oven and a door that Sekkar and Pax are headed towards now. On the other side of the door (we presumably don’t know) there’s a ladder.  Do the Duergar seem to care that we are headed for that door?)

Pax, Sekkar and Zeno are in the 'northern' cave, and attempting to pass into the small cave beyond the door. Whether the two resident creatures care or not is unclear, but apparently they are not preventing the three of you from passing through the door. However the 'voice-in-charge' has secretly communicated to one of the others to lock the door behind you once you are through. This information is only known to Zeno, but as spore telepathy is active, he could communicate this to Sekkar and Pax, who are within range.

It is likely that the creature speaking to the forward three is not aware of the rest of the group further down the passage near the fork. They (Kastix, Kaylyn, Rhayna, et al) are aware of two other invisible creatures that approached their location from the eastern cave, but then ran back into the eastern cave when the voice spoke the second time (along with the first hidden message about alerting 'the boss', which again only Zeno heard).

"What's taking them so long?"  Kaylyn whispers.  "I don't like this."

(Under no circumstances Sekkar would leave the rest of the party behind, surrounded by untrustworthy duergars. Once the door is located, he would return for them (and the egg))

Yes, Pax will open the door, ensure the exit she's expected to see is still there, then with Sekkar the two of them head back across the room and telepathically call for their friends to come to them. 

"This does not bode well for us," Kastix sent to his allies nearby as he tries to keep an eye out around him as he keeps his wand at tah ready, "What's taking so long?" 

(Can we move get to east wave without alerting the duergars? Kastix will want to try create a trip wire or something to alert them if someone comes that way) 

Rhayna agrees with Kastix and tries to move to the east. She tries to move the egg, and ask the little guys to escort Gorlak. She will move slowly.

(Zeno will warn Pax and Sekkar that they’ve sent someone to go get “the boss" and they plan to lock the door after us.)

(Sorry wasn’t sure if the spores continued if we were out of range of the myconids)

Just confirming...

Zeno/Sekkar/Pax are in A and heading for the door to B where the exit is. The others are in C. The invisible duergar ran into D.

Please clarify where you are planning to go. A few people said "east cave" but I wasn't sure if you meant B or D.

Kastix want to create a  trip wire or simple alar where C -D connect.

Rhayna will try to move the egg to the entrance to area D. She asks the Myconids to escort Gorlak that way as well.

So Rhayna/myconids taking Gorlak into room D, followed by Kastix who then sets a trap behind them?

(I think we mean not in the room, but just outside of it. Like before the western most edge of the fungi patch.)
