Zhor will grunt and swat at his brow unknowing that Manju hit him.
Now awake, Zhor will take a look around, sit up, wipe the drool from his face, then realize that everyone is still stuck here. Zhor is going to look around at who else had bruises and blood from the fight.
Footsteps echo down the corridor, and a few of the drow appear. One of them in the back, seeming to be in charge of the others, was a drow with a scarred and disfigured face. He looks at all of you with open curiosity, looking over Zhor and Manju especially. Through a small gap in the bottom, the other drow slide some earthen bowls of some sort of broth through, sneering at you. They trod off, though the disfigured drow hangs back for just a second, almost like he's going to say something, then walks off with the rest.

"Guess we best keep our strength up..." Tempest says with a groan as she recalls how bad the food was in the other cell. She moves over to the door and picks up a bowl for herself and her dwarf friend. Pausing at the door she watches the group of drow as they head off.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Don walks up to the gate and grabs a bowl of broth and eyes the drow, trying to determine if he's interested in any one of us in particular, or if his attention is on the food he just delivered.
One of the gnomes pokes Tempest in the ribs. "I got 5 gold says you can't eat all these bowls without sending them right back up. Whataya say?"
Tempest responds to the gnome in Under common:
"Why would I want to take that bet?" Tempest asks with a frown down at the gnome. "First it wastes food, second it would end up with me most likely having to pay you anyway, with coin I do not even have, and third what is your deal with all of these bets?"
Tempest glares at the gnome, her temper rising a bit as she considers him not taking this situation seriously.
Gadvelt summarizes what he learned from the dwarf Eldeth for the party when he can:
The orc is Ront, his tribe are at war with Eldeth's folk, so probably cannot trust either's opinions of the other. Probably best if it isn't me as talks with him though
The derro Buppido is always gregarious, but Eldeth gets a feeling of untrustworthiness. Me too, not for nothing
The gambly gnome is Jimjar, often annoying, maybe the only other one as speaks Common
The other two gnomes are twins, Topsy and Turvy, have not said much
The Drow prisoner has said nothing; he was put in here a couple days ago
The scarred Drow guard is called Jorlan - he used to be higher status, before the scars a little while ago, now the other one called Shoor has taken his place. Shoor has a wand that shoots sticky globs that Jorlan used to carry
Ilvara the Drow priestess is in charge, there is another priestess called Asha. 19 Drow total, plus a dozen Quaggoths and some giant spiders. Three watch all the time from a tower you can see out of our cage, across a rope bridge
She says there is some kind of anti-magic here - can you test that somehow Tempest or Egret?
The fish-man called Shuushar is a total pacifist, even under torture
The myconid is Stool, very scared, can cause telepathy with its spoors - might be a very useful power
She knows nothing of the Quaggoth
It may be only a couple days but maybe tendays before they ship us off to the big city Menzo-something
After the summary, his own thoughts:
Still to find out - where can we get weapons and such, and where do we run to, immediately and after that?
Don starts processing Gad's information and quietly adds, "The quaggoth calls himself Prince Derendil. He claims to be a gold elf of Nelrindenvane in the High Forest, transformed by a terrible curse. I haven't heard of any such place, but he seems sincere enough. Quite well spoken for someone who should be a vicious, bloodthirsty brute. Though he says that as the days go on the form takes greater hold. It is only a matter of time before he is a quaggoth in temperament as well as form. Unless we can lift the curse. He is eager to aid in our escape."
Jimjar looks dejected at Tempest's refusal, then cheers back up. In Undercommon:
"Just trying to keep things interesting down here, friend. It gets pretty tedious otherwise. Awful broth, hard work, constant beatings. Nothing like a friendly wager to keep the spirits up!"
"You'll fit right in here then! Bunch of sour sports and grumps, the lot of them! From the jailers on down. 20 gold says you can't make either one of those other gnomes crack a smile. I'll give you 3 days, if we survive that long. Just the thing to lift your mood! And don't bother about not having it now. We can settle up once we lift the purses off the dead drow on our way out. Or some other time, when we've got the coin. I'll remember, I always do!"
Tempest actually laughs. She shakes her head then shrugs.
In under common she says...
"Why not... Need something to keep my mind off things..." She holds her hand out. "I am Tempest, glad to meet you. How did such a crafty one as you get into a place like this?"
Ront picks up a bowl, takes a sip, puts it back down, and picks up another, which he carries back to his spot Small'uns don't need so much he says in Common, which seems something like funny to him (not that he actually laughs)

Tempest watches the drow for a moment, wondering why he is so curious when his kind have been nothing but degrading to them up till this point.
In Deep Speech she says...
"What are you so interested in?"
Gadvelt answers I did not notice Manju had any weakness, nor Zhor either. Just next time attack when we are all ready

The drow glances back, but turns his head and keeps walking. You could tell he was definitely eyeing the group.

Hearing so much about antimagic, Tempest decides to try a quick spell. She tries casting Fire Bolt, targeting a section of wall nearby.
