[OOC: DM, I took Stig to mean he was searching the Vegan's cubby, that being the room he was last in. Your call.]
Grimly pleased that Farmer Alderleaf's vegetables are safer than this morning, BrandyCustard searches the body of Fiercer for anything interesting, then drags his body over to the doorway into the Vegan's cubby (where he was so rudely surprised - thanks again noisy Virran). There he arranges Fiercer's body against the wall in a suitably berserk looking fashion and, deeply regretting he did not collect more samples of Kitty-Kat's spikes , he plunges the one he did souvenir deep into Fiercer's chest, announcing to anybody and nobody "Make it look like that ugly pet from the chasm came looking for live food!"
Torn between exploring the Vegan's cubby and resting to recuperate he notices Virran is once again on an adventure - tearing him three ways. He tosses one of his souvenir teeth in the air 3. Pleased at the choice The Lady Tymora has made for him, he calls over his shoulder to Mighty Stig "When ye be done in there laddie, maybes drag them other three turnip-lovers out of sight and close the door. Might make passers-by think twice of barging in if they think Kitty Kat is in there a-feeding" ... and he scoots off to follow Virran, gathering up his lucky tooth and his two discarded boomerangs as he goes.
At the doorway from which Fiercer emerged [OOC: Assuming Virran has passed that portal at this time], he pauses and listens a moment. Listening (perception) 8
Needing to recoup both health and spell slots, Night Hawke nestles in among the barrels for a short rest, hoping that the rest of the crew will either hide her if they go off exploring, or stay watching.
Before she nods off she beckons to those closest and says
”The room to the north of where the monster was has 2 hidden doors. Best for us to keep an eye out on all the entrances here, I’m not sure we’re entirely in the clear yet.”
with that she falls into a light doze, hoping to recover her strength.
OOC, what do I do to get spell slots/health back from resting, do I need to update something on my sheet or do I roll?
OOC @ Brandywise - You are correct. When he search the barrels in the cubby room, he found the same resources that Virran found in the cistern room. The only booty was on the bodies.
Ok, so Virran and Brandywise move through the stone doorway and into a corridor (10 ft wide and 40 feet long). Thick dust covers the flagstones of this sombre hallway. The walls, you notice, are decorated with faux columns every ten feet, and the double doors at the west end are sheathed in copper plate, now green with age. A relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors.
Listening, the hallway is silent. Only the general movement of your party can be heard, at softly at that. (@ Brandyise - in searching Fierce 2.0, you are pleasantly surprised to find a pouch tied to his waist. It contains several gems (3 garnets) and 15 gp. Clearly, he was the boss of the lot holed up near the cistern.
@Night Hawke - you can take a short rest and use your Hit Die to recover hit points, however, this will put a significant delay in where you rest and your party move to. Unsure of specifics, however if we said 2 squares (10 feet) of movement per minute... I am sure all can move more than 3 metres a minutes... you would be left behind. You could recover one spell slot for a short rest.
What footprints in the "Thick dust covers the flagstones of this sombre hallway." ... Other than those of "Fiercer" - unless, perchance, he was a Wraith (and hence worthy of more than a mere 70XP)?
BTW - tossed the illicit goods off Fiercer back to Night Hawke before she snuggled down - for safe keeping. <chink, chink, rattle, rattle>
Stig gathers up the spoils with the intention of pooling all the loot with everyone else when they return to town. He grabs some of the stored food stuffs to bolster his own supplies and then heads out to catch up with Virran and Brwb.
“It appears the other party members have once again rushed off. They are not very thoughtful of being a team,” says Swift. “it would be remiss to leave Naivara here alone. Perhaps the others will return shortly to tell us what lies through that door, before rushing headlong into another ambush. They're like little boys in the thrill of the chase, unheedful of danger”
Swift turns to night hawk who doesn’t seem to have followed the others yet. “What will you do, Night Hawk... follow the others or wait a while with Naivara?”
Swift then calls softly to Asmodean... (not expecting a response, but she was brought up to at least try to be polite)... “And you, Master Asmodean... perhaps you could recount a story to keep us awake and aware while we wait with Naivara, just don’t be too loud in your telling. We don’t want to bring more redbrands, or worse, upon us.”
“We are stronger as a group, fair Lady. I say we continue with the others and our spoils. Hopefully we can run off any trouble before it runs us off. Speaking of trouble, perhaps we should make it harder for anyone else to follow us, as I did already discover 2 other hidden doorways in a different ante chamber. Let’s move some of these barrels to block the door .”
Night Hawke begins to quietly roll some of the barrels to make getting in harder and scatters anything that will make noise when stepped on, straw or such, on the ground so they have some cover against a behind attack
She then snags a few apples to eat and follows Brandy and Virrian through the hallway.
Swift to Naivara: “it appears now is no time to rest. All but Asmodean and I have left and Asmodean is a moody fellow, not inclines to communicate or act. I am not happy being just us three here and leaving you here alone, even hidden is not a good idea. Youbwould be defenceless if discovered. All the rest in the world isn’t worth that risk. Please... let’s follow after the others.... “
@ Brandywise - tossed the illicit goods off Fiercer back to Night Hawke before she snuggled down - for safe keeping. <chink, chink, rattle, rattle> - You must be a 'jumper' getting around so much!
Several sets of human foot prints, all which you would be safe to assume would belong to Fiercer, enter the hallway and immediately to the right. A bedroll is lies in the corner of this niche in the hallway, but is devoid of other affects of note. No footprints head along the corridor towards the copper doors - the dust is all but untouched.

@FVDM: Keep busy, that's my motto - well one of them. Plus I did note the magical way I transported from the door way, where I stopped to listen, to be ahead of Virran. Magic which I shall now undo.
Glancing back, Brandy sees The Mighty Stig approaching, but not the others, he wanders back to the entrance from which he came and calls down to all "Fight'n for me life as I was, I can't say who helped me, but The Lady Tymora and me, we both thanks youse. May the Luck of the Lady bless you. My Rapier, hand axe and boomerang be at your service. But right now, team, we's here to rid this ruin of rats, vegans and other noisome, nachos-nibbling nuisances. So let's not be taking a rest'n pic-a-nic every time anyone gets a scratch, or does some of that magic ... Brandy waves his hands about in a magicky sort of way ... stuffamy. Come. Join us." He beckons them on encouragingly.
He's about to turn back into Faux-column room when he hesitates. He looks at the wounds still troubling him and sighs. Not seeing any more help apparently forthcoming from his companions, he fishes out his lucky tooth, breathes on it for The Lady's luck, and tosses it in the air. He catches it with one hand and slaps it on the back of the other. Lucky Tooth Roll :1
Raising his eyebrows at the result, he mumbles "As ye wish, m'Lady" and asks of no one and everyone. "And speaking of "Team", I'd be thinking we should save those healing potions the team bought so dearly so those of us alive at the end can put them up on the bar and have Asmodean sing them a ballad of how useful they could have been".
Having spoken his mind, he turns back into Faux-Column room, winking at Stig, and sidles up to Virran to whom he says softly "And where to now, oh leader?"
While awaiting Virran's response. Brandy can't help but let his thoughts leak onto his lips... "And what would me old Da make of his BrandyBoy following a chatty, hulking half-orc leader through a rat and rubbish infested ruin?" Brandy smiles to himself at the thought of his Da and his likely response. "Brandy m'boy, the wise do what they have to to get the job done. And that's why we done called you BrandyWise."
Naivara was hidden away within the Redbrands room, deep in meditation and not heeding the movement or words of the others. She awakes from her four hour meditation full of life and ready to face what is ahead. She feels that although she is a member of a team, she has to look after herself and she would always rather be at her best and have her spells available. She takes some remains of food, filling her belly and saving some for later. She looks at Asmodean and wonders if he, too, is in a state of meditation.
She nods at Swift, grateful for her presence, and says “Let’s push on. I’m sure we will find the others getting themselves into trouble somewhere. I can hear their voices from here, no doubt the bugbears will find them soon.” She gives Swift a smile and starts to follow the trail of the others. She knows they will catch them in battle before long.
@Naivara @FVDM @all It seems to me the above post occurs 4 game hours from now. Do we just play on? Or are we locked into a 4 hour hiatus by this post?

Surprised at the torpor that seems to have overcome all, Brandy sighs and says to himself (as it appears no one else is listening) "Looks like a rest'n pic-a-nic it is Brandy Lad. Leastways it's a chance for some heal'n".
And with that he goes back into the cellar, selects a few good apples from one of the barrels Virran opened, and settles down for the duration. First up is dressing his wounds. That done, he munches steadily on an apple or two and rolls four of his teeth dice - just for entertainment.
Dice roll to pass the time:12
He chuckles at the result, and tosses the teeth again: 16
An arduous 4 hours pass, by the end of which everyone seems more-than ready to continue. You all seem surprised that some 'wandering monster' or hungry Redbrand didn't stumble upon your siesta - it seems that the comings and goings of people from this section of the cellar is fairly limited. Likely, it is only the secret passage where the Redbrand humans travel, not the dust-covered cellar.
@ All - to be clear, this is a short rest only - you must spend your hit die (located in the 'short rest' section of your character sheet) to recover lost hit points... should you want to - thinking Brandywise, Naivara and Night Hawke. Brandywise, for example, can use a short rest to roll 1d10+1 up to 2 times to recover hit points.
A horrible feeling grows in the pit of your stomach. Dawdling here will likely end in Storm Gianting - a term that implies woe on all who become complacent and stay too long in unsavoury locations. Roll your hit die (if you want to use them), update sheets and let's get moving! As no other mention has been made (apart from the guarding Swift), everyone has enjoyed a short rest.
Incredulous at the twin 16s his "dice" have delivered, Brandy figures His Lady Tymora must be trying to communicate something to him, but down here he can't determine what. He must return to the Shrine of Luck!
Without further ado, he places one coin, heads up, where his dice fell, gathers up his things, including the fateful "dice", and departs back the way the party came, still hurting from his wounds.
Odds:
Should anyone come investigating his inaction, they might at first think Brandy is having a pleasant dream, judging by the faint smile on his lips.
A closer look, however, reveals his pallid grey face, the dried trickle of blood from one corner of his mouth down to his chin and a small pool of drying blood on the floor.
The four teeth Brandy had collected lie in the pool of blood, in three different orientations. And, carefully placed in their centre, presumably by Brandy before his death, is a single coin, heads up and blood-free on that face.
It appears His Lady, Tymora has summoned Brandy to a different calling.
(OOC: Sad to See Brandywise go... and I feel I should rig the dice so that the adventurer heads back to the temple where he could be called on at a later stage... or at least moving onto happier things!
@ All: Knowing that we are one party member down - what's your thinking?

After re-energising, feeling slightly sad to see the loss of another ally, Naivara urges the team to push forward. She knows after a long wait, Swift will be keen to move forward. “I owe her a look out” she thinks, and smiles at her, hoping she will realise just how grateful she is. Naivara hopes that the group can now move forward together and all will follow movements and decisions as one. (OOC: Maybe rather than making individual movements the team can move forward together, unless specified? We search every room carefully for secret passages and don’t have to worry about characters like Asmodean who might have lapses in their actions... we just assume they are with us. Virran or others might still stealth ahead on their own- but would need to specify that and whether they want the group to follow or if they want to explore then come back. Might push us forward more quickly. Around a table we wouldn’t say “I’m moving forward, too..” What does everyone think?)
Order: (Provided everyone is still in) Virran to Stealth, Stig, Swift, Night Hawke, Asmodean, Naivara.
The team pushes forward up the stairs that fiercer came down and investigates the next room for secret passages, weapons, riches or clues. Investigation: 19
“Yes... let’s move on”, says Swift. “The map doesn’t show any other way in or out of the room Virran is at. And I thought someone said the dust lies undisturbed. Perhaps it was a message from Brandy’s lady Tymora to us as he slipped away to her realm.
If it’s so, methinks this is not a central part of their operation. Worth a quick look to confirm, then let’s back track to areas we know are frequented. Perhaps back to the site explored earlier by night hawk... or even back to the passageway near where the eye was hanging. Perhaps the eye was meant to guard this passage and stop intruders exploring further.”
Swift walks towards the doorway that Virran is standing in (at least according to the map)...
