Alkaios:
The Ranger moved in behind them, his two shortswords at the ready. "Let's see if Tarina's information was any good.", he said as he carefully looked for unwelcome surprises.
As soon as you enter the vicinity of the church Alkaios sees that several followers, humans with shaved heads and clean white robes, enter the building. A large man stands at attention in the front. He is in full armor and has a mace hanging to his side.
Alkaios immediately pointed at the followers entering the building, and greeted the armed guard waiting at the entrance. "Hello there! That's quite a summoning taking place here.", he had a feeling that this would turn ugly pretty soon. A bunch of armed bald guys in robes were bad news in his book. "We just wanted to ask you some questions.", he exclaimed while keeping a tight grip on his swords.
The followers are entering the building as you arrive. So the only one outside to greet you is the armed man. (Sorry if I wasn't clear.)
The guard moves to block your entrance to the church and bows his head respectfully.
" I m sorry but you may not enter while there is a ceremony. The Baptism of Silence is one of our most blessed rituals. No sound is allowed in as soon as the ceremony begins. " the man has a strong and firm voice but he is otherwise unthreatening. He is just stating facts.
"Well met, friend!", Alkaios made an effort to keep it civil. "I am afraid that we are bound to ask our questions anyway. We are here by the orders of the Flaming Fist, investigating some disturbend reports. An investigation that lead us right here.", the Ranger stopped there, waiting for a response from the guard.
"I am sure one of the disciples will be able to enlighten you. " e says in the same casual voice. "While we wait how may I be of service to you? I may answer a few questions if you need them now.

Gerrard:
While the others take the lead in questioning the guard, Gerrard watches him intently, trying to see if he is just doing his job protecting the flock or if he is covering for an evil undead-related cult...

"While we do not wish to interrupt any sacred ceremony, we have received information indicating your worshipers may be in danger. I assume this ritual is completely silent, yes?" asks Gerrard.
" Is it possible that we might silently observe the ceremony? We might learn all we require without having to disturb anyone"
He tries to peak inside while asking. " what does the church of the silent bell have to offer a servant of Bahamuut? What is the belief bein espoused here? Which Gods do you serve?"
Gareth notices that the man is stalling. He doesn't appear to want to move out of the way either. There is a fanatical glint in his eyes that you know most zealots have.
The man continue talking.
"The Silent Bell is dedicated to death and the gentle slumber they have earned. We pray to Kelemvor. As for the ceremony it is not for me to say. One of the Fathers will be here shortly I assure you."
”Well, of course we wouldn’t want to interrupt a holy ritual, would we,” says Gerrard smoothly, suddenly spinning, drawing his rapier and holding the tip a hand’s breadth away from a ‘silent’ bell, adding with sudden intensity, “But you are just stalling, aren’t you!”
”Tell us the truth or I will put your ‘silent’ bell to the test and it’s ringing will testify to your lies!”he concludes fiercely.
