Gabriella hit the ground hard with a sharp cry of pain and terror.

"****! MOTHER- FGHHH!" she yelled as she slowly got back up. She looked pretty beat up, and her shoulder was at an unnatural angle, but the Blood would heal that in a moment. She slowly turned and waited for the rest to come down, cradling her arm.

Nilrem sees this fall and lets out a low whistle, before smiling and laughing, "Race you all to the bottom~" He then stands straight and holds his arm out, facing you all, before falling backwards to the floor. Soon after you hear a crash as he lands into a pile of garbage. He lays there laughing for a moment as he wipes some of the blood off his head from the fall and licks it off his hand.

Connor does the three point landing like a superhero, but waits to get in the boat when he sees that his less Athletic cohorts aren't having the same degree of success. "Come on, there's a boat over there, we should be able to get away and patch ourselves up no problem. And Nilrem, stop licking yourself. You're not a dog, damn it."

Ryder studies the drop for a moment quietly and nods. Figures. Gonna have to jump down and hopefully not break my legs. After a moment he swings his arms back and takes the jump carefully and quietly, making it down unscathed with a soft thud before shoving his hands back into his pockets again. As he moves next to Connor,  he glances at Nilrem and speaks in a quiet calmly. "Are we sure he's not." 

"Do not say that shit, it'll only encourage him."

"What kind of bullshit building doesn't at least have a fire escape ladder on the roof? This is a fire hazard. Should've ******* gone downstairs," Olivia mutters, jumping off the building soon after, know full well the fall wouldn't be a pleasant one. She was right. It wasn't, and she joins behind the others to the boat with a limp and an annoyed look on her face.

Gabriella concentrated for a moment and willed the Blood to repair her wounds from the fall. In a few moments, she was good as new - aching to either shut Olivia up with her bare hands, or kick the shit out of those foolish mortal peace keepers. They were dressed and armed in styles unknown to Gabriella. 

"The technology they have now - how things have changed in 70 years. What other surprises shall we find, I wonder." she said, looking around and staying near the coterie - ready to strike.

Hiding in the alley, from here, the two London police officers by the government motorboat have not seen you yet. You're about 40 feet away from them and the river. Behind you, you can hear Antigen and Mithriac cultist engaged in heavy firefighting. It's only a matter of time before someone sees you. The place is crawling with law enforcement.

"What's the plan." Gabi asks.

"Well, there's a ton of guys with guns behind us, so we're going to go where they aren't. We'll take out those two, non-lethally, so that you can get a drink, then take that boat and scram so that we can start searching for the relics." He said to Gabi, as if this was obvious.

Gabi stares at you for a moment, before saying, "******* shit, what a detailed plan." she heads off, hiding between crates, dumpsters and corners - clearly with the intention to do something to one or both of the law enforcement officials.

Connor shrugs as Gabi stealths. "Honestly, I just thought it was the obvious thing to do." He begins to approach the policemen, as well.

Ryder moves forward stealthily and quietly, stretching his arms slightly as he prepares to take down some guards. 

Those who pass a Dexterity + Stealth test vs DV3 successfuly sneak up on the law enforcement officials. THEN you can attack first for free with no opposed rolled. (Think surprise round in DnD). If you fail, it will be a contested roll, as you are spotted. So, the rounds will go like this:

1. Those who have surprise.
2. Those who didn't.
3. Official conflict combat

Then, if the law enforcement are still alive, after the surprise round we will get into contested rolls.

Ryder attempts to sneak behind one of the guards, hoping to choke him out silently, but accidentally kicks a small pebble that skitters across the ground, catching the guard's attention. Ryder's plan changes quickly as his now moves to attempt to hit and strangle the man unconscious after being spotted.

It was probably the mixture of being freshly woken up, to being forced to drink off a live mortal, to jumping off a ******* building that made Olivia lose her marbles more so than she already had. The beast was out and didn’t want to do anything stealthily.

Connor forgoes Stealth and just walks over to punch the cops.

This happens as the scene unfolds: Olivia, the Beast inside you panics. Hunter AND hunted, you flare into full blown paranoia..the Hunger reminding the Blood inside you of it's vulnerability - going into complete Red Alert. You have the uncontrollable need to completely disengage and flee for your life at the sight of the law enforcement officials - you need to find a safe spot, or drop to your knees and beg for your unlife if you prefer, but choose one.

Whatever control she had while the beast took over was enough for her to not make a complete and utter fool out of herself by getting on her knees and begging, and instead steering into some odd alleyway to hide behind some garbage cans and cower in fear while everyone else took care of business.

Gabiella made a gesture and tentacles erupted from her shadow, lashing out at the first policeman, knocking him to the ground before he even know what hit him.

Gabriella commanded the Abyss to lash out again, but had to control herself, lest the Beast make a mess. She was able to contain it at the cost of damage. The law enforcement official found it difficult to retaliate, struggling against the tentacles of shadow. Connors punches were brutal as the Beast momentarily took control in a terrible flurry of blows.
