After the initial ourtage of being suddenly attacked subsided, he assesed the situation and came to the conclusion that it looked rather dire if they couldn't manage to control this crowd of attackers quickly. Following Hunferho's lead he decided to give his frontline a little bit more time to deal with deadeye. As the fight was about to start affecting the whole tavern floor, the wizard casted Minor Illusion and used it to create Dead-eye's voice shouting, 'Kill them all! Kill everyone here! Turn this wrechted place upside down.'
Axandros hoped that the other patron's and most importantly Alan's guards wouldn't notice this deception in the middle of the fight and join them in their battle against Dead-eye's men.
(DM's note: normally you cannot use two bonus actions in one turn. Unlike other editions, there is no "downgrade an action" mechanic. I'm alright with it for this fight, but in future Healing Word and Bardic Inspiration are both bonus actions.)
(OOC: Sorry, went brain dead on that one. Don't play bards often.
If it isn't too late for an adjustment, then I'd like to do what I had in mind, before I panicked at seeing Arrow go down:
The inspiration wasn't used this round, so I will commit Hunferho to giving it next round to Khafossi. (The bonus action this round was to heal Arrow.)
Use the action for Vicious Mockery on the pirate leader. WIS save vs. DC 13, or take 1 psychic and disadvantage on next attack roll. )

Seeing Arrow struck down brought down made Pogo more determined to finish this fight as fast as possible. Bringing his mace down again on the one fighting Alea with vigor.
Mace Attack: 18 Damage 6
Feeling a solid connection Pogo shouts to his allies "See these pirates aren't too tough! Dead Eye I'm coming for you!" And readies his shield
(If the pirate he was fighting is downed he will step over it moving closer to the others, if not he will stay still.)

Alea raises her longsword, but the pirate manages to evade the strike.
Axandros calls out with a Minor Illusion to fool the rest of the patrons. (Please make a Charisma Deception check with advantage)
Khofossi brings the weapon up after taking some superficial wounds (9/15), but being pinned by three pirates makes it difficult to swing the weapon correctly.
Arrow slashes at the foot of the pirate as he moves off, then goes for the Dead-Eye's back, taking him off-guard. (Pirate 1: defeated.) (Dead-Eye: 7 damage.)
Pogo brings the mace down on the side of the pirate's face, knocking them out. (Pirate 4: defeated)
Dead-Eye turns to see Arrow back up and attacking. "Learn to stay down, kitty!" He hisses, lunging his scimitar at Arrow, and his dagger at Khofossi. Cutlass vs. Arrow:13 vs. AC. Hit: 7 slashing damage. Dagger vs. Khofossi:13 vs. AC. Hit: 6 slashing damage.
Arrow collapses once again (0/9 HP, dying) and Khafossi is left with a terrible stab wound to the gut. (6/15 HP)
"Hear that?" "Let's get the bastard!" Some of the drunkards leap out at the pirates (the captain and pirates 1-3 make a DC 15 Dexterity Saving Throw or be restrained as people pile on them.)
All three are taken by surprise as the swarm of angry patrons grab ahold of them. (Each of them is restrained, meaning disadvantage on their attack rolls, and you get advantage on your attacks against them. They get to repeat the save at the end of each of their turns.)
Hunferho - Uses a bonus action to give a d6 Bardic Inspiration to Alea. (Khofossi still has his.) "You need to hit them with your sword," says the guy who hasn't attacked yet.
Regular action for Vicious Mockery on Dead-Eye. WIS save vs. DC 13 or he takes 3 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack roll. "You only say you are a feared pirate. You just look like you can't dress yourself."

Realizing that the tide was slowly turning, Axandros hurled a Fire Bolt (Attack: 22 Dmg: 6) at Dead-eye. He hoped that if they killed him fast enough, his goons would turn tail and run.
Alea takes advantage of the crowd, getting a clean slice in on the pirate nearby. (Pirate 3: 8 damage.)
Axandros blasts a bolt of flame into the back of Dead-Eye's head, distracting him. (Dead-Eye: 13 damage.)
Khafossi uses the moment of distracting to bring the geataxe up, slicing into the side of Dead-Eye's face! He is still kicking, as well as screaming in pain as blood pours from the wound. (Dead-Eye: 27 damage.)
Pogo brings his healing hands onto the tabaxi, restoring him to consciousness (9/9 HP)

Arrow creeps up behind Dead-Eye, using the momentary distraction to claw at either side of the pirate captain's face. (Dead-Eye: 37 damage.)
Dead-eye attempts to break free of the drunkards holding him in place. Athletics:13 "Stop yer blunderin' and help yer captain!" He calls out, blood pouring from his facial wounds.

Athletics:15 They manage to free the captain from the angry patrons.
@Hunferho
For future reference, when using two-weapon fighting, the rapier is not a light weapon, so without an appropriate feat cannot be used alongside the dagger. A short sword would work up to that point. In addition, if you two-weapon fight, you do not add your dexterity modifier to the damage roll unless you have the correct figthing style.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.
If either weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon, instead of making a melee attack with it.
Khaffosi growls at Arrow and follows up with another swing at Dead-Eye...
Greataxe Attack: 9 Damage: 16
