Khaffosi looks at Arrow with a 'really?' look.  "Arrow!  The Dead Three.  Bane, Myrkul and Bhaal!  Haven't they caused enough trouble in Baldur's Gate for you to remember them?"

Turning back to the captain, "The Grand Duke is dead or missing?  Ugh, the council and the city are going to have a hayday.  What exactly do you want us to do?"

Arrow shrugs at Khaffosi "Do they owe us money? or have a price on their heads?  I can not be bothered to remember every insignificant faction in this city...." 

Alea looked at the story causing her eyes to widen a bit with shock before going back to original size as she got an idea. Alea looked around the group before looking back at the captain and raising her eyebrow up “so, you need us to look into this and then we’ll be allowed back in the city, that doesn’t sound to unfair to me” Alea then looked over at Khaffosi and then at the captain “how are the dead three related to this“ she said with a raised eyebrow 

Khaffosi looks incredulously at Arrow, "... and that's why Nine-Lives puts me in charge when we are out on business."

Alea rolled her eyes looking at Khaffosi giving him belittling look “you are far from being a leader of this group” 

Khaffosi looks at Alea, "This group?  I don't even want to be in charge of him!" he says as he points at Arrow.

Arrow has lost interest in the conversation and is looking around the room for something now.

“And that’s why you’re not, no one listened to you”

Khaffosi crosses his arms and smirks, "But you listened to me, otherwise you wouldn't have said that."

Arrow chuckles 

Alea rolled her eyes as she looked at him as she had an idea of something to say but didn’t “I mean your commands”

"Commands?"  Khaffosi laughs.  "I"m not a prissy noble telling people to do the dirty work for me.  The only command I've ever given is for him..." Khaffosi points at Arrow, "...to go cough up his hairballs somewhere not near me."

A small flash of anger seemed to flash in her eyes as she leaned towards Khaffosi and looked into his eyes as she tapped her blade “you think is this blade and armor are for simple show”

"They certainly help sell the part....." Arrow replies before coming back to the Captain

"So what is it you want us to do? Hunt these Dead Three? Find your precious coin purse, I mean Grand Duke? Restore order to the city when you cannot?"

Predictably, the rabble started to argue about leadership before the captain even managed to give them a task. "Why don't you calm down and let the good captain here tell us what he exactly wants from us.", Axandros tried to sound not too condescending, but he didn't try all to hard. 

Khaffosi, all to familiar with anger and rage, is amused by Alea's anger.  He taps her armor as he says, "What I think is;  people wear heavy armor like that because they're aren't smart enough to dodge."  Just to stoke the anger a bit more, he adds, "And I thought you use that knife to eat."

The captain slams his gauntlet-covered fist onto the table, causing a loud BANG and slight break in the wood. "ENOUGH!" He calls to the group, trying to get them to settle down. "What I'm employing you for is a different matter. We've had Dead Three cults becoming more active these past few days." His words become more fast-paced as he looses his patience. "I don't have the time or men to look into all of this, which is why I'm getting you to look into this. If you sellswords are worried, there is pay, two hundred gold each should shut you up."

"We thought we'd cut out the problem of the worshippers of Bhaal, Myrkul, and Bane a couple of years ago; apparently we didn't kill them enough. These purveyors of fear and death are taking advantage of the current crisis to commit murder sprees throughout the city. As my appointed deputies in this matter, you’ll have license to kill these wretches on sight. Find their lair, and wipe it out. Eliminate anyone who gets in your way, and don’t worry about collateral damage. If you get this done, you'll get your gold and my gratitude, which I can assure you is worth a lot more than coin."

"Deal...." and with that Arrow spits in his paw and extends it towards the Captain to seal the deal.

Alea looked over at Axandros as she was about to say something before hearing the loud bang from the captain as her anger subsided, however her opinion of the barbarian hadn’t approved ”alright then I suppose, dealing with murderers doesn’t seem to hard” she said the word murderers with distain, they where some of the people actually keeping baldur’s Gate from a better future 

Khaffosi wiggles a finger in his ringing ear, "Seems that armor is good for making noise too.  Captain, that sounds like a straightforward problem with a clear solution and adequate compensation.  I am entirely willing to get rid of these cultists.  Let me out of here so I can get to it.  Arrow, sounds like your cup of tea.  You coming?"
