Emeric collapses under the continued blows from the dwarf and his blazing sword. The ice ray from Meepo strikes the werewolf priest....and then two arrows slice into it and it collapses in a heap as well. Darzin, who takes two more blasts from Mordekai, continues trying to take down Ketch in a rage.
Attack: 11 Damage: 9 and then it's jaws try to close on your forearm, Attack: 23 Damage: 7
The woman hisses, seeing her allies fall, and backs away 60 feet, but still fires a bolt, this one at Ketch. Attack: 17 Damage: 5 + 10 sneak attack damage.
The wizard likewise turns, and rushes off into the forest. In less than 60 feet he vanishes into the thick forest.
Everyone's turn.

Ulthan stares in disbelief at the onslaught of the orchalf, one to not be discounted he thinks. Nonetheless he fires two arrows into the thing fighting him. Arrow1: 16 Damage: 9 Arrow2: 17 Damage: 10
Between the combined attacks of the group, the last Werewolf collapses in a bloody heap, even as the woman with the crossbow rushes off into the woods, over a hundred feet away and well out into the fog.
Ketch's wounds leak, and the huffs of the war horse echo through the dense fog as it stamps it hooves on the ground. The bright light from the sun blade fills the fog with yellowish hue. Mordekai and Ulthan walk back to the group, while Meepo scampers down the slippery old tree trunk and reaches the group. A crowd of skeletons close in on everyone in the sudden silence.

Ketch uses his axe to behead each that they felled here... "You kill me, you don't get to rest whole..." he mutters as he starts. He continues until he's done or conflict with the skeletons happens? 'Cause even if he noticed the advancing bones, he'd assume they were Meepo's and his hatred has him a bit blind to details anyway...
Lionel was bleeding and panting no less than Ketch, so, shared what heal he could (20HP to himself, 15+7 HP to Ketch)
Feeling better he just watched the war-priest decapitating the enemies. "Never killed a werewolf before. Is this how you handle the bodies? Which reminds me - we are going against a vampire and have neither sticks not holy water. While we are here, have to stock up on both. Your arrows were silvered, right Ulthan? Guess we need more of them around here too."
He looked toward the woods: the mage and that bow-woman would surely return one day for vengeance, but it's not like they were friends before, if they mean to attack they would do it anyway. "Good thing we did not go to werewolves before. Let's find that dress and return to Krezk".
"Give ma a day where I know I'll have some peace and I can bless some water...About 10 vials for every day of peace. I cannot silver weapons though."
"And thanks, that feels better... though in time..." Ketch flashes the ring and shrugs a bit. "Though always best ready for the unknown."
"This though," ketch says, indicating the beheadings. "This is personal. They killed me. Just before I met you all, really. So perhaps they did me a favor. Still... They killed me. And back alive or not, I don't take kindly to that."
Meepo scampers up onto one of his skeletons, looking around from the higher perch. "Meepo no sees mage or woman..." He tells the others, though they are likely as tall as he is now, so could have seen that for themselves without his aid. "Meepo think need get dress, search bodies and we go?"
Ketch makes a gruesome pile of heads and you search the werewolves. You find 56 gold, 42 silver, 265 copper. You also find eight javelins and four well made spears. You also find a bit of holly, a couple small silver bells tied together, and a bit of red and green ribbon tied around it all. When you take it out and jingle it around in the air, everything around you seems to sparkle and then they slowly dissolve. A single ray of light shines down through the clouds on all of you for such a brief moment that you're not sure it actually happened.
EVERYONE CAN LEVEL UP.
The group, feeling inspired and with an uncharacteristically positive feeling in their souls reaches the rest of the way through the fog to the city of Vallaki. (leaving the skeleton army behind in the woods). The guards smile and nod, "Welcome back, good to see you all well!" The town appears to be done up for yet another festival, the guard answers the unasked question, "The new Major wanted to go the extra mile with festivals, so now we're celebrating the festival of the wayward star for THREE days. Everyone has to give small gifts to everyone else they meet. So..." he goes over and from a small box pulls out five, rather sad looking red hats with sparse amounts of white cotton glued around their edges, "Also, all visitors hafta wear these....but...it's a good thing. Merry Wayward star festival to ya!"

Meepo was main one searching... If he wants to do an equal distribution it would be: 11 gold, 10 Silver, 57 Copper each...
"By Gruumsh! These bells call forth a ray of light! This could be the key in our upcoming battle against Strahd!!" Ketch says, excitedly.
In town, Ketch gleefully dons the red cap and tried to at least fake being in the spirit of the festival. The last one went sideways right quick, they did not need a repeat of that! Alas, if one is going to be of good cheer, spirits are often called for! And who better to advise where to get a quickie wedding dress than a barkeep??
Lionel was completely agree (on the barkeeper part)! The way to the tavern these days felt like a way home already, but the hats were the final straw for the paladin - he needed a drink. And someone relatively sane to ask about situation in the city and the dress (Urwin seemed to be the best candidate).
Ulthan puts the guard given hat on top of his bear hat after all tradition is important. His first task is to look for the fletcher to make as many silver arrows as he can, but no more than 400. Beyond that while he pays attention to the festivities, he's otherwise oblivious to most customs.
Mordekai puts on the hat and casts Disguise Self to look like himself in the same hat, but the hat now looks brand new and awesome. He sighs to himself with satisfaction. He's not used his favourite trick in some time, and feels like he's been missing a small part of himself slightly.
In other news, he's also going to look around town for some studded leather armour. It shouldn't be a massive detour from the task, especially if Urwin can help direct him to an armourer.
And when he gets a quiet moment, he's going to cast Remove Curse on himself too. He's sick of whispering, and getting strange looks when he smiles at people, and hopes this might be a solution.
[Swapped his Eldritch Invocation back from the one that lets him cast Mage Armor at will to Mask of Many Faces which lets him cast Disguise Self at will instead. It was a core part of who he was as a character, and I regretted swapping it out last time I levelled.]
