Pizazz's Ravenloft and Beyond

"hrmpfh more stab less talk hrmpfh" Ulthan walks past the beholder glancing to see if decided to eat anything magical looking which he'll grab on the way, then approaches Quill and reaches out for bard's hand while holding the dagger like a butter knife in the other. He plans to slice the hand open enough to bleed as in a blood brother pact as opposed to chopping hand off.

The bard sees Ulthan approaching...while Grenk still holds his arm. As soon as the dagger is pulled out by Ulthan, he attempts to pull himself free.

At 6 Ulthan does a light cut across his palm "hrmpfh stop moving cut worse hrmpfh"

Meepo moves up to the bard and starts to wine and cry... "Meepo no like this place..." He says through his blubbering. "Meepo want leave..." He pours it on bigtime...

Using Cower and Beg feature. All of his allies get advantage on their attacks.

A wave of rainbow colors seems to wash across everyone's vision, leaving behind everything...the floor, the walls, the ceiling, even your hair and clothes all bright and random colors. 

Ketch, your action. You're gripping Quill pretty tightly at the moment, Ulthan is moving forward with the dagger.....and Meepo is causing quite a distracting whine...

((The Rainbow Brite colors come from a specific direction?))

     Ketch just continues holding Quill, trying to keep him from moving away as Ulthan approaches.

Quill's attitude suddenly shifts, his eyes smolder and his face darkens and almost growls at Ketch and says, "Your race is an embarrassment across the cosmos, the tainted blood line of a fumblingly useless race existing only to set the low bar to compare every achievement against, and you are a fool amongst even those bar, rude, moronic, unable to comprehend the simplest of concept, the vacant stare of a useless life revealing the total lack of a soul..."  as he hurls these insults, they seem to burn in your ears and mind.  (DC 17 Wisdom save or take 53 psychic damage.)

His dagger slips from a sheath into his hand and he twists his arm attempting to wrench free. Ketch, make an Athletics check vs DC 5

(Just a remainder about +3 to saves from Lionel's aura)

(If it is a spell, then Meepo will counterspell it...)

     Ketch laughs at the insult and shrugs, tightening his grip upon the bard as he does. "We're mongrels, but we're scrappy...  And I love a good scrap," he responds with a smile.

(not a spell, an ability).   He tries to stab Ketch with his dagger. Attack: 9 Damage: 6. Apparently frustrated by the orc's grip on him, and him laughing off his horrific insults.....he swings the dagger haphazardly and misses.  He's spluttering and hissing in rage at the moment...

Mordekai, Lionel, and Ulthan, your actions.

"I am incredibly sorry it had to come to that," Lionel with the very genuine sadness raised his hand and said the holy words of the holding payer (Hold Person Wis save DC15)

Quill continues struggling, ignoring Lionel's attempt to freeze his body...... 

Mordekai, Ulthan? 

As a bonus action, Mordekai will transfer Hex onto Quill, affecting his Dex-based checks. Then Mordekai will use his Fey Presence ability to attempt to charm him (DC17 WIS save) and say, "I told you, we're friends, and we are trying to help you."

Ulthan will try to make this quick, albeit as before not trying to kill the guy unless of course the dagger is poison then you know...

if miss, he will slash again lightly.

Sigh ignore second damage rolls, no advantage there obviously.
