The little dragon seems conflicted when you mention Zaldara. In Taman's mind:
I will not go with you, but I'll tell you how to find the book. She is not the wizard she once was. We argued until I tried to leave; she imprisoned me at least instead of killing me.
Be wary: Take the left tunnel; do not touch the crystals. The Kraken door has a tiny rune upon it; scratch it out, then open the door. Be quick but very quiet; she has ghouls patrolling the basement. Through the Kraken door, go north up the hallway until it opens into a bigger, curved chamber. The room is noxious; beware. Stay to the right, take the door on the right. It will be locked. Inside, the book is in the chest, protected by a ghost and the pillar traps. The pillars can be disarmed by pushing the button at the bottom of them.
Thank you for freeing me, I can be of no further help to you.
The little dragon flies out the tunnel toward the Diviner and Calabrax.
Taking his directions from Taman, the adventurers move back through the pink crystal chamber to the Kraken door.

"Thank you, little friend!" Cimeri hugged dragon one last time and let him go not without regret - he was a dream companion (now that she would not dare to call him "pet")! (If Taman can use Guidance on himself, then he has as much chances to roll well as Cimeri - same Wis score)
Raman finds a tiny rune hidden amongst the waves on the Kraken door. Flynn uses mage hand to scratch the tune away with a dagger and quietly open the door. Before them is a stretch of hallway about 25 feet long; the hallway terminates to the north by opening into a larger chamber. On the left side of the hallway, prior to the larger chamber, are two doors.
"Elonast said "stay to the right, take the door on the right", he did not mean that doors, right? And also said the room will be "noxious"? Let's try it!" Cimeri tried to be very quiet: Stealth23 + 10

The group walks forward, uncannily; most are still not used to treading and generating no noise, nor are they used to the feel of the earth accommodating their feet as they pass. The move past the two doors, to where the hallway opens into a larger chamber. Cimeri, in the lead, takes in the situation and relays it to those behind her.
[I'm assuming that Taman has preemptively put his lit stone into his rucksack to not alert any guards]
The room ahead not only smells horridly of rotting meat, but also the air burns to breathe. Green gas leaks from the stones overhead.

Cimeri hears the squelching and slurping sounds of more than one creature devouring something around the corner.
She was told to keep right until they come to the door and that is what she was intending to do. Cimeri covered her nose and mouth with the sleeve of her robe and tried to go forward.
Taman stifles a cough as some of the noxious gas gets into his lungs [You are Poisoned til the END of next round].
The group moves forward quietly until they can just see around the bend; two ghouls are intently gobbling up the remains of a humanoid, it's impossible to say what kind amidst the blood and gore. Cimeri sees the door to right, opposite the ghouls. If they're lucky they might be able to sneak past the ghouls to the door, though the door looks solid and is probably locked. Though focused on the door on the right, the adventurers notice there is also a door to the north and west, behind the Ghouls.

"Seems like we go into the northern chamber there..." Taman says, nodding forward.
Taman and Flynn can add +10 from pass without trace too, I believe.
