That was a long day - a lot to think about, meditate too. But not now, at the morning. Cimeri was a tired as everyone else and allowed herself to simply fall asleep - Aldani promised safety and she believed it. Her last great deed for today was to thank Celtra for turning her hand-wraps into the improvised fist weapon by encrusting it with silver. After that it was all rest.
Bryn would work on some physical training and complete some stretches before settling down for a meal. She'd summon 3 [Tooltip Not Found] and distribute them amongst those who'd like one. The druid would eat her meal in silence and settle in for the evening.

Several days pass, as you slide through the Aldani tunnels for hours at a time and then camping in Aldani safehouses. Evenings are spent staring into the fire or at each other; travel in silence for hours, sliding through mud, chewing on 'Cradrook' as the Aldani call it, is rough on the psyche. By the third day, you realize your pace must be so much faster than the weretigers could possibly move; the relief of that anxiety allows the time to pass much more easily. Cimeri ends up meditating through most of it, as you all do in some degree to stand the time alone.
The Aldani are very quiet and not social in any way, deflecting any such advances with silence. But their genorousity is impressive; three other clan members follow behind you all with your belongings and even the canoe. The physics or magic of the tunnels is a strange one.
The mid-morning of the fifth day finds you and your belongings, and the canoe, deposited back in the jungle-edge with the swamp, the water of Aldani Lake behind you. Nature is a blow to your senses. Bugs buzz, reptiles croak, the heat, the humidity, the smells of fungi and moist earth and decay and life. Sweat rolls down your back, you apply bug repellent and adjust your armor as the same Aldani who led you all this way sinks back into the swamp after a quiet moment staring into each of your eyes.
The cone of Hrakhamar Volcano peeks through the holes in the foliage to the south, belching ash into the wet sky. Your destination. Are the weretigers near? Are they on your trail? Surely not. Even Azaka seems confident. Hopeful, perhaps.
You are three days from Hrakhamar moving stealthily, or two days if hustling with abandon. Each day requires three successful skill tests from three of you of DC 15, 17, and 20. You choose who performs them and how you use your skills, and narrate them. Aiding gives advantage on the roll but has to make sense narratively.
Fulcra spends the evenings meditating. He finds the darkest corner in the little caves and seems to sit in silent focus for a few hours. In the day, the travel through the tunnels seem to take their toll on him. You find that he spends a good amount of time pacing around when the group emerges from the tunnels each day, muttering to himself and shaking his hands out as if they were covered in dirt. In the morning before the tunnel travel he does the same, often breathing deeply as if trying to calm himself. In the evenings he's unusually quiet, which is to say he only talks like a normal person and doesn't run his mouth off. Despite being worried about his reaction to the travel, the group can't help but feel a bit relieved about the lack of verbal noise he's producing.
As the group emerges to the jungle edge, Fulcra's face seems to glow. He wears a crooked smile and seems to almost be skipping about the jungle as he quickly bats away a spider web he's walked through and then slaps his neck. He quickly pulls out his bug repellant. As he sees their hosts departing, Fulcra bows deeply to the Aldani, and says solemnly, "Your kindness is matched by your impressive ways. Best of luck friends, best of luck."
As their last eye stalk sinks away under the water and a few errant bubbles on the surface pop leaving only silence, Fulcra makes a fist pump motion and seems to have a quiet celebration that involves some hopping and jumping. FInally he turns to the group, "Wow. Such good fortune. I could scream out loud with joy. Not only are we probably not going to get murdered tonight by some weretigers, we also don't have to travel in mud tunnels anymore. The inverse relationship of safety and speed of travel to lack of safety and chances of being horribly killed seem to be equally tied in my mind to the horror of moving through mud sucking tunnels all day. I mean, half the time I was sure it wasn't just mud, you know. There was other stuff in those tunnels. And I don't mean like, weeds, I mean like, other living slinky slimy things. We should get moving. MAN it feels good to have gotten that done. Amazing. Just amazing." He walks over to the edge of the swamp and vomits. A few moments later, swishing water from his water skin around his his mouth and spitting it out loudly he says, "I feel AMAZING. Alright, let's get going."
After getting his nearly frantic expulsion of energy out, he pulls out the soul catcher and looks about. "That way...it's that way...let's make the most of this lead on the weretigers."

"Are we still heading to the silver mines then?" Taman asks as the group gathers outside of the last of the mud tunnels. He has decided he needs to return to the lobster folk some day and learn more about this travel magic of theirs.
(Taman will be using his portent rolls for the 1st and 3rd day checks. He will also be casting guidance on whomever is making the checks.)
On the first day Taman uses his knowledge of nature to help get them moving in the right direction. using his 11 from his portent, plus 5 from his prof, gives a 16 for the check Add on guidance of 3
Fulcra speaks up, "Well. We've got a bit of a lead. Why don't we head straight for our real objective instead? The change in direction could also throw the weretigers off. Just a thought."

"The silver mine was to get something to use when they catch up with us." Taman says with a shrug. "It doesn't really affect me, since I'll just use magic, but having true silvered weapons might be a bigger issue for our warriors."
"I think they are aware of our primary destination," gave Cimeri her thoughts, "don't they? Though, it is not hard to guess we can stop at silver mines either, if they are familiar with these parts of jungles. Still, true silver weapon will be better than makeshift if we can get it. Who knows what is awaiting us further."The fight with the ghost left a long lasting impression. Cimeri was not sure silver weapon would help back there, but the memory of being completely helpless still haunted her. "I am for visiting mines first."
"I am undecided. Having silver weapons makes sense, and I could do so but, do we have the time... the equipment? To make a decent weapon takes days, weeks depending on what it is and alot of noise and equipment. Unless they have the equipment at the mine, clubs and spear/arrow heads are likely the best I can do on a short time table." Celtra says.
"I was under the impression the mines were in use, and we would be purchasing the end-product, not making it ourselves." Taman said, with a glance to Azaka.
Azaka steps forth with a strong opinion. "We do not know how far away this SoulMonger is to the south. 30 more miles? 100? 200? The clan will catch us sooner or later. Best to be well armed and ready." She scratches her head. "The way Musharib told it, the mine was active," she says turning from Fulcra to Taman, " but not friendly. I have had few dealing with any beings such as fire newts but in the tales I've heard they are evil creatures. At least, that was how Musharib described them. He would go on and on about its glory and the tools and workings there. There will be equipment, likely in use. I believe he used to say Silver, Iron, and Adamantine were mined nearby and brought there for smelting into ingots befyou ore the volcano exploded, drove them out, and the fire newts moved in."
She turns to Celtra. "I was hoping they would have molten silver and we all could dip our weapons to make a coat on top. Will it be more elaborate than that, do you think?"
Turning to the group, "Let me know when you have a final choice on the path ahead; tell me where we will go and if we move quietly or quickly."

The portent rolls Taman has made will count for use, as will his Nature check; feel free to use it for a DC20 check on the first day.
Try to not repeat any skill checks per day or per player; this is to simulate the fact that everyone helps out on a journey, even those not suited to travel. Use your imagination, think creatively, picture the jungle setting, and feel free to narrate what you're seeing and how you're helping your party. Almost anything helps; stealth checks to hunt, perception checks to avoid a nasty critter, athletics checks for tree climbing to look around, Nature to orient by moss growth... you get the idea hopefully?
Here are the remaining Portent rolls that can be used in a disaster:
Day 1 ... 15
Day 2 ... 4 and 6

You can assume Taman will cast Guidance so add a D4 to appropriate rolls.

Celtr frowned at Azaka's comment about dipping weapons into silver and it being good enough. She brings her hand up and pinches the bridge of her nose and scrunched her eyes. "Dipping out weapons wont really work. I mean for like a club sure, you dip it or put some silver rivets in it and it's not terrible. For something like a blade... no. The core or original weapon will be hard and dipping it in molten silver will not cause the two to bond."
"You need to pound on the hot silver to give it harness but that will shatter the solid core." She begins to pace a little then stops. "But there is another technique... we take a piece of iron or steel and get it hot, red hot, and then a thicker sheet of silver and sandwich the steel core between the two and then alternate between beating it with a hammer and heating it. This should bond the metal together, give it a little more hardness than solid silver, and be less expensive. With the right tools and a forge I think I could do it ... but it will take time."

During one of the days Celtra will straight up try and cut a path through brush using athletics if acceptable.
"What do ya mean? Climbing is just pushing the mountainside down," she responds to Fulcra.
"Good teamwork." Taman informs the group, impressed by how they came together to get this issue resolved.
When they get into the underground safehouse, he would settle down for some rest, listening to the others talk, but keeping his own council for now.
