"I see you did not make it far," Looking through the bar to find the woman from earlier standing in the audience area. She pushes up her glasses and points her wand in your direction before three blazing rays of magic fires pass those at the gate, striking the glowing figures.

Seeing the Gator in the fog, Onyx will drop his bow and draw his second short sword. He will dart in , trying to land 2 strikes and then retreat again.

Onyx slaughters the Gator from behind. The gator attempts to roll as Onyx strikes into it despite the screaming of the lizard folk rider, which beomes a bloodstain on the wall as dies midspin, letting go of Tundra from it's mouth. 

"I see I was a bit hasty," She commented before with a wave of her hand, a slender hand appears and grabs something out of sight. The Iron bars lowers into the ground allowing you into the fighting pit.  

Without a scream, Tundra falls bloodied on the floor, her wounds looking more like holes than injuries and her face completely mangled by the massive reptile teeth. The faint blue tinge of her skin fades out to quickly settle into grey tones, her tail trembling for a few moments. Soon, the whole of her form turns limp and motionless. 

Mai casts healing word on Tundra.

The woman watches you all from the spectator area, "I had a discussion with what passes for a mage in this Scales outpost. I take it you are new to the valley? May I ask when realm are you all from?" 

(You can do whatever you want first, she'll start questioning you when you get into the pit area)

"Well met, again."  Gotch says to the woman, bowing and releasing his Fog Cloud spell as he moves into the pit.  "I, at least, am from the Material Plane, formerly of the city of Waterdeep on the Sword coast."  gotch conjures a comfortable chair with a wave of a hand and takes a seat.  "Thank you for the aid with that gator there, it was fairly foolish of us i am afraid, to come down a tunnel that only managed to lead us back to where we started."

In her moments of unconsciousness, time and space begin to loose all meaning. She sees her thoughts extinguishing one by one, her consciousness fading and her body beginning to loose meaning. For what seems like an eternity, this is all there is, her and an expensive voidness, inter-spaced by feelings of a strange comfort, unlike any experienced before.
Soon, those feelings coagulate into images, sounds, voices, seemingly cacophonous, stripped of their familiarity. Quickly, new layers of activity begin to reform. Until her first fully formed thought echoes throughout her mind.

She thinks it once, then twice, then it repeats, endlessly, until space begins to mean something again. A spiral of pain passes through her violently, as her senses begin to function.
She didn't remember her wounds hurting before, but now it does. It hurts so much it stops registering as anything. It hurts so much, she has no breath left to scream. It hurts so much, she doesn't notice Mai's effort to heal her.
Until it gets better. Progressively, she can feel it lessening, until it becomes manageable, almost a parody of what it was.
She motions a sign of relief. With difficulty, words come out of her mouth.

"Th-There had to be more lizards right? ... An ever shifting plane could have had Eladrins, but no, there had to be a giant geck... obviously..."
She then notices the lady. Suddenly standing upright, she asks "Are you an Eladrin?"

"So Forgotten Realms for you," She speaks to Gotch, not taking a moment to notice his goblin nature, before turning to Tundra, "I am a human from a realm called Kaladesh,."

(Kaladesh is just for flavor, will not be using it as usable material. If you dont want to decide on origin, we can leave it for later through it doesn't too much meaning)

"Ah, very unfortunate, I've been told many things about the Eladrins, not so much about Kaladesh. I'm from Sigil. Perhaps you'd know where we are, by any chance? Maybe a way to get out? If not back where we came from, somewhere with less lizards?"

"well if we're talking about where we're from I'm from Eberron. An alchemist extoradanar" he said proudly 

"Sigil and Eberron, quite the rag tag group. AS for where, we're in the valley, a demiplane that likes to collect things, people and even gods," She explains, "There is a door if you want to leave this outpost. Leaving is  the Valley is . . .  impossible. At least intentional planar travel to this location and travel from this location is impossible. Any attempt to escape has been failure, Maybe if you die, you'll be able to leave but no one has return to let us know. Less lizard is easier, just find a city out of the swamps, Scales like to operate in them,. Managed to find a compass?"

"WHAT... we can't be stuck here... I have lots of inventions to go back to and people who are gonna miss me... AND MY INVENTIONS" he said a bit worried "unless this place has enough stuff"

Seeing that there is no danger at the moment, Onyx decides to ignore the others for the moment and turns his attention to more pressing matters, like starting to dismantle the giant gator. Meat from the tail, skin for leather and a few teeth as trophies. 

"The Valley has much more I believe they call it technology then even Eberron until a few centuries from your point of view," She stated, "The Citadel is one of the neutral safe havens and most advance cities in the valley should you not be seeking trouble within the city. As for lizards, might be a few days at most before other Scales companies come to claim this outpost, for their own,"

Onyx manages to cut the crocodile's leathery hide from it's body and he lacks the tools to preserve it at the moment. He knows either need to find the right tools leather work tools, or some  magic to keep the leather from rotting in a few days. Onyx does managed to cut from meat from the bone and some teeth for trophy but as he is pulling and tugging the hide off, you find the lantern that the rider was carrying, completely undamaged despite the it's former owner being a bloodstain on the wall.  

After finishing collecting his loot, Onyx will join the others.

“Greetings again ma‘m, thank you for your help.  Unfortunately we are a bit lost here. You are the second person who mentioned this compass. We were not able to find one as of yet, maybe you could redirect us to the next city were we may aquire one?“

"I can give your direction without a compass you will get lost unless you find a Guide or some divination magic," She looks at her trinkets and pulls up several chained cylinders similar to the ones at the "outside" door. She starts muttering to herself as she looks at each of these cylinders, "This place is Legion. This place is Knights city," She ignores you as she keep pulling a new chain and another cylinder appears from somewhere.

"well we should head to this citadel immediately to check it out and get somewhere safer"

"Hmp..." Gotch says getting up.  He waves his hand and the chair disappears.  With another hand wave a compass appears in his hand.  "What do we do with the compass now?" He asks the lady.  "Which direction should we head?"
