The Valley of Ends

I was thinking to move along the water elemental to the north east corner, shoot the two arrows from there and then move west and south around or onto the altar to be behind Ergion. Feline Agility should give enough mvs (i get even more once i trigger Zephyr Strike) and Zephyr prevents AoO. 

Zephyr may stop opporunity attacks it doesn't change if you run through a bonfire. Party is scattered south and the area to the east of Ergion are walls. (Thick black lines are walls)

I'll do it anyway. I go through the fire and use my reaction to cast absorb elements

That gives me fire resistance till the start of my next turn and adds 5 fire damage to the critical hit (most likely useless anyway). 

REfaen grunts form the attack and takes a step closer to the paladin swinging her battleaxe as she goes.

Battleaxe #1: Attack: 15 Damage: 5 Divine favor: 4

"Thanks!", Fingolin says after Onyx saves him from a certain hit. Focusing on Ergion again, he casts Dissonant Whispers(lvl2) again.

(i would say he got an 19 or 20 Ac, so my 13 even with bardic is unlikely to hit 😭) 

A shield of green energy appears from Onyx's sinister lantern in front of Finloglin which takes the greenish black flames from Ergion.

Resfaen steady herself before charging in with her own axe strikes, the first missing but the second strikes hard accompanied by a burst of her radiant energy.

Onyx jumps pass the corner of the fire before firing two arrows into Egion. The firstarrows misses but second arrows strikes into his neck but he remains standing. 

Fingolin sends some creepy and stuble whispers into Ergion's ears but he ignores the words. 

Wis Save: 25

The Water elemental reach out of its pool once more, attempting to strike Fingolin.

Slam Attack: 26 Damage: 11

The wall next to Onyx suddenly punches out at him as if the room was his enemy.

Salys will fire two quick shots at Ergion, ordering Bearskr to dodge

Salys tries to fires shoots pass Resfaen and the bonefir ewhile covers much of Ergion to point his shots misses him.

Gotch attempts to fire his own through through the bonfire but founds similar lack of success as Saly's bullets.

Ergion lifts the whip over his head as he spins and whips it as he spin, striking at Onyx on his back and Resfaen in front before turning and whipping Onyx once more. (Fire damage is not overcomes Onyx's momentarily resistance to fire)

Attack on Onyx: 9 Damage: 10 + 2 Fire damage

Attack on Resfaen: 13 Damage: 8 + 4 Fire damage

Attack on Onyx: 19 Damage: 10 + 2 Fire damage

On the first strike, Onyx is almost blinded by a flash of light as Ergion smites him for additional 5 radiant

(Have decided not to use flanking rules since we don't really play on grids and stuff. If you want to give Resfaen advantage on her next attack, you would need to help)

Resfaen swears under her breath and then starts to utter a spell casting aid on Onyx, Gotch and herself.

"Come on people let's get this guy down."

yes, Aid increases  max hp by 5 and then gives them those 5 hp/. 

Onyx will bloody hiss at the demon paladin, before geting up, casting Zephyr strike, moving as far away as possible (northwest corner) and shoot two radiant arrows.

Not having any better idea at the moment, Fingolin uses the same spell, hoping to give Resfaen another opportunity to attack.

Then, Fingolin assumes his Mantle of Inspiration affecting Resfaen, Onyx, Salys and himself with 8 temporary HP, and uses the distraction to move 10 ft West, away from the elemental.

Resfaen holds up her holy symbol and let cast her spells among among her allies, bolstering up and raising another from near death. Onyx casts Zepher and became a blur as he races away and fires another two arrows. One strikes hard and the second strikes into his neck again.

Ergion roars as a stream of abyssal curses stream out. He turns to send a death glare at Onyx before his body  emits a bright green fiery aura as his eyes rolls to the back of his head and the aura jumps from him into the lantern around Onyx's belt. Ergion's body drops dead to the ground, mostly unharm expect for all the damage inflicted from weapons. The bonfire slowly dies down.

The Water element ocassion makes a grab for someone but doesn't leave it's poool of water, rendering it's threat level low. 

"I'd suggest staying away from the tub there." Gotch suggests as he straightens up from his position along one wall.  he looks around, watchful for any other threats.  "Shall I try to cast detect magic once again?"
