The Valley of Ends

Salys looks around the room curiously before casting see invisibility on himself to see if anything is magically hidden here.

Salys casts the spell and peers into the Ethereal is spooked as he finds himself face to face ghostly tanned woman sitting on the sarcophagus watching the party move around befoer seeing Salys lookin at her before it hair raises like it's got a mind of it's own and it screams at Salys as her face twists and convulted into a horrifying visage.

Wis Save: 13 for Salys 

OOC: think original ghostbusters when library ghost scares them.

Salys wis save: 10 (If advantage for it being magic: 21)

Regardless, if able, Salys would have informed the others of what he saw immediately.

"Looks like we are too late here as well..." Gotch mutters as he looks over the foot tracks. "Still thinkw e are waisting our time, those who were here got what they came for and then ran away..."

Salys lets out a scream as he starts hiding in the corner, curling up into as small as a ball as he can while pointing at shaking finger at the sarcophagus. (give me another wisom save which will take place after everyone speaks/does their pieces along side Onyx's search. Before your eyes, you see Salys's hair starts to gray and his skin pales. 

Effect:

 Just waiting for Fingolin's action before next set of actions. 

[Fingolin can't see the ghost, right?]

Seeing Salys act like that and pointing to the sarcophagus, Fingolin goes to his side and casts Faerie Fire centered on the sarcophagus.

Salys wis save: 20

(Good thing gnomes have long lives.)

Ghost Dex Save: 11 - Result: Miss I believe.

As a response, the ghostly figurees appears in front of everyone now and seems to shrieking at the party as a whole in a tongue no one understands but the tone seem to be her lectures or berating the party at length. 

Salys slowly uncurls as he forces his heartrate to calm and his resolves strengthned through will. 

Gotch lifts a hand, sending 3 magical darts into the ghost...

Seeing a barrage of missile, she almost lazily waves her hand and a Shield forms to block the missiles before she points her finger at Gotch and he becomes the target of her berating in a foreign language. 

While she is focused on Gotch, Fingolin casts Enhance Ability on himself to become more charismatic (Eagle's Splendor). 

He raises his palms in a calming gesture: "Let's calm down. Does anyone understand what she is saying?"

If no one understands, he'll continue: "Pardon our intrusion, my lady, and our defensive reactions, we were startled. Do you understand me?" He'll ask the question in the various languages he knows to get the message across.

Persuasion check (disvadntage from language barrier but advbantage from enchanement caancel out)

"Careful Fingolin, undead can not be trusted." Resfaen warns as she retreats a bit farther away pulling out her battleaxe.

The ghost seem to consider for a moment, pausing in it's berating before casting a spell on itself.

"Wretched peasants do not know the tongue of pharaohs I see," She states, "I can see you are not tomb raiders but are not subjects of the kingdoms. State your business in my tomb,"

"I am not undead I merely bound this tomb," She spits back at Fesfaen. 

"We are not tomb raiders, I see you have a keen eye. I am Fingolin, and these are ... ", he makes introductions, "We were tasked to chase away raiders from the ruins above ground, but they just vanished before we could mount the attack. We are now making sure they are not hiding in this place. Have you seen anyone passing by recently, my lady? And might I ask what is your name?" 

"Passing by? They took everything! My body! My Heart! My Breath! My Hunger," She goes into a enraged screams as she points out the broken pots and coffin, "Do dare to pretend not to know of me! I am the Witch Queen! Thayihneh! The Legion Maker!"

(I guess Salys at least hasn't)

Salys bows to the ghost for a moment, "My apologies, your majesty, I was so startled by your appearance that I forgot my manners. I'm afraid to say that we're all strangers to this realm, indeed, I suspect that your tomb here has been not only robbed, but taken from your homeland as well. I'm sorry to say that I have not heard of your greatness, but I will not forget now that I have."

Resfaen History: 2

Resfaen hesitates but lowers her battleaxe for the moment.

Resfaen herself hasn't heard of her but the Witch Queen title is not given lightly and indicated a spellcaster of great power. First name that comes to Resfaen is Witch Queen of Perrenland Iggwilv or better known as Tasha, creator and namesake of many spells. It's easy to tell this woman isn't same legendary status as Tasha, as someone called a Witch Queen, not someone to cross likely.

Thayihneh seems to ponder Salys for a moment before continuing, "I have a task for you. Return my body and I shall grant you a boon, all of you. Vanquished those who defiled my holy tomb and even worst taken my very body with them,"
