Carefully opening the door to reveal another study but no body this time and in much better condition then the floor below. There's a rotten bed, desk, cabinet and chest that is better condition on the rest of the room.

Salys will move forward to investigate the chest, if it looks clear, he'll open it up while the others search the rest of the room.

Salys finds no traps or similar around the chest but a tug reveals it's locked. 

Salys pulls out his tools to try and open the lock.

Thieves' Tools: 27 + guidance: 1

Salys works the lockets and just narrowly hears the faint click and the lid opens up slightly. Opening the chest, several scrollss and a book. A quickl looks throughm the scrolls seem to be some kind of research on some kind of powerful relics but the scrolls are in decay, many of the words eaten away by time. The book is mostly empty pages but better conidition then the scrolls that seem to refer to the clues from the enduring spellbook.

Robin searches through the desk. Investigation: 17 Guidance: 4

Robin looks over the desk and makes out a hidden compartment which opens after poking around the desk's parts and chancing upon the trigger, opening the hidden compartment with almost a hiss as a metal box is revealed. Managing to find more pages with hastily scribbled notes.

A throughout search of the room reveals no more hidden compartments or message or items. How do you wish to proveed?

"Back out to the hall and on to the next door then." Robin says.

Only the metal door leading to the rock room reminds on the floor.

Salys shrugs, "Looks like we're going up another floor."

"Lead the way, so far this place does not seem to be as dangerous as we were led to believe." Resfaen says, "Well except for the huge legs walking over and through buildings."

Opening the metal door and stepping inside has no immediate reaction from anything within, Exploring the large room reveals no exits, stairs or escapes.

Onyx still looks around for hidden dangers: 10

Onyx searches for things out of place and he takes notice of a small corner of a paper or scroll, slightly waving from under the left pile of rocks. 

Robin also looks around closely... Perception: 22 Guidance: 4 (If investigation instead, then add 4.)

Robin sees the same scroll as Onyx at the same time. She can see pen marks on the scrolls but majority is under the boulder and rocks. She sees air current seem to come out from underneath the boulder as well. 

"Any of you burly types want to try to move that boulder there?" Robin asks, nodding to the boulder atop the paper. She stands back, not quite certain of the safety of this chamber, even when nothing has yet shown itself to attack them.

Onyx takes an arrow and aims, waits a second and then shoots it at rock (unless someone stops him).

He then said: "I can give a hand.“ And he moves closer to help.

Resfaen places the Axe handle on her belt as she walks over getting closer to the rock.

"Prepares yourselves." As she goes to move the rocks.
