Kirin - Level 15 High Elf Wizard (Evocation) - Zorg's Lost Souls - Overchannel Steel Wind Strike for the Win against Demogorgon Silas - Level 11 Human Cleric (War Domain) - Tomb of Annihilation Done
Before everyone ready themselves for bed, Raynor calls for everyone's attention, "Friends, we've been traveling for so long, eating what we finds and what has been dried, smoked, salted, gods know how else they prepare these rations. I've arrange a small nice meal for us and the Temple has allows us a small hall for this occasion. So if you could follow me," Raynor leads the group through a few hallways then they come to a door, a bit distance from most of the work and people of the temple, where you smell a delicious whiff of food.
"Here we go," Raynor opens up the door to reveal a moderate sized room that could hold up to a dozen people. A long table has been set in the middle with various dishes set out on it. As it's centerpiece is a roasted bird with bowls of soup, a pitcher of wine. a few loafs of bread and many other dishes laid on the table for consumption.

Before taking a seat Raynor's eyes will excitedly bounce from dish to dish as he approaches his seat. Grabbing a cup Raynor will raise it towards the group "To us... and figuring out what's going on and getting home!"
The party a but late into the night, eating and enjoying yourselves. With the plates empty and belly full, the party return to their rooms for sleep. After later than normal, the party wakes up, slowly packs their packs for the journey to Turl.
The two days along the mountain paths are uneventful beyond a few flying creatures taking peeks at you but flying off soon after. on the second day, you find a plateau to set up on camp for the night, from which the party can see the city. From this far out, you can see the ruined state of the once walled up city, destroyed towers, crumbled walls easily spotted from afar. The journey to the city shouldn't take more than half a day but how will you try to transverse the city.
From the map, you're coming from the eastern walls. You've been told about bandits, various monsters and even an odd demon has been spotted in the city.

Onyx watches the once round citywall from afar, the houses inside make it look like a honeycomb feom here. I assume the river that cuts from north to south through the middle would work as entrance to the sewers?
Water is flowing from south to north. You've been informed the river entrances to city are heavily fortified as bandits camps are up on these points. Marhian say to get to sewer is just get through the wall and find a sewer entrance which comes into the river within the city.

With no anyone saying for or against beside Sewers, Sewers it is.
Need marching order then a perception and stealth check from everyone as everyone moves towards the city's peimeter. Also any preparation you want to do before setting off.

(Seems that we have to get into the city either way, so we can always decide sewer or streets based on what we find inside... Gotch is up for either, but does not have enough information, outside of the city, to make a definite decision there...)
Before going in though Gotch casts mage armor on himself.
Lyrant uses Vigilant Blessing on herself to for an advantage on the next initiative roll. Before going in, she looks for a rock to cast her Light cantrip on and puts it in a closed pouch so she can use it for light when necessary.
I think Lyrant’s set. What do you guys say?
Raynor is set

Lyrant agreeably nods to that. “Kind as our hosts have been, I have my own people to return to. Cheers to that.”
