SirSmokieMcPot suddenly realizes that he's standing all alone at the top of the pit -- everyone has helped someone else down. "Oh well...more weed for me I guess..." he thinks for a minute, until he realizes that he's needed for his damage-soaking-blubber down with the rest of the crew. Laying prone in a pile of equipment (mainly smoking implements like bongs, tweezers, etc.), Alfred uses his fighter skills (Second Wind) to heal himself: 10 hit points.
Blade just stares at this then returns to ignoring the dwarf. While everyone rests, he checks the area and makes sure it's safe and if there's anything of note there.
You land into what looks like a nightmare. Crimson streams spill from above and form a shallow pool of blood in the center of the chamber. A yawning, black portal dominates the southern wall of the chamber. Something strains against the darkness within, as if it were a thin film keeping back a vicious clawed beast. A circle of blazing runes has been inscribed on the floor before the portal.
Opposite the portal, a massive statue of Orcus stands. It points toward the darkness with a skull-capped wand. To the west, steps rise to a platform where a pit is flanked by two smaller statues of Orcus. To the east, another set of steps ascends to a 10 foot high ledge supporting an altar of bone and several wide pillars. A human wearing a horned helm and carrying a skull-capped rod stands behind the altar. His eyes are closed, and a book rests open before him. He chants a low, droning prayer.
Aside from Kalarel, massive skeletal sentinels close in on you, and tentacles from the portal slither and lash out. Two things need to be achieved: killing Kalarel, and closing the portal.
Lucina readies her blade with blue lightning and holds her stance!

Spacey will set out into the shadows to investigate the portal and the runes for any possible hints to how she could mess with the ritual. The amnesiac wonders, Could I slide on in across them runes and scratch em up? Nah, that’s gotta be too easy. Oh look tentacles. Do we feed it? What did Lucina offer Squiddles... he seemed to like it.
