"Sure Order of the Gauntlet guys, stranger than usual magical happenings, anything that seems different than the normal run of the mill jungle stuff." Leann says with a nod to the guides. "We will be heading into the jungle, and will be hiring a guide, so the group will definitely be checking out that card you gave me and I will tell them how helpful you were, as well as how knowledgeable..."
Ivas scratches his chin for a moment, pretending to consider the woman's words, though in truth he has no idea what it might mean.
"Well, listen lady, err, Inete! It's probably going to be pretty dangerous where we're going! Can you fight?" he asks.
As he speaks with her he begins to continue back towards the meeting point, expecting that the woman will walk with him. If nothing else, she can relay whatever vision she had to his companions, who might know better what to make of it.
You come to the bazaar and the source of the smells, stalls and stores and all varieties are here, many of them selling fruit and vegetables. Other sellers include meat, insect repellent and other general goods for life in the port town.
Leann
"Why, thank you endlessly for your consideration of our service. Now, those gauntlet guys came in only recently made a camp and declared they would rid the jungle of undead, they lost that one and moved on to a second encampment further into the jungle.
Ivas
The woman considers the question "I can a little, got a few spells I know but I couldn't make it on my own. That's why I need to head out with adventurers like you! I won't be a bother, I'll provide my own food and water. If that's not enough, I, I could donate 100 gold to the expedition!"
Although largely unfamiliar with the exchange of money, Dorno watches others hand over coin and receive goods in return. He studies the exchanges carefully from afar, his tongue sticking out one corner of his mouth at times. When ready he eventually approaches and gently bends down and holds out a gold, gesturing to the fruits and vegetables he wants to try.
The firbolg does the same at a stand selling supplies, trying to buy rope and asking what the insect repellent is.
(Hmm. 7-1 Plaugg thinks to himself. That might be too good to pass up, I may need to do the race. Eh, how hard could it be....)
"7-1 eh. I must say, that is enticing for sure fellas, but it would have to be worth my while. How big of a bet are you guys going to place and how can I be sure I'll get my share of the winnings?"
"Oh no no, we couldn't take all your money like that! It's already great that you want to help! I'll stay by your side and defend you to the last, if I must. That's... that's what us adventurers do!" Ivas reassures Inete, trying to make his voice a bit gruffer on the last statement. "The rest of the party should be coming back before too long, then you can meet everyone! It's a great group, really, we've got uhh.... well, some people! And even a firbolg, too! Can ya believe that?! He must get awfully hot in these parts with all that shaggy fur, but he's still here!"
After talking to the guides at the tavern, Leann would head out into the market, looking for some lighter weight clothes. She would expect their guide to handle some provisioning, so would hold off on buying that sort of thing until it became clear their guide was not going to help with that portion. For now she looks for clothing and armor more fitting to the surroundings. She purchases light weight clothing and also studded leather armor.
As Dorno attempts to buy the fruit and vegetables there is a moment of barrier between you and the shop keep who doesn't seem to speak common, when it clicks however the merchant seems to get a mischievous look on her face. After choosing a variety of fruits and vegetables including Bananas, Carrots, Watermelon, dried Maracuya and Camu Camu.
The woman seems to indicate that it costs three, roll a DC12 wis(insight) check, to realise she means only 3 silver

"Well," the man says, "we're planning to put down 50 gold, if you wanted you could invest some of your coin as well to increase that prize. But on the topic of getting paid, you'll have our dinosaur, and we will want it back, consider it almost a deposit I guess."
Ivas
The woman continues to walk along side Ivas, her smile becoming more fake as she becomes less sure of her decision to put faith into the man before him. "Your friends? Yes I would like to meet them." She gives a small half-hearted laugh.
Leann
Leann's search brings her to the Grand Souk (area 6) another huge market area this one under a massive circus-like tent. This space sells almost everything imaginable, adventuring gear, weapons, armor, timber, spices, medicines, tiger pelts, coloured feathers, clothes, teeth, even flying monkeys and dinosaurs. The tent large tent keeps out the beating sun above but replaces it with trapped smells and a sticky humidity. Inside are hundreds of people from all over the world. Many guards patrol the area and minstrels and performers add to the noise.
Within it all new clothes and armor are easy to find, the clothes for 5 silver and the studded leather for 45 gold.
Aedan
"Hm, well I have heard that there are new types of undead in the jungle, other beats and stronger monsters than just the zombies that used to be found there."
Once Leann had her studded leather and clothes, she would head back to the tavern, change in her private room, then head back to where the group decided to meet up again.
Heading back through the city streets Leann spots one their companions in conversation with a man and halfling. As you approach you hear the man say, "I dunno where you staying at? We'll meet you there in the morning."
Nahuatl
The man tall and fair skinned, with gray eyes and long fire-red hair pulled back in some sort of ponytail. "I see you like ships, well I'm prepared to offer you a sailing ship for an exact map of Chult that shows the location of two ruins, Nangalore and Orolunga. See, my name is Lerek Dashlynd and I represent certain Waterdhavian interests who very much want these maps." With his spiel done you finally get a chance to speak.
"hey plaugg." Leann says walking up. "Meet someone of interest?" She asks, fishing the card from the guides she met out and handing it over. "I did as well, these guys seem to know a bit about the jungle, but we should probably shop around a bit more." She nods back towards their meeting point. 'I was just heading back to the meeting spot, want to walk together?"
She is now wearing a light weight dress-style tunic under a set of new studded leather armor.
"My pardon..." Leann says after a pause. "You look very much like someone I was traveling with..." She nods to the two. "Good day..." Heading off she moves towards the meeting point.
Nahuatl’s smiles disappears. “What makes you think I have any such maps in my possession?” She asks, choosing her words carefully. “I don’t think we have met before.”
The two men watch the exchange with a little confusion. As Leann walks away the halfling breaks from the conversation and follows.
Plaugg
The man considers your statement. "Alright, we'll meet here two hours I think, better be on the safe side, remember race starts at the strike of midday."
Leann
You hear a voice calling out for as you walk. "Ma'am! Ma'am!" The halfling from earlier comes up from behind. "I'm sorry but I could help but notice you are searching for a guide. Well, I would like to offer you my services as well. Gondolo's the name!"
Dorno
Cluing in about the difference between denominations you give the lady 3 silver. You come across a stall selling insect repellent and head inside, the man in change looks up at you. "And how can I help you today?"
Nahuatl
The man seems confused, "Oh no! I don't expect you to have it already! I am asking you to head an expedition into the jungle to find these places!" He says somewhat hurriedly.

(egad, Plaugg thinks to himself. What poor timing, just as I'm working a deal)
Plaugg messages Leann "Shh, I need to you say that you're sorry and you mistook me for someone else and walk away".
To Leann with a look of surprise - "Oh I'm sorry, do I know you?"
