Seeing the grievous bite wound on Lumen's back, Kess would narrow her eyes as she drew her second scimitar.
"This ends now, before anybody else gets hurt."
Now having drawn her second scimitar, Kess would sprint up, and presuming that Krackle just poofed back to his tiny lizard butt self, would bop him twice in the head with pommels of both blades OR seek to finally subdue the bear:
Bop 1: 12
Bop 2: 9
IF he is a Bear if the first attack hits:
Kess would plunge the first blade behind the bear's forward shoulder, looking to exploit a vulnerability behind the beast's thick, muscular hide to strike at the ribcage for 8Slashing damage.
IF he is a Kobold when he is hit:
Kess would, using an improvised attack, bop Krackle HARD, twice, in the face, with the pommels of her scimitars for a total of 4 non-lethal but still incredibly painfulbludgeoning damage each per hit, for a potential total of 8.
She would then, turning the edges of the blades right for Krackle's neck, narrow her eyes dangerously as she towers over him. "Yield! Or this is going to become more unpleasant than it already is!"
As the Krackle bear grabs the pack in his mouth and turns to race away from the fray with obsessive determination, Chrys takes advantage of the additional opportunity and slams her hammer with full force into the creature's shoulder.
The direct, bone cracking blow delivers a terrible amount of pain to the bear and nearly knocks it off balance. It continues to limp away, severely wounded, but not before both Lumen and Kess deliver their own attacks. The brunt of being pummeled and slashed by Chrys and Lumen is too much for the animal, and it staggers and falls to the ground, unconscious. You watch as the bear slowly transforms back into the regular kobold shape of your friend Krackle, who is now bloodied and badly injured.
With the transformation now complete, Kess leaps on top of Krackle and bashes him twice in the head the blunt end of her two blades and shouts her command to yield.
"Yield! Or this is going to become more unpleasant than it already is!"
Unfortunately, Krackle thrashes around beneath her and avoids being hit by her two blunt attacks, but some of the damage has carried over and he's still somewhat bloodied. Krackle is now at 11hp, and he finds himself staring up at the elf who has two sharp scimitars pointed right at his throat, and surrounded by the rest of his armed companions.
"Listen to Kess. There's been enough fighting." While she waits for an answer, she sends a Message to Lumen. If you have some spell that would make him friendly again or knock him out without us having to keep hitting him, now would be the time to use it, because he's not going to give that mask up peacefully.

"Ouch! why would you steal from me! I didn't do anything g to you!" The tiny kobold would say as he tries to scramble away from his companions. He would not grab for his weapons but would instead try to toss a handful of dirt towards kess's face while gasping and trying to scramble away "You're squishing mee!"
Lumen replies to Vesper’s message, “I can put him to sleep for a minute, but after he could be a fly or a bear and break free again. Should I?”
He tries to get close to kneel over the Kobold and help restrain him, saying, “the mask is messing with your head, try to see that. It’s not your mask, you didn’t even find it. It’s all of ours. Our burden to carry. Stop.”
She sends another message to Lumen. A minute will give us enough time to try and destroy the mask and tie up Krackle if we need to. "We're trying to help you. The mask is messing with your mind. You turned into a bear and hurt Lumen."

(Lumen persuasion if at all needed: 16)
Lumen will prepare to cast sleep if Krackle breaks free to run. He will also take Vesper's bag back and take the mask out while holding a rag so as not to touch it. Is it wooden? Metal? Stone?
Kess can a roll grapple (STR) check to see if she can hold him down, and of course, get help from anyone. In fact, since things have slowed now, anyone can roll a grapple check if you guys want to team up and have more than one person try to restrain him.
Regarding the persuasion check, let’s not do CHA checks against each other, you guys can play that stuff out with good RP.

"KRACKLE!" Kess would shout, meeting his eyes and then... with notable deliberateness and a fluid notion, stabbed the scimitars into the ground at either side of the kobold and move to hold him fast, looking to secure his arms in place by the shoulders with surprising strength given her slender frame.
Kess, willing to get a little dirty if it means keeping her little friend from getting herself hurt, moves to grapple and hold Krackle in place (Athletics): 7
"Please... listen to me! That mask has altered your mind! Look at what you did to Lumen! LOOK AT HIM! You could have killed him if you'd bitten any deeper into his back, Krackle! That isn't like the little kobold we know... at all."
((Is it too late to benefit from Bless? If so, Bailey, feel free to ignore that 1d4! ))
OOC: I think that the mask is in Lumen's pack, but if Vesper has it, she definitely would've dropped the pack.

Mask was in Vesper's pack, thanks to her winning athletics roll of 6, per this post, 1628, and 1629.
I sort of assumed Lumen was standing between Vesper's pack and the bear, so it wasn't on the ground.
OOC: Ok. Then Vesper would've dropped it when she started fighting.

Ok, so the mask was on the ground, and Krackle Bear has picked up up and run off with it towards the tree.
Krackle, make a DEX check, and now it’s Vesper and Kess’s turn again.
OOC: Would Krackle running off provoke from Kess, Lumen, and Chrys?

If it did, you can be sure Chrys would take a blessed swing:
Attack: 22 + Bless 2
Damage: 10 non-lethal bludgeoning

Same with Lumen
Attack: 15 Damage: 8 2

I guess at this point, we need to wait and see what Krackle does, but for now anyone can post. Feel free to continue.

If Lumen will allow, Vesper would use Mage Hand to grab the mask so that he doesn't have to.
